Extremely clean playground perfect for kids up to 10 years old. they have enough lighting for the kids to play at night and right now they have a tiny town set up for Christmas. You can’t go in but you can look through the windows and see elves baking etc. my 3 year old loves it. The trail is quite short but it’s beautiful

Super cute outdoorsy themed playground. Plenty of place to play. A toddler area and 2 bigger kid play sections. Right next to the lake with pretty trails to walk through. Has an area to play with music chimes and bongo type drums. We had a lot of fun here.

The new turff is great and lots of padding. I just hate how many spiders are on the equipment. There was 1 that was 4 inches long. My husband put it in the woods, but the kids were avoiding that obstacle until it was gone.

Clean and new park thats a bit different. Good for ages 2-10. Very challenging climbing obstacles that push little ones to try new things and take some risks. The ground is shock absorbent and artificial turf so it makes for a great surface. A little something for everyone but really good for 3-8yrs. Totally worth a stop by to check it out. Only negative is how how hot the equipment gets in the sun because theres no shad cloth, be careful.

I really enjoy Beard park for our scouting den meetings, or just for a day of playing, and appreciate the open spaces and the playground equipment for the kids. I would like to see more covered areas, but could see that with the small space it’s hard to fit in more covered areas or even more seating. There is only one large covered area with a few picnic style tables, but other than that, there is no escaping the elements at this location. If you plan to have a party or large event, this wouldn’t be my first choice because of the limited space to accommodate a lot of people, but I do like that there are open public restrooms which isn’t always common at parks anymore. There are also water fountains for people and pets which is nice if you wanted to take your dogs here to walk/run the path behind the park.My son loves the equipment and I like that I can see him from most vantage points without being worried that he has run off. There is plenty of parking which makes it convenient to stop in on a sunny day and get in and out fairly easy.

Different and fun. I like the forest theme for the play and climbing activities. Its suitable for a wide range of ages, with different play pieces so groups can play together. Several activities that I havent seen anywhere else around here.Only downside is the proximity to a wooded area that, while it provides shade, also provides the mosquitos shady protection.Good parking and a bathroom on site is very convenient.I also really love the music creation area that stimulates the mind. Young and old can play together.

Went there to see the Christmas lights. There were a bunch of 6ft home exstension cords run together. The cords were left exposed so people were walking on them, which sooner or later the covering is going to break. Not to mention most of the ends of the cords were left exposed also. With the rain and damp weather this is very dangerous exposed wiring and water. Hard to believe someone approved this project.
