Pool is nice. Complex feels a little dated
They need to adjust the hours. Trying to decipher them is ridiculas! Trying to remember which hours on which days fir which pool is nuts. Also they should offer night swim. This is Livermore after all, and its ridiculously hot. I think more hours would be greatly appreciated for those with children and those who do not have their own pools.
We love walking to our neighborhood pool on a hot day. Its clean and has lots of shady seating. A shallower pool for the younger kids who are learning to swim and a deeper pool for the older kids to be cool. Its clean and the lifeguards are VERY attentive. I just wish it was open for more of the year.
Open 6/12-8/20. 2 large pools. Great place to take the kids to burn off some summer energy. Very inexpensive. Swim lessons are provided here as well.
My child is attending a summer swim camp at this facility with swim lessons being an included activity. The first day a parent inquired what time the swim lessons would be and only then were we told there wouldn’t be swim lessons this week (the camp is 4days mon-thurs). After some discussion, given the price of the camp included swim lessons and those were apparently not being included, it was determined the director would do the children’s swim lessons. But I had the very clear impression that, had this parent not asked about the time of the lessons, the children would not have received them and they would have not mentioned that exclusion to the rest of the parents. You can’t tell people they are paying for swim lessons and then NOT give lessons to the children! The next problem: They had a list of things to send with the children: towel, swimsuit, suntan lotion, tennis shoes with covered toes, refillable water bottle, lunch. They never listed water shoes but they need them! The bottom of their pool is UNFINISHED CONCRETE. After only one day, my child’s feet were so blistered from the rough surface of the pool, they could barely walk. I also noted their face was sunburned on the 2nd day and was told by the instructor that we needed to be sending suntan lotion and a refillable water bottle per the camp instructions. I showed them the suntan lotion and 2 refillable thermos inside my child’s bag....who doesn’t look inside a young child’s bag for the required items they think are missing? The group running the summer camp seem friendly enough and when my child was in the pool getting a swim lesson, I did feel the swimming instructor was good with the young children and kept them safe. Those are very important things. But I don’t like that a portion of the camps cost (swim lessons) was going to be excluded and not mentioned at all to the parents. That is a very dishonest thing to do. I am also highly concerned by the fact my child is blistered and sunburned because water shoes were not mentioned on the supply list and even the things that were on the supply list aren’t being looked for in a child’s bag. These are young kids under 7 yrs of age! You can’t expect them to do everything for themselves. If something seems to be missing, maybe look in the kids bag instead of just leaving them without needed things like water and suntan lotion! Or call the parent and ask? These oversights truly make me worried about the level of care being offered at a summer camp when a parent isn’t there to supervise...
So cheap, very relaxed, sweet life guards, nice kids! Just a fun place!
Love the open swim for 25 cents this summer so far. Son has a lot of fun.
Nice to visit in the summer months only 25 cent per person!
Nice place to spend those hot summer days.
Great time
