A different variety of slot machines. Lots of card tables. Their food court is good when they are open. Theres a Fatburger, Subway, Pizza Hut, Panda Express, and Ben n Jerrys ice cream. The Thunder Cafe is better.. Prices are reasonable. Good times and good eats!..

My wife and I enjoy staying here and love the amenities from their pool area to casino gaming & night life. Staff is always On Pointe and their Security is air tight.I cant say enough about all the fun we enjoy having at Thunder Valley.

Not much to review about places during this pandemic, but I like Thunder Valley. Variety of slot machines and areas throughout the casino. You can still purchase alcohol as well. .. unfortunately, I never win here. .. dont let that discourage you though, I have a lot of friends who win, guess Im just not lucky. :(

Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Most comfortable beds and pillows ever! Very nice staff at check in and housekeeping. Already decorated for Christmas- a bit too soon but beautifully decorated! Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is having to walk through the casino. Needs a better ventilation system and this time the people at the casino were all a bit sketchy.

Simply Amazing! Thunder Valley Casino Resort was more than I could have expected. To start the trip we arrived way to earlier than expected after a long drive. They checked us in with no questions at 8 am in the morning! So we were able to go straight to the room and get some sleep before hitting up the casino. The casino was great and I found to pay out well. The restaurants were exceptional! The steak house was so good! I had a huge 36oz Prime Rib that was to die for. I will only stay at Thunder Valley anytime I visit the area again. Thanks Thunder Valley for the great time for the 3 nights I stayed every employee was very nice and helpful!

My husband and I come here a lot. He is an Elite level and I am a platinum almost elite level member. Some of the hosts are great (Greg is the best he really understands what good customer service is), however, some of their other staff treat you like you are nothing important. My husband won $2k on a machine and either someone pick-pocketed him or he somehow dropped it. You would think that such a big casino would have the most amazing security cameras and would find it important to protect their VIP guests- come to find out they don’t care much about your safety. They said their cameras are there to watch the machines and to protect the casino. Ok cool but surely they could watch my husband walk out to the car and see if someone took his money. Another thing that happened was we had a $500 voucher and put it in a machine and the machine didn’t process it correctly so the staff just told us they would look into it but pretty much we were out of luck. I don’t know how this could even happen and why they couldn’t recall the last few tickets we put in the machine.It sucks that situations like this constantly happen at this casino because it is a nice, big casino and it has lots of the newest slots and a large number of each one so you can find a machine to play on unlike some of the other nearby casinos . And although you can lose a lot here you also have the opportunity of hitting big hand pay wins . At red hawk I very rarely win and definitely rarely see them handing out hand pays, but at Thunder Valley you can constantly see people winning big. Just if you do win big be extra careful and make sure no one steals it from you, cos if they do security won’t be able to help you get it back.

From what Ive seen so far this place is cool. I have loved on Vegas my whole life so am spoiled when it comes to a casino. This place has all the bells and whistles. Even the ONE game Ill play.

I like to go to Thunder Cafe! Brandon is the best waiter there. Great attitude and quick service. I also like the remodeled hotel rooms they are very inviting.

If youre going there to have fun you will. If you go in there to make money you wont. a mask is required but smoking is permitted.

ASK FOR LAURA IF YOURE GETTING A MASSAGE. What an awesome experience! I told her it was my first time getting a a massage in my life, and she was so warm and inviting! Very informative the entire way through the process, and the rest of the staff is as well! They’re all kind, and the atmosphere is the true movie spa experience. I tried to communicate with Laura as much as possible about where my body hurt before and during the massage and she made sure to pay more attention to those areas, as well as showing me other parts of my body that were in stress that I didn’t recognize, cause it didn’t hurt as much as the other parts (the premium blend is a head to toe massage) and now I know to start stretching more often, and what stretches my body needs me to pay attention. Just be kind, talk to the staff and treat them the way you’d want someone to treat you at your job, and you’ll get the same energy back and have a fantastic time. Oh, and the showers come with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash- as well as a lavish shower spray that you have to try! Don’t bring anything but yourself, your wallet, and your ID for the pool side bar after your massage! Steam room is also awesome!

Buffet is unquestionably the best, it has to be considering that people stack their plates up so high it could be a sky slop. Unbelievable, cant eat enough to just enjoy one little moderate meal than stack it so high geologist would think that it would be a new land mass. Very well clean and the service (Bill Clinton thumbs up) the hosts are very awesome . Have fun and eat smart theres lots to enjoy.

Nice place to relax, have a meal at one of the many restaurants, smoking and non smoking areas at a tribal casino up high 65 from interstate 80. Also, they have a hotel ready and waiting for you and your guests.

Thunder valley what can I say that is good? That there are a handful of some hot cocktail waitresses there. There was the good part. The main part is the music they play even Helen Keller couldnt take it. And the amount of individuals that are on that Hitler drug and acting like extras on the walking dead, picking up every .5 or .10 cent voucher all night long. It is a nice casino but wow you have to crack down ( crack ) on the amount of these people regardless of what you think is fair or not. Its sad to be there to spend money when you only watch these peoples actions instead..The amount of working women need to be upgraded and not let in the section 8 girls. There is a lot of change but change that horrible music selection first please..

Always have a good time playing at Thunder Valley. I dont always win but when I do its always great...I always limit myself to what Im willing to pay for any entertainment ( like I would going to the theater or out to dinner) and its always a ton of fun especially if you walk out with a win.

If you can avoid going there do so almost no safety precautions are taken they dont take your temperature or even enforce the mass policy I informed a employee someone didnt have on their masks they shooed me away. Enter at your own risk and they are not paying well these days to boot.

Very clean, lots of slots, big casino thin chances of winning. Free play money was difficult to use. Didnt end up using it even after asking for help it still didnt work. Bartenders are really nice. Would I come back ? Ehh I would recommend people though.

For the past two nights, I visited the High limits. I asked scv lady for a Redbull, she ask me for a card...as much as I have visited the High limits and losing a lot of money, Ive never been asked to see my card. Furious that she she said I suggested that I could buy it. All the money I played, your casino couldnt afford to give me 1 Redbull, as you always done before when I visited? And yes I am a black woman and the svc person was young white girl, she made me feel like I didnt belong there

First off this is the FIRST TIME visiting this casino.not impressed at all. If I could I would give no stars. I go to try to get a players card like you do to any casino they wouldnt give me one due to my licence expired in which I already have new on arriving in the mail anytime. So what I said other casinos have given me a players card with my license expired because of the covid thing.... This casino is by far the best casino in California. There are machines all over the place. There are lots of places to eat, bathrooms, huge bar in the middle. There are multiple atm / ticket redemption machines through out the casino. You do have to wear the ungodly masks, but if your a smoker, u can take it off. :)

Was able to get a beverage and that normally never happens with a waitress. However, several machines were down and the slot ambassador seemed put out by our request to turn 2 on and gave some BS excuse as to why they were down, turned on our service lights and for over an hour mine was on in need of change and we finally said forget it and just left. Weve had these same issues several times and nothing seems to ever improve no matter how many comment cards you fill out. They do have a guy with a caddy of cleaner that he doesnt use wondering around demanding you put on your mask as youre in the middle of taking a drink. They do a great job of making guest feel uncomfortable but cant get someone in an hours time to give you change. Great place if you like stagnant cigarette air with no good circulation or feeling like a burden to the people that are hired to assist you. I go there because its a little closer than others but I think Hard Rock might be getting our business as the air is cleaner and the staff is friendly.

Lost $500 within 15 minutes getting into the casino betting on $5 per spin machine more than once. No free game or nothing. Just eats cash without paying back. Ive never been to casino that doesnt pay as much or at least lets me play for a while for bringing $500 to play. I walked away from the chair my backpack was on. Came back and it was gone. Turns out security found it but after 30 minutes of being harassed, asked for my ID and my player card the guy had my bag at his feet the entire time. All my scratchers were gone out of it along with a few more items. Dont trust security there. At! All!

Stayed for a night since we were gambling. Got into their fun bingo game. All electronic so great with the novice player (we have never played before). Room were great with large tub and separate shower. Bed was awesome with pillows to die for. AC was cold and it was really hot outside.Buffet had a good variety just look out for special nights. Line was not bad since we were there early. There are also other eateries in the casino itself.

Its a cool place to go just to do something but its not anything spectacular. The food at the cafe was good, the dessert not so much, it was just a frozen cake that was put out to thaw. Kind of just the average casino to me!

Well for being a non-smoker of 10 years I go to the casino I couldnt stand the smell it smells so bad I couldnt even be in the building plus plus we ate at thunder Cafe and the meat sandwich Dip was awful I couldnt even eat the rest I spent 13 bucks and I threw the rest away if this place was a non-smoking place it would have been much healthier and better for everybodys lives I dont think Ill ever come back

I like it. You win some and you lose some game of chance. The staff are nice. The only complaint I have here is I hardly ever see a waitress when Im playing the slots. When i turn on the service button on the slot machine takes 20 to 30 minutes for the waitress to come,. I always have to cash out of the slot machines im playing to go to the bar to get me a drink and by the time I get back to play the slot machine i was at, its already taken

Very huge casino. Exciting place to play very friendly and attentive staff. Smoke can be a little bit overwhelming for nonsmokers but there is a non smoking area. Ive lost more than I expected but the worst part is that the kind of people who are going on a regular basis are weirdos. I foolishly dropped my Galaxy note 9 and some tweek picked it up and kept it. Definitely lost more than the cash I spent in there with the loss of my phone

The rooms are pretty suite. Haha hehe. No but they are generous with comps and very outgoing happy hosts. Slots are tighter than a magazine through the return mail box. If youre in the area its worth it to stop and check out the exquisite design and decor. But I say this with the most humbled tone, you have a better chance hitting the side of a barn with a 2x4. An awesome place to hang out. I went for the buffet and to my surprise, it was AMAZING! The food was delicious and the variety was vast.I decided to play the slots for an hour and won $542.63 on a progressive machine.Lets just say.... Ill be back.

The casino & hotel are beautiful no doubt, however the fact that no one is social distancing and not much is happening to enforce it. Every slot and table is full with people shoulder to shoulder. No one cares to wear masks and practice safe protocol. I wont be returning any time soon. Its a petri dish for coronavirus.

Nice OPEN casino & resort full of machines. And the best part for me is.... Its not overly packed and filled with smoke like most other casinos. I can actually walk around the entire place and BREATHE!!! Lol.. food is great. They have a pretty good variety. As they should since this doubles as a resort. Pay outs here are pretty decent as well. Definitely keeps you busy and going.
