My friend had a wedding here and it was very beautiful. Theres a separate grassy area for the ceremony and also a tree lined area for pictures. For the reception, some of the tables were indoors and some were outdoors in a grassy area surrounded by palm trees. The venue was very accommodating considering that the place wanted us out at 8 pm and we didnt finish packing up and cleaning our stuff until around 9:30 pm.

Interesting historical home, with period appropriate furnishings right down to the wallpaper. Gift shop, pretty grounds with old winery & gazebo on property. Docent led tours with fun facts about the family who lived there and items in the home. Free parking. Nice place to take the family on a Sunday afternoon.

Im the owner of Ananda Rochita Photography. We had a beautiful time capturing Dylan and Amys wedding at the Ravenswood Historic Site. The venue is beautiful and provided so many backdrops! Everyone we worked with were so great!

Beautiful site for parties! We visited for a baby shower and enjoyed the garden in the front of the house overlooking the winery.

Pretty boring its your normal historical old house tour. In a busy area with traffic so its not very quite and always loud. Fun for the history geek but not fun for kids. Turkeys show up sometimes and thats about the best thing that happens. If your planning a trip go somewhere else.

This is a beautiful setting for everything from a family picnic to a wedding and reception. There are several historical buildings on site, and the vineyards make for a stunning backdrop year round. Make sure that the site isnt reserved if youre planning on visiting!

My daughter just got married there last month. Carol was wonderful working with us, the set up was so well done. We have always loved Ravenswood, but it was a delightful and gorgeous wedding location. Even with morning rain and cloudy skies the photos came out beautifully and everyone had such a great time. (AND it didnt rain during the ceremony or reception.) No wedding in your future? Just go out to enjoy the peaceful grounds and stately old home. They are open two Sundays a month for the public. You step back in time and stress when you enter Ravenswood.

I would never give LARPD a cent. What awful people to deal with. After calling a number of times over a solid week just to schedule this place with Carol Markie we finally got a call back. This was more than 6 months before our wedding day. 2 weeks after booking we had some unfortunate events happen in our lives were we needed to change dates. Before we even had a chance to explain we needed to change dates Carol made it clear we were not getting back our $500. No regard for our situation or even wanted to work with us. What a heartless individual and should never have a job in customer service. All they care about is the money. If you want to contribute to that go ahead and have your wedding here. Im glad writing in a date and erasing 2 weeks later is worth $500 to them. Thieves!
