Very clean and inviting bar. Friendly bartenders & customers that seemed to be regulars were very nice and made for great conversations. Largest dog friendly back patio & most live music playing of any bar around!

I give R Place a 5 star review. This place is full of old Livermore and New Livermore. I always see someone I know and have good times. The music is awesome and Jam nights are full of amazing musicians who offer a great place to chill and socialize. They offer a positive experience of Rock n Roll and they understand their audience. I really like this venue. They have a big dance floor and a nice outdoor area. Theyre drinks are pricey. I paid $8 for a glass of wine and the bartender was not too customer friendly! I had to ask for my change from a $20 bill. He also helped people that came up after me before I finally got served. Thats why I gave 4s and not 5.

Really fun atmosphere. Always bringing in new bands and keeping it popping. Comedy open mike nights and inspirational speakers. Never had a bad evening here. Not for the younger hip hop crowd necessarily Though the staff would welcome all like family. It’s a must when in Livermore

This place is great. Phil is the best bar tender and host I have seen in years. If youre looking for a good time and want a great place to hang out, this is the place you want to be. Ask Phil about Tim and Ken... Plenty of funny stories about a night playing pool.In all serious, visit with Phil and have a great time.

They used to be good but unfortunately they no longer have live music on Thursday and Sunday. It takes forever to even get a drink... The pool tables always taken by the regulars..

Went there for the open mic Friday night and found a very cool scene. Lots of good local musicians playing their hearts out and a really cool crowd of customers who came to get down and did so. For me local music and bands are where the heart of American music really beats - you know theyre doing it for the love of it. Great bartender, cool patrons and live music + a really cool pizza joint next door. Ill be back.

Great staff . Lots of variety when it comes to quality beer . Owners and managers run a well maintained establishment! Always good people and good live music to go with your pool playing or dancing the night away on the dance floor. Overall I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time

Great place for an older crowd, my brother seems to like it, but he was dropped as a child, and when we were 8 I hit him in the head with a shovel, but still its not bad if you want to hang around people like your parents, live music is pretty good, and the bartenders know what they are doing, and the patrons are usually very pleasant. I would definitely come back, but in like 10 years, or if my brother insists, sorry folks, I liked it but its just not really for me

Nice chill vibe at this bar, usually not crowded, and Wednesday nights is Karaoke! Super fun, the DJ has a huge selection and really cares about showing people a good time! Favorite place to sing some tunes!

Skip this place completely!Me and some friends came here last Saturday night and i was not impressed at all. I wont go into much detail, but if your looking to shoot a game of pool on those nice pool tables... Forget it!Your gonna have to convenience the beer pong playing elders to play somewhere else... ( be ready for a confrontation ) or just skip this place altogether.This and a few odd looks i didnt appreciate was enough to keep me from coming back.Its such a waste, they have great tables... But maybe thats because nobody can play on them...

As a RideShare driver Id like to post a warning for other drivers of how much I would steer clear of this bar.When a request comes in and you zoom to the location and it says R- Place !!CANCEL IT!!On a scale of Good, Bad or Ugly...Ill give this R place Bar in Livermore a big UGLY!The bar will likely have over-served their patrons and youll be dealing with vomit in your vehicle.. or youll have to deal with an overly belligerent drunken individual who will cause you nothing but problems.The passengers NEVER come out on time and ALWAYS want you to take them to Jack in the Box and all us drivers know what that means... youll be cleaning up all kinds of trash and youll have greasy fingerprints all over your windows.So BEWARE of any request from R place in Livermore.

Great bar. Has live music weekly. A more mature crowd then me regularly.

Its a great place to bring your friends or hangout alone. They have live music on weekends jam sessions for anyone who wants to play and happy hour 7 days a week.

The crowd is definitely hit or miss. In many cases its an older crowd which I suppose may or may not appeal to you. Karaoke night was a lot of fun but the live bands can get a bit too loud for my taste. Bartenders were friendly.

The bartender with glasses made unwelcome homosexual advances and when rebuffed began to become agitated and started to make threats. I will never return and will be back at the good times tavern on n Livermore. who needs homo harassment at 11am?
