Really nice park to go to. It has a great turf sporting field, has nice basketball courts and a great gated kids playground. Great in the summer with the beach and splash park. My kids usually have a nice party here with their baseball team when the season is over. There’s picnic tables and you can barbecue. There’s also a fitness park on the beach with different machines to do exercises on.

Beautiful place to spend holiday with your family. You will find here everything you need: playground, beautiful beach, soccer, football, basketball, tennis fields. Also, there is a place to make a barbecue behind the one of the fields. I would recommend this place to anyone who looking for amazing adventures.

Its a beautiful venue on the water they have a bar.. Theres music and dancing.. people are socially distancing and the food is good. Light menu. Hamburger. Hotdogs. Mac and cheese bits veggie burgers. Fried.

After 5:30 free parking and music playing all throughout the evening just bring a chair or if youre lucky get a seat. The kids during the day have the water Park. No extra fee. And there is so much to do. The playground, fields basketball or any sport and the boat basin.If you are so inclined have a picnic on the beach.

A nice place to visit but I did not like that weekdays also required a town/county permit. Why? There is a restaurant on site. Why would anyone need a permit to come eat? Dumb. And sadly, the beach is more like dirt. Not like Robert Moses or Jones Beach. It does have a nice play area for kids. If you have the time, Id just head out to another location. But, this beach will saftisfy children, boaters, and easily pleased people that dont mind rocks in the beach sand.

Pros: Generally not too crowded, food and drinks right there for you to indulge in, easy access, spray park for the kids, actually park which is pretty nice. Must be fairly new. Nighttime music at the bar after the beach is closed. Cons: Rocks, shells and seaweed. Yes these are normal things you will find at any Beach but not in this amount.

Nice to go to relax all year round, whether running, walking or just sitting . The live bands all summer are usually good. There are bbqs by the benches too.

My son lives playing here. They take great care of the field and make it a great game for the kids. Wish the concession was available more often, but when it is the staff are always friendly and helpful.

One of my favorite places to go for over 30 years. Considering proximity to the main road. You get a beach, park, tennis courts, unload your boat, playground, basketball court, a restaurant for great food and drinks. My only problem with this area is the sand is a little to rocky for my taste and remember you are still in the bay regarding the water.

Small beach but not to crowded. Nice water park for the kids. Food and drinks were good albeit a little pricey. Music nightly during summer with outside dance floor and tables.

Me and my best friend were chilling at the shore and without a warning to leave and no one gave a single warning so we got trapped here with the gate along with other people. Messed up.

My grandchildren love the playground. I like it because its fenced. The beach is always clean.

Katch is the bar and restaurant at the beach. Music every weekend. Great place.

The beach has some cool things around, playground, splash pad and a little place to eat. But its not a beautiful beach, also bc of the rocks and pabbles it can be uncomfortable walking into the water

It is a multi purpose park with lots of features for different age groups. Theres a playground with climbing equipment, a beach, and a cute splash park for the little ones. I was there to take my grandson to the soccer field for a weeks worth of soccer camp.

Katch was fantastic! Great food selection for whats essentially a beach concession stand, beautiful back patio, and delicious frozen drinks. It was raining when we went, so the bar area was quite crowded with everyone trying to stay dry, but my friends and I had no trouble getting a spot and still enjoyed ourselves. Great view of the causeway to Robert Moses and good size playground if you have kids. Beach area is small.

Great place to visit for the day with the family. The beach is great with a small swimming area but the splash pad was a favorite of the kids! Plenty of parking and even a spot to buy food and drinks as well!

Word to the wise: you may be unable to swim off the beach due to bacteria levels in the bay. You can still sit on the beach, though. They recently added a big outdoor seating area off the beach shack. Splash park is good for younger kids - older than 6/7/8 may get bored. Only town residents with a beach pass can enter.

Great fantastic band! Touch the 80s is by far the best 80s band out there right now!!! Thats why I came out. Need more food choices. Not disappointed. Please book them for 2020 alot!!!

This place is a great place to visit. There is a great playground for kids. The sports fields are excellent. The summer scene and water spray park is another great reason to come. Theres something for everyone here. Enjoy music, food and drink. You can always catch a game to watch if thats what interests you. The bathrooms are almost always open which is another good thing. Parking can get scarce at night time during the summer. This place however, is crazy cold until summer really kicks in. You can always expect very high wind.

Nice little park with interesting things to do as you stroll through. (Or jog or bike). You can also go kayaking or paddleboarding if the water is your pleasure. Did see a few people fishing there but personally wouldnt eat fish from the lake based on the water quality signs I saw posted.

Great Hidden Gem in Lindenhurst. Great atmosphere and can you very busy in the evenings with the live music. But an awesome night itll be had when visiting. The food is pretty good 4 a beachfront Shack. You can sit at the tables provided as long as youre purchasing something, the outdoor is Nice. Why you can bring your own folding chairs and cooler and just sit and listen to the music on the beach or the lawn.

My old memories,, I love sitting at the end of Welwood Ave and just watch the water. Visiting here from Florida and everything looks exactly as I left it 4 years ago. Miss my old neighborhood.

Beautiful place to spend some time down by the water listing to live music. Unfortunately the food is not only overpriced but terrible, drinks and bar service not much better. I tried to order a hot dog and the server told me 8 dollars. Really, had the fish tacos 15 dollars tasted terrible were tiny and empty! Katch owners you can do better. I am a long time resident and most of the people I know feel the same way.

One of the coolest places in Lindenhurst love it, my daughter and I come here all the time. My only complaint would have to be the bathroom they should definitely get some ventilation in there.

The scenery and Ambience are great as well as the drinks. As for the food do not go crazy because it is not a place for a sit-down dinner it is for catching a bite at the beach very simple is best.

If you are interested in a rocky sand mixture beach, it’s a nice place to grab a tan.A group of basketball hoops and tennis courts are to the right when you have entered the park. The same can be said about the kiddie park, and public restrooms.If you have a moderate or smaller size water vessel, there’s a dock that is available for free use—on a first come first serve basis.Fishing is a no go. The bay is dead in the area, anyway. Fish here, and prepare to be scoffed. You would have an equal chance of catching a fish on your front lawn as you would have here. OK, so you get the message.

Very clean park with amazing views.This place is a hidden gem. Here for the fields but will be back for the beach. Restaurant and bar located right on the Great South Bay.

Live music every night makes this a popular destination for residents and non-residents alike. Newly renovated with a huge bar and food offerings, its a quick ride for TOB residents. Beware, its rocky in the sand, so be prepared.

Love Venetian. The water splash park is open until 6pm in the summer. After 5pm, theres no fee to enter.

Small swimming area with a SERVE YOURSELF food area. The management staff is probably on summer break!! Not a good place for someone over 25 on a weekend.
