Both my kids love this place. Very well organized and super amazing friendly staff. Hours definitely work for parents who work as well. Definitely recommend Calvert rec center.

I go there often and play pickleball. Very fun and everyone is friendly.

Anytime you get to watch the grandkids play a sport its special.

Attended a Graduation party here. Good clean facility and kids had fun.

Excellent preschool program, great after-school care and community resource center.

I usually play Pickleball on Saturday afternoon here. People are very friendly, and the facility is very well kept. Recommended!

I want to start by saying this place was my life until, well, 4th grade. This place was my 2nd home and now i really want everyone else to enjoy it too! I miss the old staff, especially... Aras, Dusty, Nick, Lindsey, Amy, Mr Waters, Maddie, Brooklyn, and 1 of the new staff, Amber. they made the rec center the most wonderful place you could imagine! they sang songs every now and then, played FRIDAY, schmero, jailbreak, Dr war ball almost everyday but it was an amazing time. But i still and will always remember when there was a staff named Sam, me and a group of friends were in the sand/gravel and i was like, hey, i kinda miss the old staffs so Emily said lets sing the bubble gum song. but then Sam came over and said, girls please dont sing. We all hugged each other and Aida? started to cry but only little tears came out. Here is my idea to make the rec center greater than it ever was. Try to get in contact with the staff and try to get some back? Also please keep singing the songs and playing our old and fun games.We really enjoyed it. Some 7th and 8th graders came up to me and my group of friends and asked, you guys were at Calvert right? then they asked us if Aras was still there. No offense to ANY STAFF MEMBERS. They take time off of college/etc to come to the rec. I just want everyone else to feel like the rec is their second home.
