I have been a fan and supporter of Centennial Ballet for about 20 years. They have always strived for quality in dance education/training and program presentation. I continue to be impressed with the care and attention they give to every aspect - and every person. Centennial Ballet is a top notch, professional organization.

We signed our daughter up with Centennial State Ballet and were blown away by the level of professionalism this studio holds. Our daughter is improving at an increasingly high pace. The Coaching is exceptional, and the performance opportunity is exactly what we are looking for in a dance studio. Our little girl gets to be on stage with the professional dancers in things like the nutcracker. What an amazing experience for her! We also have her in ariel ballet, and it looked like so much fun, my wife and I took the adult class. This studio is absolutely worth driving a little bit further to go to.

I love this school. My daughter is 6, and I am 40. I did ballet all my life. Kristen Kingsley is an awesome ballerina. I watched her in the 90s when she danced for the KC Ballet, loved it!! So happy she is the director of this school, shes the best:-)

Its upsetting to know that Centennial State Ballet does not seem inclusive or accepting of serious adult dancers. They apparently have classes for adults, but when I expressed interest in auditioning for a role in their upcoming Nutcracker production, they indicated that even if I auditioned, they would not consider me for a serious role (i.e. anything other than a party parent) because I am older than 18.

I am an adult dancer and my 6 year old daughter also dances at the studio. We have been dancing here for about 2 years now. Kristin and the other teachers have been so kind and inclusive to both of us and have I have even had the pleasure of performing with them. I cant speak highly enough of the level of professionalism and quality that this school has to offer. The technique taught here is solid and the performance opportunities are amazing especially for the young adults seeking a professional career in dance. All of the teachers that are there have extensive dance backgrounds and most of them were/are professional dancers and each bring a unique perspective to the classes they teach. The studio feels like family and I feel so fortunate to have found it. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been part of LDTA/Centennial State Ballet since she was 4 and she is now 6 . She has taken part in their recitals and the Nutcracker. We love this school not only because she is learning ballet from amazing teachers but because they promote a positive and accepting atmosphere. This is not your typical caddy dance environment. The older dancers are always helpful with the younger kids, giving them their attention and helping them through their parts. The same goes for the parents of the dancers, I have only had great experiences since my daughter has been here.

Our family went to see The Nutcracker -- Dec 2014. Our son Drew Marthaler from Boulder was in the orchestra and invited us. It has been a longtime tradition in our family to see the Nutcracker during the Christmas season. We have seen it in several cities and several venues. This particular production was our very favorite. We were so delighted with the music, the dancing, the costumes, the dancers ---- everything. It was fantastic and will be a treasured memory! We live in Aurora but it was well worth our trip. We were extremely impressed and will be spreading the word! We will most surely be back to see your other productions. Drews family and friends thank you so much! We all love you and your labor of love so very much.

This school is outstanding. Our family loves it here! My children have grown and developed beautifully with the guidance of wonderful teachers that instill discipline, values, joyfulness, and a passion for dance. The performances, classes, and study is second to none. I highly recommend this institution for children, adults, and performances.

A wonderful, professional dance school for youth that feels like family! The opportunities for performing are outstanding, as children experience what it is like to perform in a full-length ballet with live music, costumes, lighting and sets. Whether your child is new to dance or looking for a pre-professional program in Boulder County - this is the place!

We have enjoyed being a part of the Childrens Division through LDTA. My daughter loves going to dance class and learning from her amazing instructor. I have seen a huge difference in her little dancing/performing skills from her first recital in December to the Spring show in May. Aside from dancing, she has been able to practice some wonderful social skills as well (listening, taking turns, following directions, etc). Most importantly, her confidence has grown and she has had a lot of fun. The staff and faculty are wonderful and truly dedicated. Thank you, LDTA!

We tried a few different local dance schools until we found the right fit for our daughter. She never felt quite “at home” until we found CSB. Centennial State Ballet has helped her grow so much as a dancer, in both technique and self confidence. She loves being a part of the shows, and she adores her teachers. We really enjoy the community aspect of CSB. As a whole family we have participated in more Longmont events than we can count, parades, art walks and more. It is so much more than a place for our daughter to dance, it has connected us to our town in a way we wouldn’t have expected and we love that!

These reviews are made by employees. I had three daughters at the studio and now daughter has to go to therapy to recover from abuse by adults in a position of trust. We arent the only past clients in therapy. The school director is emotionally unstable and should not be teaching kids and young adults.
