Of course we had a wonderful time enjoyed great music of our Choice and painted our little hearts away! My friends hosted my birthday party at Spiked Paint. The location is very convenient to where I live, located less than a mile off of I20. Spiked Paint allowed my friends to bring in food and decoration to celebrate this occasion. The host provided us with music to enjoy while painting. The atmosphere was comfortable and inspiring with lots of different painting ideas to choose. They lady that was giving class was fun and upbeat and kept everyone engaged. She made sure that we all had fun while we painted. I enjoyed my birthday there and will return on other occasions!

I stopped by Spiked Paint, just to see what it was all about, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The owner is amazing, knows her craft, is friendly, outgoing & loves helping others. I definitely recommend THIS place to ALL! You WILL have a great time, laughing & learning with friends, family or have an opportunity to meet new people. I definitely give Spiked Paint FIVE stars for sure!!

I was invited to a Girls Night Out at Spiked Paint. I had a great time! Twana was extremely helpful, patient and encouraging throughout the night all while constructively critiquing and helping us become better painters. She allowed our own music, food and drinks which was great because we decided the vibe. I had a really pretty outcome for my painting. I would return!

We had my grandmas 72nd birthday party here and it was wonderful!! Everyone had such a great time and the paintings were great. I’d definitely recommend people to come back. She was very sweet and definitely on point! Everything was great. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Me and My lady went there for the Valentine date night. I must say it was so nice, and comfortable. The owner was amazing, even the patrons were amazing as well. I really loved the atmosphere, I will be visiting more often than just holidays. The price point it just right for the experience. I think I found me a new hobby!!

My mom birthday was on Tuesday 8/4. I wanted to do something nice for her that didn’t require being around too many people....with Rona going on. I wanted to keep it intimate with her, her daughters and grand daughters. Well I came across Tawanna’s spot on google and after reading all her amazing reviews? I was sold...so I reached out to her for more info. After speaking with Tawanna, it was no doubt this was the perfect place to go. First of all her personality is definitely fitting for what she does. The customer service was amazing! When I first spoke to her...it was like we had been knowing each other for the longest lol. She has such a sweet spirit! And did I mention...IT’S BLACK OWNED!!!! Please support this amazing business. Thank you Tawanna for making our experience (and my moms first painting experience) one time remember! You are amazing!! ️️️

Spiked Paint is a hidden jewel in West Atlanta. I came for a sip and paint event with girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. The owner, Tawana, was cordial and knowledgeable and helped us to really tap into our creative side. I also think the wine helped some too. I toatally recommend this venue. Ive since returned and hosted a fundraiser there with ultimate success.

Lovedddddd my experience. I took a group of kids both girls and boys the instructor was very accommodating and made it sooooo fun for the kids by having the boys vs girls challenge. The kids loved it. I recommend anyone who wants their kids to have interest in something other than a cell phone to schedule some fun paint time here. Super fun for all ages!!!!

Just celebrated my 35th Birthday and Tawana was great. The atmosphere was perfect there are a wide range of painting to choose from. Tawana was able to accommodate not only the adults that attended but my teenage daughter. We will most definitely return for other events.

I booked this spot for a date night. The atmosphere and instructor was DOPE. We enjoyed ourselves and full of laughter the entire time. I will definitely make this a frequent thing to go for date night.

I recently attended a sip and paint baby shower at this location and had the time of my life!!! Management made sure the event flowed perfectly and had a wide variety of color palettes to choose from. I have never painted a day in my life and came home thinking I was Picasso! lol The music kept the vibe going and management did a great job of engaging the guests. I will be booking this venue for my own upcoming event very soon!!!

I’ve been to two different events (one for BYOB and took my son and a friend). And both were AMAZING, fun, great vibes, very in-tune with her customers and patient with us who can’t draw a lick(LOL)...I will definitely be back for different events.

I booked a party of 12 with this company and an amazing time. The lady name Tawana was very professional and nice. She is a very outgoing person and definitely made us laugh and feel like we had been there before. I would definitely come back and would recommend Spiked Paint to others.

Amazing place to just relax and chill while you paint rather it’s a date or with a few friends. The customer service was exceptional not to mention the price to paint is great and affordable.

I attended this venue with a group and was greatly disappointed. The lack of customer service was unbelievable. Although the concept is great this young lady truly missed what it is to be a great business person and provide top notch service. She was rude instantly and in her mind she felt as though she was being professional. Unbeknownst to her, she sadly missed the mark on this as well. She was very snappy and confrontational. She slaughtered her attempt to correct her bad attitude by displaying a condescending attitude. It only went downhill from there. I totally agree with the prior post stating I will not reward bad manners with my hard earned dollars. People traveled really far to patronize this business only to receive extremely bad customer service. She really deserves no star however I have to give at least one. Again, so disappointed and quite sad. What is really sad is that I do not think she realizes how powerful word-of-mouth is. I will ensure that ALL of my family, friends, business partners, etc will not make the huge mistake I made by patronizing Spiked Paint.

Fun, stylish paint studio for adults or kids. You pick your own pre- sketched canvas and there are so many great ones to choose from. I came with four of my girl friends for a girls night out. We brought own alcohol and the the owner allowed us to plug in our own music. It was nothing less than a GREAT time. I had soooo much fun!

The only reason Im giving this place a 2 is because the location was great, but thats where it ends! She was very nice in the beginning, and then something changed. She started fussing telling us dont be asking for paint that youre not going to use, thats inconsiderate. At this point we had just sat down and didnt even know what colors we were going to use. We were all looking at each other, totally confused. Unlike other places, they provided full detailed instructions and were very attentive. We were left to figure things out on our own. She only checked on us when we asked for paint. And when we did, she would have an attitude and ask us why did we need it and why cant we share. She even took another persons palette to give some of their paint to someone else. Also, I paid for a private party but in comes 4 strangers, thats when I was done! When I asked about the extra people, she lied and said I told you 3 might show up. I didnt want to make them feel bad or cause a scene, because they were innocent, she was the one who lied. I just saw she posted she would be giving sessions at the same time as my event. Had I known it wouldnt be private, I wouldnt have paid the few extra dollars, which wasnt expensive but its the principal of being professional. All of my guest complained on how rude and unprofessional she was to them. I thought this would be a great place to celebrate my birthday with family and friends, but I was completely wrong. I normally dont give reviews, but the way we were treated was unacceptable!

It has taken me a while to write this review because I really try to support small businesses but my guests and my experience was very unlike the newer reviews and very similar to the older reviews for Spiked Paint. My friend and I had a joint birthday party there a month ago. While we had a good time, the business needs some work. I hope that the business owner may take this as constructive criticism and make needed imrovements. The positives of Spiked Paint is that it is in a good location, the concept is fun because you can bring your own drinks, food, and music preference, and the owner Tawana was very responsive to our questions before the event. Also, I personally liked the pre-outlined canvas which was different from my previous experience. Now the cons - my friend told me that the owner arrived late which gave her very little time to set up. When the guests arrived and Tawana started to give out paint, she was kind of short and abrasive with anyone asking questions about what colors to get. We arent artists so we needed some guidance and it became quickly apparent that she was not the one to ask for help of any kind. Everyone got a little paint in holders and she was very concerned about us wasting her paint. She also only gave each person one paint brush. She then attempted to lead us through painting the background but couldnt or wouldnt give help on how to mix colors to get color shades we wanted. As we worked on, we realized we needed smaller brushes but none were given and very little direction was given. In my past experience at a similar place, the instructor was very helpful in every aspect of the painting especially helping us personalize our paintings. At Spiked, we instead had to rely on the artistic friends among us to help with basics like shading and to share paint as some of my guest (come to find out later) were afraid to ask for more. After Tawana accidentally spilled paint on my canvas and could offer no more assistance than handing me a napkin, I realized she wasnt an artist at all and just owns a paint and sip place but is trying to lead the session herself. The take away from us is that she needs to hire an artist or art teacher to host her parties. We had a good time anyway because food and alcohol but after polling my guests, everyones experience with Tawana left much to be desired.

I went there with a group of women. I instantly didnt like the owner, very rude, curt and brash. I decided, against my better judgement, to stay for the group. It is safe to say that I will not visit Spiked Paint again. I will not reward bad manners with my hard earned dollars.

I wish we had been told in advance about the credit card surcharge and the canvas size/pricing. There needed to be more instruction given for the painting. We made to best of it but, it was somewhat disappointing.

Customer service was horrible with owner VERY unprofessional, no courtesy, no respect for customers.I would not recommend to patronize this business to any of my friends!

Owner was rude with major attitude, she gave no direction when I arrived. I guess it was a daycare because there was a minor in the establishment and the restroom was dirty with rocks in the sink. Differently will not be returning. I hate that I have to give this place even one star.
