New manager, streets are kept up and plowed, always answers phone and emails, maintenance is always available and happy to help, wonderful neighbors, quiet clean park, friendly upbeat staff always a wave and and a smile
My wife and I inquired about a home across the street from us that became available. My wife is disabled and has a hard time walking .This home has a handicap ramp which is the reason we inquired about it. The previous renter told us they were paying $1065.00 per month. When we inquired about it the the office person told us the rent was going to be $1400. a month. How can they justify that much money for a mobile home
With a new temporary manager in place for the past ten days, more improvements and repairs have happened than in the past three months.UPDATE: January 5th, 2019: Move forward to the End of the year, and things have gone back to the way things were, or even worse., Park management is never available due to ongoing family issues, and corporate will not provide assistance or backup so that there is someone in the office. The new years snowstorm has completely crippled the park, with the maintenance man working thirty hours straight trying to deal with 27 inches of snowfall with the parks old and completely inadequate pickup truck.Rather than get him any support, or even adequate equipment, he was harassed and blamed by the park management until he quit in frustration, and the park roads are still impassable by anything but a four wheel drive, and residents are now paying out of their own pockets to bring in contractors to get the roads plowed. This is completely unacceptable behavior on the part of Yes! Communities.
Won’t answer phone calls and office is always closed. Water is constantly off.Won’t answer so called emergency line. Rent is way to expensive for what it is
Should be zero stars. What starts off great near my wrk turns into a nightmare with front office never returning calls and hardly answering email.
The roads were not shoveled at all. Bad business. We got stuck. Nice people came and helped us.
Great Community
I really love this trailer park...nice trailers, quite..
The newer homes being moved in are pretty nice. We havent lived here long enough to be super helpful, but we have noticed we are questioning the responsiveness of management.
Management needs better coordination, initial interest stops after youve signed your lease, and concerns may take months to be addressed. I can say that the home is nice and Ive had no problems since move-in.
I moved into Elk Ridge Mobile home park on May 18th, 2016. At the time of lease signing, I was told about the $2500 move-in rebate. I was also told that I would receive it in up to thirty days. I am a widow with two children. I lost my family home when my husband passed and put a new mobile home in Elk Ridge. I have been given numerous excuses by the YES Communities corporate office that appears to be changing the requirements which were never provided at all. The flyer I was given states only that the move-in rebate would be paid, no other information or requirements are on the flyer. Since there were no requirements, I am upset the someone in the corporate office is making up rules and refusing the provide me the rebate. I hope this message will result is some solution that pays me what was promised. If not, my only recourse is to pursue legal action and will definitely be talking to friends and neighbors to ensure they never do business with your company. I am looking for your response.
Moved into Elk Ridge July 28th. The RV I rented had no propane, the door lock was broken and the kitchen faucet was broken. Submitted a work order, nothing happened. No propane for a month. Was promised a brand new 3/2 trailer 1 September. Moved in with no air conditioning. Was told it would be completed on Tuesday. Ran washer last night and heard bubbling from master bath. Found grey water backing up into the shower and toilets. Pulled cleanout cap off to find the pipe either completely plugged or broken about 4 feet down. Called emergency maintenance 3 times, no reply. Called front office 3 times and sent an email. No reply. Talked to neighbor to find that this is typical. This community has no problem cashing my checks though. Those go right through.UPDATE - Elk Ridge has a new leasing manager. Hopefully, since this trailer court is located so conveniently to the lab, the new manager will make some meaningful changes and make this a nice place to rent or buy.
Not a good place to live. Rent is outrageous mamagement is very demanding, rude park itself is ugly no trees or grass catered more toward the eldery/retired
Yes Communities wants to crack down on overgrown weeds but refuses to pull the weeds on their vacant properties. The yard show also was covered in rocks only 3 months ago—the park chose to use so the cheapest job with no prep work done, leaving our neighborhood looking even less appealing. This corporation does not care about the image of its properties.
Lived there for 1 month. Under going mgmt. change. Seems as if they are actively cleaning up unsightly sites. Found current mgmt. a bit aggressive & will not listen unless you were aggressive in return.
If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Please save yourself the hassle and strife and do not even inquire about a home here. We have been lied to for months about a mobile home - they have even had to put us in a travel trailer after we were almost left homeless because of their incompetence (with no heat for a week and a toliet clog for four days that we eventually had to fix ourselves) They have displaced a family of four for over 3 and a half months with endless promises that have resulted in nothing. We should have had a home months ago. The extent of the problems exceeds the local property manager. We were barely told of community rules regarding our pets months later from people who play by their own rules. Had they been honest, at any point, we would have moved on. Do not be fooled by the new cosmetic upgrades - it is only lipstick on a pig. I would have used the internet they supposedly provide to post this but the manager has failed to pay the bill on time.
My friend lives here, management refuses to do simple maintenance oN the grounds and houses they rent. DO NOT RENT HERE.
We moved in in the beginning of December, house was listed as move in ready to which it was not. Rats in our walls, house was filthy, I told them to clean it before I signed a lease and I was told that it had been, no it had not...I spent 5 hours cleaning to get it to the point of move in ready. Then the dishwasher wasnt hooked up it was in the kitche. Half sticking out from under the counter and wires exposed, here it is end of December and maintenance still does nothing, we never see the maintenance actually working, the office is never open and the phones dont get answered and phone calls never returned...the yes communities that bought this place is worse than the previous owners. Nothing has been fixed in this rental at all, their move in inspection has a whole list of things wrong, including living room plaster needing to be repaired cuz its cracked and falling off the wall. Whoever did the wood flooring in here went right over the vent for furnace in my kids room, they said theyd fix it right away, my husband had to fix it so my kids werent freezing. This place is a joke, if you want a well maintained apartment or trailer, that are always repaired in a timely manner and cleaned appropriately then rent from plateau property management, their office is in ponderosa pines apartments but they own a bunch of apartment buildings and another trailer park in los alamos.
Awful place, management is terrible and theyve ruined the landscape, its a rock graveyard.
Stay away from elk ridge. Maintenance is never taken care of like they say it will be. Rent statement is always late or stuck to the window of your car the day that it is due. Cant ever get ahold of anyone in the office. And if you call corporate they say too bad we wont do anything about anything.
Very quiet place.
Great park
