It’s a small museum but speaks volumes of a great man. That’s how I would summarize this place. If you take your time at this museum you’ll probably spend about and hour and will have seen everything in it.They cover the full gambit of Yogi’s life from where he grew up to his career as a manager.For Yankee fans it’s a great tribute to a player who has had a tremendous impact to Yankee history. To fans of Yogi it’s a great tribute to his accomplishments and his overall character.Easy access to the building for those who are handicapped. Also a quiet atmosphere so those with sensory needs will not be distracted or impacted negatively.Parking is across the street in a commuter parking lot. They have specific signs for museum parking. And there is no cost to park.

We just happened upon this museum when my 12 year old overheard two other adults talking about things to see in the area. Just fantastic from the greeter that gave us some history to all of the history in just a few room. Well worth the visit.

I have heard of this museum but never visited. We decided to go while visiting my daughter who lives nearby. The museum is located on the campus of a university, so parking may be an issue depending on the time of the visit. The museum is small and a bit overpriced in my opinion, however there is a lot of memorabilia on display as well as a good overview of Yogi Berra. The museum does not take very long to visit. There is a bookstore inside that does sell interesting material on the life of Yogi. There are some other artifacts on display from other players that are enjoyable to see. I was most impressed with the display of his World Series Rings. This museum is great for baseball fans, but my wife who does not follow sports at all, really liked the letters to his wife Carmen and the personal information about his life. Yankee fans will love this place.

Awesome Stadium!!Great place to watch a nice ball game. Our company made arrangements to have their Employee Appreciation Day back in July 2019. Great experience there, the people was very friendly and attentive. Great food and drinks. Unfortunately a storm interrupted our game but we did have a nice dinner and get to meet new people. I would definitely go back again, I really had a nice time while there.

Many players come and go, but there were none like Yogi. This museum describes his youth, entry into baseball and his great career. Great exhibits.Dont miss the film in the mini-Yankee stadium.

The Yogi Berra Stadium is a great venue to watch a baseball game. The stadium is located on the Montclair State University campus and is convenient to routes 3, 46, 80 and the Parkway. It is the home field of the New Jersey Jackals that are in the Canadian/American Baseball Association. Its a great place to take the family. Tickets are very reasonably priced and they are always running specials with discounts on food and drinks on different days/nights of the week. During breaks between innings, the Jackals run fan contests with prizes for the participants. For a fun and inexpensive family outing, visit the Yogi Berra Stadium.

Great men deserve a great legacy. Yogi was one of a kind and both the Stadium and his museum does this justice. The interactive exhibits and the personal touches make you really take in how great a man he was outside of the game. Amazing back story and love, Yogi had such love for all his family and us fans. Choose a job you love, never work a day in your life. Yogi was the constant reminder of this. Must see for any baseball fan.

What a cool place! Yankees fans will love it. Lots of history & memorabilia. There is even a Mets corner. We went to a private event there and it was awesome!

I went with my boyfriend & his Dad and we really enjoyed it here. Although they are big baseball fans & Im not, I do have an appreciation for the game. In addition to learning about Yogi Berra, I learned about baseball, particularly the Yankees, the Mets. We were warmly welcomed by volunteers who are baseball enthusiasts who gave us an unofficial mini tour. You can request a guided tour given by others at the museum (we chose not to). There are a couple of videos worth watching, one including an interview with Yogi himself. We were there for about three hours & still didnt everything! This museum is worth a visit. It is handicap-accessible, including the ladies room. Note: we erred on the parking. We thought we parked in the area for visitors, but apparently we didnt & still arent sure where we should have put the car. We came back to find a $50 ticket on our windshield!!! OUCH!!

A Wonderful Museum dedicated to a Great Man and an amazing Yankee ball player! I recommend it to any baseball enthusiast or Yankee fan. How many MLB players have their own hall of fame? A great experience! Well done! Thank you. My son and I had a wonderful time visiting!

Amazing place to learn about baseball and share in the history of so many great players in addition to Yogi himself. My son and enjoy coming to explore the museum and attend many special events. The staff is amazing. My son is in a wheelchair and the place is wonderful to get around and look at the exhibits. We’ve been blessed to have met Yogi and now share in keeping his memory alive with our membership to the museum.

Surprisingly nice museum! Obviously smaller than Cooperstown and gives a more narrow view, but it is very well done. Theres a little theater dressed up like a ball park on the bottom floor, and several rooms of exhibits. Airy. Easy parking. Elevator for wheelchair users.Its adjacent to Yogi Berra stadium so sometimes you can catch a Can Am game after!Our library had discounted or free tickets once when we went.

Great museum dedicated to the life, career, and legacy of the great Yogi Berra. Its a small museum with a strike zone game that you can play. Awesome place for baseball fans.

First and foremost Ive been a Yankee fan for a lot of years I found the museum to be very interesting has a lot of history on Yogi Berra and the Yankees.

Wonderful experience. The volunteers could not be kinder and more passionate about the game. The premises are clean and orderly and theres some very interesting memorabilia there for people to see.

True reflection of iconic Yogi Berra and his values. Intimate feel with National flavor at the same time. Especially enjoyed the Leroy Nieman display at my last visit with my son. Convenient location overlooking the field of the NJ Jackals on campus of Montclair State University!

The museum is amazing and so are the staff. Upon entering the museum we were greeted by a wonderful man, Bill Cognan who has been volunteering at the museum since 1999. He was knowledgeable but most importantly, personable. He made our visit extremely satisfying. The topper of the the visit was the unexpected invite we received from another gentlemen who I assume was the Manger named Dave. He invited my kids and girlfriend to participate in a special presentation with Jim Abbott and Curtis Pride who spoke about overcoming obstacles. We all felt so grateful to hear their stories, it was truly inspirational.Thank you Yogi Berra museum, we wont ever forget our incredible experience.

My review is about Mr. Berra. When my father-in-law turned 80, I read that the White House will send a Burthday card. I view everything as a personal challenge and so I began my quest to see how many people/teams would send him Birthday Greetings. My father-in-law, a doctor, was the Yankee’s NUMBER ONE FAN. I wrote to the Yankee’s and they graciously sent one of thousands of prepared and stampled cards. We received the same sort of card from the Governor and Sentor at the time. It was Mr. Yogi Berra, who wrote a personal note to my father-in-law, which became one of his most prized and cherished possessions. There are leaders and then there are heros. Yogi Berra was a hero to my father-in-law, Dr. Ernest Scerbo, who is now deceased. I am not a fam of baseball, because of the game happens to bore me and the way so many players act more like children and spoiled brats. All should take lessons from some of the “old timers” like Yogi, who acted like heroes and kids would do as they did. They were people with ethics, morals and a sense of common desency and some innocence we have lost. I find this sad. Our kids grow up way too soon. Thank you Yogi for simply taking the time and writing a little note to an 80 year old man and making him a child on his 80th Birthday. Through you, we were able to give him a gift words could not express - what’s the commercial - priceless. May Gid Bless.
