The park is not really a park where kids can run freely, its more like going to a botanical garden with dirt paths that weave back and forth along there plants that are planted along the path with its names and descriptions for each. Along with a summary of the birds that exists at the LA River in the beginning of the path that is directly to the right of the Sunnybrook pedestrian bridge that crosses the 5 but before the bike path & river crossing. Exactly to where the trash bin is if you were to make a 90°right hand turn you will see a concrete spot with displays of the botanical garden and the river. But who had placed the label that this was a Park and not a Garden is beyond me. Perhaps the landscaper that had designed it should have corrected it to the city or the city should go back to school on labeling city property of what they are and how they label them.
Love it!!!
