Magnificent Ocean Views. Great place to walk, bike or Run

My wife and I love walking on the boardwalk in long beach. Beautiful ocean views and fresh sea air. In this time of covid a true freeing experience. Unfortunately maybe 10 percent of the people there were wearing or had a mask in hand ready to wear when needed. I would under normal circumstances given 5 but because of the lack of concern and understanding about how important it is for us all to care about each other and not just ourselves it took away from what normally would have been pure enjoyment.

We came from flushing,Queens to walk the boardwalk and the beachVery relaxing. Had delicious ice cream at Marvels ice cream stand

Great place to spent summer, great place to meet an Autumn and cant wait till spring for weather awakening.

Great views. Bike path full length of long bourdwalk. Most people wore mask during my last trip there.

Beautiful Fathers Day on the boardwalk! Many people out but mostly social distancing. Some with masks some without. Witnessed a wedding down by the shoreline... Lovely.

A great place to just sit and unwind while listening to the waves. Depending on the time of day, parking can be a problem.

My company was very good, the view of the sunset was marvelous but the wind was strong and cold. Anyway was good to be there.

There is nothing like taking a walk by the ocean on our Boardwalk.......extremely relaxing.

Gorgeous Beach. My only issue is the fact that where I come from we dont have to pay to use our beaches. Had I not read that there was a fee to get in, In another review I would not have known. 15.00 a person is a but steal if you ask me. But I guess it is NY. Beach was nice and clean and the section we were in had a bunch of food trucks. Which was fantastic because there was no where else to eat. Good day but make sure you have lots of cash on hand.

The Long Beach boardwalk is beautiful! What a great place to walk and run and study the birds, waves and great blue sky.Kudos to Long Beach for creating a gem from a disaster and for taking on the challenge of protecting its people from harsh acts of nature.

Best beach to have fun, If weather and wind supports. They provide balls to play volley ball and there are so many nets that you will find at least one available.Washrooms are available but not clean though. Best place for weekend escape for new yorkers.

Loved it when we lived there, now love it even more since we miss Long Beach. The new renovated boardwalk is amazing to walk on and take in the fresh air. Safe place though the crowds have increased last few years...

Their every Sunday for the beach spend the day their. A nice clean and quite place. Everyone keeps to them self. Board walk has a busy atmosphere running biking people walking and having a good time. They have events at certain times their always good and concerts during the sunmer.

Long Beach boardwalk and beach have always been 10 out of 10. I couldnt think of a negative thing to say, not even a quibble. I have been a very frequent visitor for over 20 years and its always been perfect

BEAUTIFUL, warm and Quiet!

I like to walk here at night because its less crowded and the moonlight is just stunning! They remodeled since Ive been there and its fantastic! If you like a calmer, quieter scene, night is your time!

Nice clean beach. NYPD here were rude though. Yelled at a group of boys for swimming (people further down were swimming just fine and there was no no swimming signs nearby) but let the couple on the jetties stay there even though there was a sign saying to stay off the jetties...

Beautiful boardwalk but no shops or stands on it. Mainly a lot of tall buildings on one side and tankers on the horizon. Lot of pubs and places to eat in town though

Great views of the beach directly off the boardwalk. Definitely much improved since it was rebuilt

Great for daytime fun, even better for that romantic walk on the beach. Its free admission after 6pm but before that, its around $15. Season passes are available as well for about $100. Prices may vary. During the summer, free concerts every night, food trucks, the 4th of July fireworks display( breathtaking might I add), the many arts and crafts fairs, the carnivals and so much more. The BEACH is closed at night but not completely inaccessible, so swim at your own risk because there are no life guards at night, reason? They cant see you in the dark. My advice would be to stay on the sand where you are safe if you decide you want to be on the beach. The boardwalk is always available for free.

After reconstruction, its the perfect place to be seen. Runner, Bikes, and pedestrian all looking to get a tan and a workout in. The new Dune setup is awkward but skips the hot sands all the way to the shore line

Nice but I dont understand charging $15.00 per adult. The beach used to be a cheap day of fun, now its the price of movie.

Beautiful day but a lot of kelp where your allowed to swim.And where there wasnt it was surfing only.You have to pay to go on beach 12$.

A lovely experience it was. Loved that the environment was clean. Not sure what its like in summer, but would sure visit again.

The boardwalk is beautiful with a bike lane and separate pedestrian paths. There are bathrooms, showers eateries and an area with food trucks and picbic tables to eat . There are beach volleyball courts and surfing lessons svailable.
