Been coming here for a few years. The staff is friendly and the vibe is cool. It just seems like a brewery in long beach should have more local stuff on draft. Most of the draft was from norcal or further. Please note to bring cash if you only plan on having 1 drink as there is a $10 min for cards.

Went to see a friend perform with his band at this awesome little bar. Had a great time, and loved the artwork on the walls.

Love this place forever. Back patio closes at 10pm. $10 min charge for card use so bring cash if you dont plan to spend that much. Live bands play here often. Very intimate and cozy space. New artist work on display - always uniqu always a hoot. Great place to gather with friends, meet up for a date or roll puy solo to.

Had the best experience with friends here the other night. It was still a little early so not too packed at first. The bartender Emily was cool. She was playing good music and recommended a yummy red blend. Well be back!

You can come to hear bands play for free! You cannot beat that. Its front row seats baby. Great vibes and the bar tenders are always so nice. I feel at home. Venue bleeds punk and rock.

Played a couple gigs here... Chill spot, dig the curtains over the front door. Would give it five stars, but parking can be tough sometimes.

Great place to meet good people

Came down to 4th Street Vine for a my buddys birthday party. Apparently he DJs here every Thursday night. The actual bar was great. They have a wide variety of alcohol to choose from and the staff was very quick with orders. The space itself was huge with lots of places to sit. The outside patio was nice to hang out and chit chat as well as bum a smoke.

Always a solid place to start out a bar crawl on 4th street. If live music isnt your thing, look it up if they have performances, because it can get loud. Patio is my favorite place to hang out. Bartenders are friendly & helpful.

This place is becoming a excellent little music venue for local bands. The bands basically perform right on the floor with the patrons which can create a kick ass experience. The crowd is diverse in age but a love of good music is the common factor. They have craft beer to drink and wine of course given that technically its a wine bar. It aint cheap but the selection is pretty good. It can get crazy packed depending on the band so get there early if you like.

Amazing music on the stereo (Lizzo! Bikini Kill! Sleater-Kinney!) plus solid live punk bands. Solid selection of beers, good wines, and even some fermented amazingness! The decor is tight and everything we drank recommended by the staff was delicious. Plus, dope location. Will return!

Love this little spot. Everyone who works there is always super nice and helpful. Great selection of beer and wine. I always see the owner here with a smile on his face re stocking the bar. Patio area is a nice touch if youre looking to relax outside. Only down-fall is the 1 restroom, however it is always clean regardless of the fact that men and women share the 1 stall.

4th St Vine is a place you go to that feels like a slightly more crowded, cooler version of home. Its a part of a community, a movement, a dope place with great botique wines & craft beers. The bartenders are nice, fun, friendly, sassy & hawt. Theres an eclectic assortment of local, live music at least five nights a week and/or a DJ driving 1s & 2s all the way home otherwise. Theres a patio. It grows bougainvillea. Theres exposed brick. It holds open rafters. Theres Rasputin on draft. It makes you Never Say Die. Whatever you need, will find you here.

Great shows fantastic mixed berry cider, all types of stouts and ales. Oh and the wine is amazing, shouts out to Jim. They host lots of art always changing up the decor; you can even purchase prints of local artists

Coolest little neighborhood Beer & Wine Bar. Amazing live music almost every night, the bartenders are always friendly and helpful.And the owners Jim & Sophia are the Best. Outdoor back patio has been nice on these hot nights. Nice Beer & Wine selection.

Nice small place to sit and see a band on a weeknight. Only criticism is that they need regular drinks like sodas. Yeah, its supposedly a wine bar but if your wine bar is going to add non-fancy bands, add some non-fancy beverages. Smoking patio with seating in back.

Always love going to 4th St Vine. They have different wines every week and theyre always on point. Not a huge beer selection, but the ones they do have are great quality.

Great place not only for beer or wine, but a hot spot to see local live indie rawk up close and in person. Take a cab or other ride service here, though. Parking s is bad in this parts.

This is a great little wine and beer bar. The cooler has a great assortment of craft beer in cans and bottles, and they have a good selection of wine. Unfortunately on the night I went the beer tap system was down so I wasnt able to choose from anything they might carry on tap. My friends told me its usually good stuff. There was some live music, which I think sounded good but the acoustics of the small room arent conducive to amplified instruments and drums and such. Plus it made it impossible to visit with friends. But I dont think the broken beer tap or music too loud would have affected my rating. Overall it was a pleasant experience and Id love to return soon, but I wouldnt give it the best night of my life rating. Its a *CLEAN* alternative to the 4th street dives due west of Retro Row.

Small, artsy, has back space for drinking and smoking but inside things can get hot and stuffy. Features music live and keeps a low vibe. Chill place. Cool for wine. Offers beer and some snacks such as beef jerky (usually long beach local).

Horrible bartenders and staff. Rude and inconsiderate. I will not support a business that bleeds hate.

Cozy Venue

Bartenders stressed out to the max. They were understaffed, super busy, and there are way too many drink options for them to serve. Place is kind of small and gets busy. Very hipster with all the cool name brands that you dont know because you just dont look that cool to know what they are.

This a great local Beer and Wine bar with a fun local crowd. Sadly they close early on weekends but its a nice place to start your weekend shenanigans.

Fantastic spot to hang out for some drinksThey have a number of good wines for sale, a sampling of equally good wines and beers to taste with a nice little living room type lounge area and outdoor patio to enjoy the drinks and company. I was very impressed with the beer selection and will certainly head back with that in mind, but my recent visit was for wine...It was the great $3 Thurs that my wife and I visited and sampled a Rhone and Nero dAvola. My Nero wasnt on the $3 list but the surprisingly good Rhone was thankfully. We probably wouldnt have tried it otherwise but am glad to have given it a shot. Thats whats great about the $3 night, you can try a small selection of wines that you normally may not give the time of day and possibly end up a fan of something new.Also, in addition to the great deal on Thurs, the bottles for sale have reasonable prices. I made a small personal victory in finding a bottle that I tried and loved at a restaurant which not finding anywhere else, was for sale here at 4th Street Vine! Im definitely going back to try more $3 tastings and see if I can grab some more good bottles.

Awesome little bar in a random spot in Hayes/upper market, a block from Zuni. Great spot for meeting a few friends or a date. Good selection of wine by the glass and beers

$9.99 for a craft beer. Gross! The seating is great but you are paying for it in drink prices.
