I love this restored historic building uts absolutely gorgeous
I performed in this theater as a child and it has been wonderful seeing my children on the same stage. The only complaint I have is that the seating is very cramped. I am 55 and I could not change the position of my legs at all. It was extremely uncomfortable. I know they are trying to save space but come on.. we pay good money for the shows and then get to sit for hours cramped. Thats my only complaint, other then that it is great and is a beautiful historic building. The ushers are always very friendly also.
My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the Nov 16th 2pm matinee production of the Cabaret Follies 2019! We were amazed at the scope of Local Amateur talent that amazed the audience. These singers & dancers were dedicated to performing at the top of their skills! They also organized themselves into many group musicals as well as performing individually. The choreography, costuming, & camaraderie between players was stunning!A truly amazing afternoon of entertainment. The Columbia Theater housed a terrific event today! The audience was thoroughly delighted!Thank you all for your dedication & hard work. It was most appreciated!George & Maggie Long
Performances were absolutely entertaining. Beautiful music, great comedy, wonderful performances by so many last night 11/15. It was great relief to laugh and relax. Community Home Health illustrateds their caring for our community.
It was my first time the and I loved it! You gotta go to know what Im talkin about its a extravagant experience.
Built in 1925, amazing building thats lasted through the years. Would highly suggest visiting if youre in Washington state.
The comedy show was awesome my favorites were 1/3 and 6. Love that theater! beautiful!!!
Great place for small concerts, plays and different types of shows.
Tonight we saw The Nutcracker. This was our first time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The theater is absolutely beautiful. Built in the 1920s, but is so fresh it looks brand new. The seats are very comfortable, and even though we were in the last row of the Orchestra section, the view of the stage was excellent. Cant wait to go again.
4/10/2019: Your reply is appreciated, and I hope we visit you soon. I am upping my rating, I hope you take my concern seriously.4/5/2019: I see they have booked a big cat act. This really disturbs me. The act is billed as a fund raiser, which makes it even worse... I am not a fan. A beautifully restored theatre, which needs our support, however please do not support the BIG CAT act.4/10/2019:Your reply is appreciated, and I hope we visit you soon.
It has a decent line up of performing artists.
Love the way they turned it into a local Broadway stage. Every performance has been outstanding. As well as the staff. Cant wait for the next one
This theater is attempting to give the illusion of a cultured art me center, however, take note: allowing a show that exploits big cats is very backwards thinking. Shame on the board of directors for supporting this, and I can’t help but be convinced the quality of this theater’s programs is very low. It is sad that in today’s age, having big cats and other wild animals is fun, and I would have thought better of this center. Do better. Educate yourself on the dark underworld of how these animals are trained and what happens to them afterwards, and the conditions they live in while traveling. Hard pass for me.
So far Ive only been to the box office, but the staff was amazing and pleasant to deal with! We see our show next Friday night!
Hotel California is always amazing. They put on a wonderful show. Well worth seeing. I got to the Columbia theater alot they have some great events.
Its a very old place but very clean they dont make places like this so when you go there you appreciate everything that is there
Just saw Asleep at The Wheel at the Columbia Theatre, they were fantastic! Im so glad that we have a gem like this in our community and that theyre attracting such wonderful performers. We have been to several different types of events here recently and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. Thank you!
Commerce Ave Beautiful Old Style Theatre Highly Recommend
Great little theater. Has historical value and is beautiful. It can get a bit cold/hot inside so prepare for that.
Always a great experience. This time was for a childrens play. So glad this piece of local history was able to be restored and enjoyed for years to come.
A great old theater. Great acoustics, great seating. The staff are there to assist in anyway they are able. The decor in the theater itself is refreshingly artsy. What the theaters would have looked like, when it was truly and experience. Not slick and trendy as they are now.
Beautiful, old building, full of history & going there brings back memories of days long ago. It is run by great people who bring awesome talent, old movies & entertainment for kids. Great date night destination.
Love the events and shows here!! Always love attending when we can. Great memories!!
Great theater. A real Longview gem.
Very very nice loved the play
Great venues
Potato Salad Cool Off 2018 and luncheon for the ushers.Great time with great people.Thank you to Columbia Theatre to caring for a true gem in our community.
Beautiful restoration, quality shows. A must visit !
Its a beautiful Theatre. The show was great.
Incredible acoustics, beautiful vintage venue! Friendly staff. Just saw The Dandy Warhols here on 11/4/17. Not a bad seat in the house, sound was amazing. The band remarked several times how much they enjoyed playing there. Hope the theatre will book more bands in the near future. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Quoted from coverage of the Big Cat (Tiger) controversy covered by The Daily News:“We are a small non-profit,” Morelli said. “This is not about Jay Owenhouse and Big Cat Rescue. This is about someone going after us to try and end a practice they disagree with. … They’re not users of the Columbia Theatre. They’re not in our community. They do not know who we are.”Guess what Morelli, I was born, raised, and have lived here, mere minutes from you and your theater for over 20 years. I have been to multiple shows here, and your response to the outcry over the upcoming magic show is absolutely soulless, packed with lies, and is a disgrace to respectable showmen. As a lifelong local, I have absolutely no respect for you, or any of your recent decisions and statements. You disgust me.
Great symphony orchestra and great venue!
Its always a pleasant experience to view the arts preforming at the Theater.
The Columbia Theater is a beautiful place. I love the nostalgic look and feel. The bathrooms are clean and the seats are comfortable.
The show was canceled no refunds waited till the last minute to tell us first time going there and my daughters first concert very disappointed they dont realize people drive a ways to hey there and also have babysitters they pay it was a huge disappointment. They made me hit a star to post this.
Very nice place. Nice hosts and pretty good venue. Something for just about anyone.
Weve seen 5 shows there this season. The venue is lovely and performances have all been spectacular, but the stage mics are still to hot and, coupled with a sound system that is cranked too high, it makes the nuances muddied and the dialogue difficult to understand.
Watched a wonderful performance by Peter Yarrow and his son. Very heartwarming!
Pretty theatre, cool show, saw Aereum.
Awesome! Best night out.
Beautiful historic location. Well preserved. All good seats.
I am appalled that Columbia Theatre is again allowing the exploitation of tigers by hosting illusionist Jay Owenhouse’s act with tigers. It is cruel and exploitative to drag tigers around the country, force them to perform unnatural acts and use them as entertainment. Tigers are sentient, majestic beings who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, not forced to endure stressful, loud experiences and perform in Vegas-style acts just to entertain your guests.Owenhouse’s show also sends the wrong message that it is okay for humans to mistreat big cats however they want. The days of exploiting and abusing big cats as entertainment are over. Even Ringling Brothers circus has shut down, and numerous other entertainment acts are now successfully operating without wild animals due to the public’s shifting view about the use of big cats and other wild animals forced to perform unnatural acts in shows.I urge Columbia Theatre to CANCEL OWENHOUSE’S SHOW and NOT be party to the inhumane treatment of big cats. Please cancel the big cats!
Ive been to a couple of events at this venue. Classy old theater.
Ive been here several times. I love the building, the detailed work and the feel of the place. I enjoy going to the concerts there. I love the volunteers.
This place is amazing all the love and hard work that goes into it!
This is a beautifully restored 1920s Era theatre. The Scottish group presenting Celtic music was excellent. Great performance.
Love going to the old movie series. So much going on there for all ages.
Love going here.
Beautiful theater, and lovely folks. Thanks for the conversation, Gian. O-H!
Beautiful facility and local with top notch shows. A great benefit for the community!
Not a fan. Cramped seating, bad acoustics. No elavator. Bought season tickets, every show is a different night and different seats. All quite ODD!!
Nice historic place with good acoustics. Little river band was awesome.
What a beautiful theater. Staff and volunteers were great. Cant wait to come back.
Great shows in a beautiful venue.
Creedence Revelation was wonderful. The selection of music was spot on!The Columbia Theater is a beautiful facility, and the staff is professional and friendly.

Good shows. Great people work there.
We love it every time we go!
This place is more than amazing!
Something for everyone!
Great place to perform and enjoy live shows. I am glad they spent the time and money to preserve this historic landmark.
The building has a very nice stage and really good sounds even in the upper balcony. the biggest disappointment was waiting 30 minutes in line to get tickets and we were just the 5th people in line. the line was packed down the block.
Great performances, quality shows with a good variety too!Always clean, workers are always courteous
My daughter does her ballet recitals here very beautifull
Love how comfortable it is and beautiful inside!
Still a beautiful building wish they had more stuff I would be interested in during the week

Hidden gem in Longview/Kelso!!
Awesome! This is really a great place. Support the artists
Very fun evening very crowded no towels in restroom.
Awesome concert with Asleep at the wheel!
This is a great place to come and support local theater. With a rich history, and a great (very interesting) staff, you should make time to appreciate the only theater ever saved by a volcanic explosion!
Enjoyed the theater and Ted Vigil tonight. Bathroom upstairs could use an update. Only two toilets.
Love this beautifully restored theater. Concerts here are always a wonderful experience.
Great historic venue. Needs some updates here and there, but overall it is a hub of art and culture for Longview.
Great care of both my dogs, friendly people
Excellent place for the dance show
Saw and heard CANTUS perform Christmas stories. I love an historic theater and it was a wonderful show.
