Lodi Historical Society

The Halloween tour was the perfect amount of campy to scary. I would definitely recommend it. The house itself is a wonderful representation of an early 1900s farm house. If you are in Lodi check it out.

Lodi Historical Society (LHS) is not located at this address, and during the past 18 years, the LHS stole the Hill House Historical Society entity and all of the donations to the Hill House. The LHS refused to acquire the home next door when offered as a museum site, and turned down the most comprehensive historical collection of Lodi, CA, trashing and insulting Lodis greatest historian. LHS is a joke, a mockery looking to scam dues so the LHS officers can wine and dine at expensive restaurants. For years, the LHS has had nothing to do with preserving or protecting Lodis history. Hopefully, locals who love Lodi will take over this organization and reset its moral compass to do good. Any monies from the yard sales and ice cream socials just go into the pockets of the individuals involved and are not used for charitable purposes.
