Ive only been once so far but will definitely continue to come. Clean and spacious pool everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Place is not clean. Attended a Professional water therapy class and the facility wouldnt even let us enter the place until 4 P.m. . It ate into our hour of therapy, because you had to get changed, Etc. Pool was barely warm because of a maintenance issue. The pool is dirty and has floating things in it like hair, etc. Better of at Los Alamitos if you need water therapy.
Clean and welcoming! This place has always been great .
I love water aerobics. I feel that our group is like family. Great bunch of folks. Great instructors
I was talking aquatic classes at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. My physical therapy and aquatic therapy there has come to an end. I will continue my therapy here at California Aquatic Therapy Center. Ive gone there 3 times. I will go there with my IHSS person for free. I think that I would like this place. Ive been walking with my cane only for the last few months. I am getting away from my walker/rollator.
I went there to check out their Aquatic Therapy Center. I looked around and spoke with Pat the director. She said that I would have use of their physical therapy person. I then met this lady. I signed up for 1 year membership. So after my aquatic therapy at Rancho Los Amigos, physical therapy. I will continue here to once again walk with my cane only. #nomorewalker #caneonly #blessed
Without a doubt the best accessibility to a pool I have seen. Long low angle ramps into both pools with double handrails.
This is a great pool option for you. They keep the pool very warm which is great for arthritis. If you have a disability you can use these pools easily as they are specially designed for you to be able to access the pool. They have water aerobics and physical therapy and its really a nice crowd that goes there. The administrative staff is very nice and helpful. Its $325 per year but you can go all you want
Best pool ever! If youre hurt or have an injury you should definitely go there, and if your not you should still go. Warm water workouts are amazing!! When will other pools learn this??
I loved it I went to summer camp and it was amazing the staff are so nice hope I will go again
Really amazing place helps your body feel good. The therapist care about your pain. They never over exert your body to the point of pain. This place is absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to go back one day again really soon.
Very nice heated pool for aquatic therapy...theres clases to take if youre not doing therapy they have a big shallow pool from 4-6ft deep and also have a deep pool with 3 lanes for swimming laps the staff is nice and helpful - really recomend for poeple with mobility issues
Great, for post stroke rehap
Went here for physical therapy, stayed because of the fantastic facility and staff.
Staff is friendly and helpful, learn how to exercise safely in the water also handicapped approved, good for therapy and great place for seniors. Just wish they had more showers in the dressing rooms. But not a deal breaker.
Love the warm water! Its really nice that the supply so many different kinds of safety vest, supports, noodles, weights, paddle boards just anything to keep you comfortable, safe & relaxed while your in the water. The life guards are nice as well as the water therapist. The staff are very positive, encouraging and focus to help you no matter what your going through!Pools of Hope isnt just for people with disabilities, its for everyone! The young, old, doesnt matter what your skin tone is.They also have to pools, a lap pool and a large general pool! They have lifts for both oools. They only thing I feel it needs is a larger ladies dressing room and another shower. They currently have two.Over all its a great pool and staff!
I am grateful for Pools of Hope. One day I promise and you hold me to this when you see or hear my name called all over this world and known all over this world for material wealth, you CALL ME OR REACH ME BY somehow and I promise you I am going to not only buy that house you wanted across the street for parking, but I want to buy all he houses on that street and keep the main building as a historical landmark and build the largest facility that will includes The largest parking lot that meets the ratio of occupancy to the facility. Ill see you again!
I am surviving Multiple Sclerosis, and although many people with MS are heat sensitive, as am I, the warm waters are doing wonders for me. My Therapist has given me exercises, that awaken muscles that I havent felt work in years. I believe that with the warm water and the therapy, my mobility is improving. I thank God for the California Aquatic Therapy Center/California Pools of Hope.
I will update my review once I am finished with my toddlers swimming lessons..Edit: I wasnt necessarily satisfied with the swimming instructor. The director/manager of the pool gave my daughter one lesson when the instructor was absent and it was the best one she had through the course. I forgot her name, but she was very kind and helped my toddler let go in the water. I am very thankful and appreciate that specific person and her teaching skills. As of now, Ill be returning next year spring summer for another set of lessons.
The water is warm! Enough said!
Great Concept And wonderful people.
Everyone here is happy. A good place to be.The warm water therapy I do believe is helping me very well.
People are very helpful. Need more parking....
Pool of HOPE is a God - send ! Ive been attending the cardiac water aerobics and it is amazing. I had been off for 3-1/2 months, walking with a walker. Not anymore!!! Im even back to work. The water exercises are really helping me reach my goals. The instructor Christine is amazing!!!! I will take the class another 6 weeks and then join for the annual membership!!! I love it. Family environment! I even put my daughter in the swim camp!!!!
I had a party at their facility and it was great the employees are nice but not very educated on how to run the site. I was told a million different stories about deposit money, remaining balance etc. and then was yelled at by the director about me asking for a cleaning deposit that I was told I was getting back on the next business day by one her own staff. Their crazy and I will never do business with them again
Currently disabled from a work related accident, I found the pool to be a must in my recovery. Classes, instructions, and friendly faces are to be found at this center. Strongly recommend to anyone suffering from injuries who are ready to get going and take back their lives.
Victoria rocks shes a great trainer and I was just so excited to be there I had a great time
Pools of Despair. I don’t know if they’re seriously understaffed, bad at their jobs, or both. I’m giving up, will settle for regular physical therapy, because this is way too complicated. There’s a special place in hell for Xiomara (sp?)
Warm water therapy, therapists actively work side by side in the water unlike other places
Love it great way to loosen those tight muscles with the warm water therapy!!
Clean and good upgrades environment and physical therapy wise. Great staff!
Great place for Aqua Therapy
We have been going to this swim therapy for years. Great people, great personnel.

Its awesome, I so enjoy my time.
Nice place, the instructors do an excellent job! Butthe receptionist She seems bored and tired.
