The Eagles view trail is great. You get a beautiful view of Pikes peak and the surrounding area to the South. Its a pretty good payoff for a relatively easy hike (wide, well kept trails with about 800 ft of elevation gain). Because of this its a very popular spot, so expect large weekend crowds, some of whom dont follow good social distancing etiquette. Mountain bikes arent allowed, making this trail more friendly for families and any hikers who dont like it when someone on a mountain bike comes full speed around a blind corner directly at them.
Very clean and well organized which makes for a great hiking experience!
Little tucked away spot not too far from the city. Great views and not too much traffic on the south side, even on a weekend!!!!
This is my hidden gem. I come here to escape the crowds of other overused crowded trails. Perfect for kids.
Beautiful view from the top. Plenty of shade on most of the time. Elkhorn and Raven Roost are tough. Steep at times.
Love love love this open space/park. Its not necessarily about the view unless youre going to Panorama Point but who cares the trails along the river are so peaceful and serene and the fields are perfect for imbibing nature. On weekdays its quart l quiet enough to get lost only not even one hundred meters from the road.
Good hike. Good for kids. Has some shade.
Unspoiled nature, just one county west of Denver!
Trail is great. Lots of good views and some challenging terrain. Great place to go hike, run, walk or snow shoe.
Great park with a few nice trails. Crossing my fingers it doesnt get more popular
Awesome place to go and kick back with your dog
Beautiful trails great for the family!
Well kept by the park rangers. Trails are easy to moderate to difficult. Well marked.
Amazing place to hike. Gorgeous area.
A steady climb climb without a rocky tread. Great views of Pikes Peak to the south and Cathedral Spires to the west. Is a multi use trail.
Beautiful trails and views!!
This Trails offer a little bit for everyone. If you go to the left you can get into a steep grades very quickly. If you go to the ride you can Ascend very slowly still reaching the same altitude in the same beautiful views. Great settle Trails for everyone.
Great place to hike and catch up with nature. Loved going there. Looking forward to going back.
One of the best hiking areas in proximity to Denver and the front range. I go here frequently and have for the past 7 years - its basically unchanged beyond some improvements to the parking lot, which has space for horse trailer parking along with toilets.
Beautiful area.
Gorgeous hike
Nice open space park. Never as busy as others nearby (Flying J, Meyer Ranch).
Beautiful!
Beautiful trail with lovely views at the top. Moderate climb, mostly forested so youre in shade.
One of the nicer foothills hiking areas. Lots of trails to choose from and some really nice views on some.
Many people dont go here because its far away but its a lovely place
