Amazing ceramic studio with great teachers! I highly recommend taking a class!

A bright studio space with a great collective of talented artists. An excellent place to let your creative juices flow. Also has a gallery and shop attached for viewing and purchases.

Been looking for a place to use a pottery wheel for awhile now and finally found ClaySpace. Took a short 2 hr intro class with my wife and it was a lot of fun. Started out making a small dish out of a slab of clay and then got to use the pottery wheel. Marie was a great instructor and gave everyone the help they needed based on experience. I’m planning on signing up for a class and going back. Other artists where there working and it was cool to see the different projects they were working on and they were all very nice.

We received a wonderful introduction to ClaySpace this weekend. Marie walked us through making a mug and allowed us to practice throwing on the pottery wheel. This not-for-profit is a hidden gem.

Great talent within the walls.

Just did an intro class with my 12y/o daughter and we had a good time. We did a basic plate/tray type project out of a rolled flattened piece of clay that we will pick up in a couple weeks after it is glazed and fired. Then we got to try the pottery wheels for about a half hour which was fun. Overall a nice experience and the staff were pleasant and helpful. A fair number of other artists there working on their own projects, must have been members, so its not like we had the place to ourselves. I would for sure recommend this place though.

ClaySpace is an amazing place to explore your creative side. A wide variety of classes are available in ceramics and glass, for all experience levels. Serious potters will enjoy the Resident Artist opportunity, and being part of a creative and talented community where they can continue to learn and grow artistically. They will also enjoy the top-notch studio facility. People that have never touched clay will appreciate the encouragement that they receive as they explore this new medium in one of the classes, and the delight of creating something beautiful.

Took an intro class, loved it

Im signing up for my second session of classes because the facility is amazing and the instructor i have is wonderful. Its a great place to share with others to get inspired by. If your looking to work with clay for the first time or have been for years youll love it. There is a gallery and special events here too. I recently participated in a Raku firing. I was so excited to see this place existed that I wanted to become a resident artist right away, though there is a waitlist right now.

Excellent facilities and teachers with a welcoming community.
