Beautiful historic carousel, wonderfully kept, with a great band organ AND operating brass ring machine. What a great find, so glad we stopped on our way home from Indiana to PA. Not difficult to find, followed the GPS with the address given. The website has a brief history however there is more information available there, as well as items for sale which help support the carousel. If you are in the area please consider a visit, you wont be disappointed! This is living history, preservation in action.

When you reach a certain age the staples from your childhood really seem to become a figment of your imagination. My grandparents lived a couple of blocks away and my aunt would walk with us to the park to ride the carousel. Awesome to see it still here.

According to the website, the carousel was supposed to be open till 5 PM on Saturday, but after driving from Plymouth, we discovered it was not open at 4. A very nice park employee allowed us into part of the building so we could see the carousel better than from outside, but we could not get into the actual carousel area. Definitely call before you make a trip! Their website is not dependable. What we could see of the carousel looked awesome.

My wife has very fond memories of the park and especially the carousel from when she was a child at family reunions. This time was no exception as the family rented the carousel for an 80th birthday party. Even us 60 year old children rode and tried for the rings. Great fun!

A little piece of Heaven. You will not find a Dentzel Carousel just anywhere. I believe there are only three in the entire world. What makes this place magical is the rings. Grabbing a ring as you go by and trying to get the brass ring is exciting. The brass ring means you get a free ride! If you are going for the rings, sit on the outside. Only a dollar per ticket. Has a nostalgic feel.

Brought my daughter to the Carousel for the 4th of July and she loved every second of it. I was very impressed by how well maintained it was. I hope it continues to stay this way so our town can continue to enjoy this gem for many years to come.

The Carousel is a 118 antique Carousel, that kids and adults can ride for just a $1 per person. It also has a ring shoot to try to grab while on this ride. They have a bunch of silver rings but only ONE gold ring! Grab the Gold ring and exchange it for a tolen for a FREE ride or keep it as a souvenir. They are open May to September M-F 6pm to 9pm Saturday and Sundays 1pm to 9pm. They also have a train that is for children only. It also cost a $1 per child. The train runs in the weekends. The employees and volunteers are so friendly and helpful. The employees even help the kids collect the rings if they are too young or scared to reach out for them. They even book parties year around to have any celebration here. We had my sons 3rd birthday party here. The kids loved it!

The carousel is beautifully restored and maintained. The new building is a beautiful home and the carousel can be enjoyed all year. Rides are still pretty cheap and a blast! We had our whole family for a closed party and it was amazing to see 5 generations enjoying it. It has been in the park since great grandma was little and I hope that my great grandchildren will some day be able to experience the joy of getting the gold ring!

I went to the counter and let the lady know this was my first time ever visiting. I brought my 1, 2 and 4 year old children to ride, who were all very excited! The older lady at the ticket counter informed me you shouldnt be out by yourself with so many little ones. She didnt give me any options so we could ride, none of the at least 4 employees that were there was offered to assist us so all my children could ride. I had to get a lady that was there with older children to stand by 1 of mine because they were all too short to ride by themselves. Thats fine, theres rules for a reason. This height limit is no where to be found online which couldve helped prevent me going without my husband. My 1 year old lost a shoe and when I went back inside to get it. The older lady again reiterated this is why you shouldnt be out by yourself with so many little ones. She also kept trying to make me buy 6 tickets total when I only needed 5. She also didnt inform me about the rings you could grab to possibly get a free ride. I am very disappointed that my first time went so poorly, we now live here in Cass county and thought this would be a place my children and I would be welcomed and could enjoy throughout the years to come.
