1902 train station with a large number of old photos of days gone by. Small but informative. Still against the tracks so a great train watching location.

Ate here for lunch.Seat yourself. The wait staff was efficient getting our drink order when we got there. The little got a coloring page. Plenty of room to sit down and spread out.Food: Specialty Burger, really good and juicy, small side of fries. grannys favorite omelette (eggs cooked all the way through and a nice balance of stuffing) with hash browns and toast, chicken bacon ranch wrap (it was stuffed and tasted great but pretty messy, had to add the ranch) with fries, carnitas (3 soft semi hard shell tacos, black beans, pork, eggs, salsa, cilantro, w/side of hash browns) and chicken strips (real chunks of chicken hand dipped?) and a side of french fries.Overall the food was great. Had a hard time getting more than one cup of coffee out of the waitress and had to wait about 15 minutes to get her to take our card so we could pay but otherwise nice lunch.Well be back. Want to try the pie.The little got to watch a train go by, up close

Im sure this museum is wonderful . . . but the what to do in Livingston Montana websites didnt mention that the depot museum is open only in the summer. The Depots website makes that very clear, but Hubby didnt look at it. So we were there in March and it was closed. I dont know where else to post this info -- sorry about the one star. Im hoping it will help people looking at the reviews to realize that this is a summer-only attraction.

Well, its OK but not great. No engines or rolling stock, just a model of an engine. I had allowed 2 hours in my schedule but it was hard to fill 45 minutes. None the less, if you are in Livingstone, it is important to understand the significance of the railroad, and Livingstones locations connection with early Yellowstone park history.

Museum is devoted to the history of the northern Pacific. We found the various exhibits fascinating, and spent at least 45 minutes looking at everything.
