Lincoln Theatre Guild

Took the wife and kids to Smoke on the Mountain. It was a great show. we sat in the balcony and had a great view of the stage. Cant wait to see the next show. Tickets were a little pricey but it was a good show nonetheless.

My daughters school held an art awards ceremony here! Lincoln county did an amazing job displaying and recognizing the many students chosen and awarding them at the guild in a special ceremony.

Starting your season with Sons of Serendip was absolutely brilliant. We hope you could make this happen again. Loved the intimate atmosphere and the audio quality of the venue and ticket price. The ONLY downside was it was hot. Did you guys decide not to turn the AC at all?

Supporting our community is part of being in a community.Not the most comfortable seating and refreshments could always be better but at the low ticket cost, the math makes since. The old feeling you get from the theater itself is enough to come see and experience.

We went to see Rocky Horror Picture show. They did an amazing job and we all had a lot of laughs. These people work hard to entertain you and put on a great show. I give them praise for their hard work, it shows in the sets, performance and costumes! Great job guys! Go support the arts!!!

From place to musicals even dancing with the stars have head shows hear the most recent show was beauty and the beast and they have church on Sundays at this location it’s a very unique place with a painted cathedral ceiling you can host family reunions by renting out the room downstairs is the most beautiful place to be in

Lovely facility. It has been part of my childhood and adulthood. I have gone there for art lessons, weddings, plays, volunteering, public forums, and parties. It is a great location for large events, except that there is not a lot of parking.

Great Meeting For SCV Commander In Chief!!!

Recently attended a play there and saw rock of ages, was one of the best plays I have seen in a while. The cast was awesome, all brilliantly talented!! I loved how they kept the audience engaged. Cant wait to go back and see the next one!

Great community built through this organization. Amazing quality of productions for a great price. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.

Troubles with sound system and curtains, seats quite crowded with knees hitting seat in front. The kids production itself was good, though.

Tonght was the LHS Talent Show. It was a show rich in talent. I had a blast watching and listening to the group of young adults display their various styles of talent. Had a fabulous time and proud of my niece who participated, WTG Ashley Logan!!!

Its the actors and the stage crew that make the magic!

Nice venue, much nicer than the sub par Lincoln Charter High Orchestra. Its a converted church and some of the features in the auditorium are falling apart.

Lincolnton is full of so many talented people. Im proud to call it my home town and really enjoy our many festivals as well as theater productions and musicals that are put on and star amazing local residents.

Sad just beware of getting beware of being back stabbed. By People on the board or other helpers or actors. If you are not in the click might get turned in to D.S.S. Just know you will come out on top. Light will shine on the dark. Loved treatment when the older people over it amazing and fair they cared deeply about everyone no favorites. 5 stars for all shows and if I did not care would not be a Angel sponsor. I really Appreciate Paige Rice love her she called to talk with me about my review she did not know what had happened and our hearts broken so I will raise the score because I have been a part of the L.T.G. when I was little. Then to see my son smile made me feel amazing. If there are problems really need to come talk with the person I did not deserve what someone did. It put my son into tears and us both in shock. The case was closed nothing found on me. Greatful yet uncalled for I have gone above and beyond supporting the L.T.G. There are people there I love. Yet haters as well just do not know the truth of who and why D.S.S. could not tell who turned me except someone a member of the L.T.G. broke my heart not to include a child. I have support my child in all he want to do and be. I vouluteering was a joy. Felt a place anyone could fit in. Thanks Paige again..Love you. Talking things out works the best. Communication is everything. Can not change what you do not know. Greatful forever Patsys Cashion 5 stars and Page 5 Stars. Other yet would take 2 long. Says alot about Paige Rice to check on us and care. I would not have gotten my child involved in something I believe in and the Arts have been my everything.

The first (and only) time we went they were doing Rock of Ages. While Im sure the acting was good and the singing was ok we couldnt see anything. Sitting on the sides of the balcony you could barely see the stage. Ive been in theater and know they could have taken that into consideration and at least pretended to care that the balcony seats existed. You could see a pretty good portion of the middle of the stage (and the far side from where you were sitting) but they CONSTANTLY had very very important scenes happening completely off to the side. The sound system for the balcony was also neglected as it was a type of stereo sound (when someone is standing to the left those speakers are louder and vice versa) so if someone was standing away from us we couldnt make out what they were saying. And, while I know Rock of Ages is a rock and roll play, the music was INSANELY loud...to the point where you couldnt hear the singers and when we left we couldnt hear ourselves talking. The poor actors blew their voices out trying to sing over the band (which tells me they never practice with the band and didnt learn how to properly sing at that volume) all in all just a very untrained group.TL;DR sit in the floor seats
