Lomita Park

Nice park to meet up with friends and family for safe distanced get together. Clean tables, some covered, playground for kids, lots of parking and located off a major street, easy to find.

Great park to play basketball and simply to take your kids. Very nice basketball court. It’s very quiet and nice. It’s also a good park to have parties. It’s one of my favorite parks.

If you got a plan of what youre going to do at the park this place is for you. Good Jungle gyms, soccer field, baseball diamonds, bathrooms. The only downside is that there isnt a lot of open space to just get creative.

I love Lomita Park! Its a big size park with a small town feel. The workers are great and they have lighting at night, which makes it a great place to practice sports with my son!

Nice local neighborhood park, a good place to have a picnic. Quiet and tucked away. Very nice gym too! Entrance is on Eshelman Ave.

We like it. The only thing thats missing is a swing for older kids and i hope theyll take care of that soon.

Recently my daughter has started playing tennis and her and I frequent this location to use their facilities. The courts are well-maintained for public park courts, and it is usually not too difficult to find a place to play. We will continue to frequent this location and I am looking at signing my daughter up for lessons.

Its a great park aside from not having any swings... every park needs swings!

Nice small park. Many sports to sign your kids up to play. Outside basketball court recently refreshed. They have tennis courts as well.

Love this cute park. Perfect for toddlers as they learn to navigate the equipment. Safe, good shaded gazebos for picnic lunches. Nice place to socialize with other families. Great big field for running around and exercise stations to get in a work out while your kids play nearby or workout with you.

This park is very friendly. Its a little dirty but the staff is very helpful and loves playing with the kids. Not a lot of rif raf around all around a good park.

Very quiet, but active park in the middle of a residential area. Well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful

This is a bigger park with a lot to offer. Staff is friendly and they have a lot of activities you can sign up for. They have a playground for younger kids and one for older kids, a few exercise apparatuses, a baseball field, a mini soccer/football field, outdoor basketball court, outdoor tennis courts, picnic benches, gazebo areas, indoor gymnasium, and another room for classes. Theres no sand in the playground area, its rubber padding now. There is also a parking lot....one way in and one way out. There are a few handicapped spaces too.

I stopped by for the Halloween event. It was nice I would totally recommend it for the kids.

Great Park, great playground! the only thing thats missing is swings for big kids they do have a set of two swings for infants and toddlers and two separate great playgrounds for different ages. It is often very packed but we love this park!

Nice small park but good

There was a band, food vendors, city of Lomita mayor, Torrance mayor, Lawndale mayor pro tem playing load guitar, quite well I might add, and lots of games for the kids, and a fireworks display later this evening.

Spacious with a great jungle gym. Facilities appeared well kept.

Love that this park offers playgrounds for different ages. Wish they had a path to walk around the entire park (including the field). Nice flat park for bikes and roller blades and no messy sand. Yay!

I went to this park last Wednesday when I started the puppy manners class for Emma Mae, my dog, with Ethel Mercer. Its a great course and Ethel and all of her staff are superbly trained and dog loving people. The park facilities are very clean and include a bathroom, basketball court, tennis court, soccer field and play area for kids. I highly recommend visiting this park.

Love this park..! Great for birthday parties. Small but has kids play ground..bathroom...room for the kiddos to ru around and enjoy themselves but parents can still keep an eye on them

Always Aware of your surroundings

Parks and Recreation Dept has a friendly staff. Park is clean. Great place for a family event. Just reserve your Picnic area, if you plan to have an event, with enough time.

Great Park to play sports of all kinds

Of all the parks in Torrance my kids and I both really love this one even though its in Lomita technically. There are always lots of kids playing every time we come and many of them from their schools. There is no sand so they dont get sand all over themselves and the best part is there is a bike track that runs all around the park and is great for teaching your child how to ride a 2-wheeler bicycle! I highly recommend this park! We have never had anything but fun here and its nice and has updated playground equipment and the bathrooms arent bad either. The best part though and I must reiterate as the bicycle track that goes around the outskirts of the park which is fun to ride bikes for kids as well as for learning!

Park is horrible. My opinion.

Just here for nieces T-ball game, it is a decent park for kids the restrooms need cleaning but that is pretty much the same for most public parks.

Went for Halloween parade and it was a cool place for the kids.

Nice park lots of things adult and kids can do here. There is indoor basketball court, two play structure one for the little one and the other for the big kids. Theres also baseball field, soccer field and tennis court.

On Saturday Oct 19th evening with our daughter we were in the park. Some of her friends also had good time till sunset. We left around 6.30 pm. After reach home in Hawthorne we realized her scooter was left in the park. We went back but could not find it.On Sunday ( today) we called the office, The young lady who answered was very nice. She went out to look for it and then She kept our contact info. By chance any one returns, She will give us a call. Great customer service.overall park is nice and kept clean and well maintained. Even after sunset it is bright and feel safe.

Had a party here and in the hall, it was nice, weird, decent prices.

Its an ok park to go to. Parking is hard to find sometimes because its usually crowed.

This place is amazing and offers great sports programs and activities for the kids, and a really cool playground !!!
