My dog and I really enjoy this park. It is really big and has plenty of grass and shade. There are two water fountains for the large dogs on opposite sides of the fenced area. We usually visit mid-morning when its not too busy but we are sure to run into some friends. Dogs are friendly and playful, and the owners are for the most part attentive and respectful. This park is frequented by dog daycare/ walking services, so dont be surprised when you see a pack of 8 dogs run in at the same time. Also be prepared for seeing small dogs in the large dog area. If you have a large dog with a high prey drive or aggression towards small dogs I would use caution.

Lots of space for the dogs to roam. Two separate sections--one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Been going here for a year and its been good. Lately though there has been so much dog poop everywhere. People not picking up after their dogs. I used to run around with my dog but now I dont because I dont want to step in poop. Also, there appears to be less maintenance than before--the grass doesnt seem to be cut as often (maybe budget cuts) Wish it was as good as it used to be!

I have been looking for a nice clean dog park for a while now, and this park is by farthest the best one I have found so far. The grass is kept nice and clean theres no dog poop anywhere, that means people pickup after their dogs. On like other parks Ive been to. I loved it.

First time here with my dog, and Im super impressed! There were so many friendly dogs of all sizes. There was a section for small dogs, but all the dogs seemed to be mingling well in the large enclosure, and they were all so well-behaved, so we stayed in the larger area. Theres plenty of parking and two water fountains in the large enclosure. Well definitely be coming back here again, my pup loved it. Highly recommend it ^-^

Our dog loves this place. It has large and small dog separate areas. They have a decent entrance area to unleash your dog on the way in. Dogs all seem to get along well here and have a great time. Theres a watering station with bowls if you dont have a portable. Remember though, this is a dog park. Nothing super fancy and a lot of dirt areas or A LOT of mud if it has rained. Have fun!

Great dog park! Worth the drive. We have 2 small dogs. One just likes to play but one likes to fetch a ball. Most dog parks for small dogs are too small to really throw a ball. This one is good size. Big dogs have their own side too. The grass is really nice. Our dogs like it better than sand or bark. The other owners are responsible too. Never seen a dog left to be out of control or a problem yet.

This is a great place to bring your social dogs so they can be social butterflies, frolic, and you can also get to know people. The large dog park does tend to have a lot of German Shepard owners that come but the dogs are fairly well looked after. When the fur flies the owners are pretty decent about getting after their little ones so they can keep them behaved. The small dog park where I take my dogs is very well looked after and has a dedicated core group that even has their own social media group that has little doggy Birthday parties for every month of the year and holiday events for paws and guest. They also sometimes have little meet ups with pet vendors and everything. This is definitely a unique little place with a great cross section of caring owners who range from rescuers to purebred show households keeping up a breed for the preservation for coming generations.

I love this place . My dog loves it even more. He howls all the way up to the parking lot. But do understand that not all big dogs like small dogs so if you have little ones, be mindful that yous littles are at risk for being attacked on the big dog side. That goes for any park. Little dogs have died in these situations. Juat because your little dog likes big dogs doesnt mean the big dog like small dogs. They are seperate for a reason.

Our Doodle group meets here once a month for a romp. Its a great, open, spacious dog park. The entrance can be hard to locate and is close to a military facility with keep out signs, so dont be intimidated by those. Most patrons (dogs and owners) have been well behaved during our visits.

3 1/2 stars parking is free, better bring the dog in the compact though. Not well planned as far as the space that was available. Practically a one-way Street; if you have a big vehicle you will have to park opposite of free space on the other side and hopefully no one brings her car and parked between the trees. Park good; parking stinks. Thats odd because its a dog park; you would think the park would stink, not the parking lot. Huh, go figure.

10/4/19: Suggestion for newbies to the park. The main entrance attracts too many dogs and chaos as dogs enter (though mostly for fun). My suggestion would be to use the side entrance about halfway down off the soccer field.2/27/18: Heard a small puppy was killed at the dog park last week by another dog, possibly a pit bull. Very sad.Best Dog Park Ever! My pooch loves playing with all the great dogs. Large area. Good people (mostly). There are always some inexperienced owners who are learning the ins and outs of dog ownership. We just go to the other side of the park or leave. Why take the risk.

1. Now separate sections for both large and small dogs.2. Much of the grass dead and needs to be reseeded.3. The new small dog section needs shade and some type of Fountain to get water for the dogs.4 Limited seating in small dog section.Large dog park and for as many people with their dogs that come here better attention to maintaining the dog park needs to be better managed by the city.

We have been coming to Arbor for 9 years and have seen it all: wonderful, caring people, fist fights, dog fights, a dog whisperer, and even a streaker. But generally this is a well maintained park with grass, trees, water fountains, seating, handicap parking, and a small dog park enclosure. My only complaint is that word has gotten out and now there are more and more people and sometimes crowded parking. So they can go somewhere else--the streaker has not returned!

Really big area. My babies love to run all around. Ive met some nice fur-parents and my dogs have developed friendships. My dogs are considered small but they dont like the small dog area. Its too small. We are always in the big dog section and love it. Celebrated one of my dogs birthdays there. Youre going to have crazy people and crazy dogs in all parks. Just try to avoid them. I once left early cause I noticed all dogs seemed to be in a bad mood and all mibes wanted to do was play. The boy scouts recently put some courses for the dogs. Besides the beach, this is the place to go.

I am done trying to visit this park. Every time I go here, people are weird and sometimes overly aggressive... And dont even get me started on their dogs. This crazy dog is immediately playing rough with my dogs as soon as I walked in the gate. He is bowling me over too.... Next thing I know, this crazy lady is yelling at me about how my dog attacked her dog and that I need to leave. I am trying to tell her that the dog in front of us is NOT mine and that the other THREE dogs are mine and I am grabbing the crazy dog to get him off my dogs. The owner of the a-hole dog is nowhere to be found until almost 20mins later, after the dog has literally pissed off every person in there. At least every other time I go, something like this happens. Once I went and several police were there and we couldnt even visit the park. Honestly, they should just put in a playground.

Decent municipal dog park w/Porta potty a walk away [why 3 stars], lawn mostly eroded by over-use, water fountains, separate small dog section. Beats paying $10 parking at El Doroado Dog Park. Occasional squirrels in shade trees distract my dog, who refuses to leave their tree. Most dog owners friendly, responsible, but a few grouches who blame other dogs, owners when they cant control their own pets. I cannot say if afternoons are the same since I come mornings.
