Comfortable. Not the rocker recliners found at some theaters- but those theaters also charge $3 more. Plus here you get a little history and charm which is rare.

Love going to the Lincoln theater. Its a family tradition when a new Starwars movie comes out. There was fourteen people in our group and staff accommodated us wonderfully to make sure we were able to sit together. The theater is clean. The snacks were good. I always stuff myself on their popcorn. Watching the movie itself was great the quality and sound were excellent. I would definitely recommend this theater to other people. May the force be with you.

Newly renovated and privately owned, the prices are far better than the corporate mega-cinemas. The staff are friendly and helpful. Give Lincoln Grand 8 a chance - youll be back!

Took my daughter to see frozen II! we both loved the movie but this theater has very nice staff and is so beautiful inside that it is enough to start conversations with. also the popcorn is always so delicious!!

I was very impressed with the renovation of our movie theater. It is beautiful inside, and the chairs are wonderful of course the staff is is the best and the friendliest and very customer oriented. I really enjoyed the seating can you publish a picture of Marilyn the owner as I don’t believe I’ve ever seen her or met her, but she deserves lots of thanks for what she’s done for our community!

Best Theater in LIncoln. Friendly Service and clean bathrooms. Seats are good compared to the high end theaters these days, but above average.

The chairs I hate. They tip back no matter how you try not to. I am short and my legs go to sleep because they dont touch the floor. Its a little loud. Blared you out sometimes. Otherwise they are clean. Workers are pleasant.

I love watchin movies here. Seats are comfortable. Cost about $25 for 2 people that includes drinks and popcorn. They also have $5 Tuesdays

Good seats. Theatre not packed. However, the butter is $0.50 (had to come back for extra) and not very flavorful. Popcorn tasted old.

Love the place as a whole, but new manager and yes maam get the new movies, would love to see us together as a community

Beautiful decor inside. The seats were so comfortable loved the high backs.

A lot of movie times to pick from so we went early wasnt so crowded.

The staff was friendly and amicable when hosting an event. They were transparent regarding various circumstances and were open to suggestions and feed back. The theatre itself has a beautiful interior with modern touches that most theatre wouldnt be able to dream of having and the staff not directly involved with the event was also fantastically helpful! Really a great place.

Love this theater! Three updates from the remodel are quite elegant makes you feel like youre in a real classy place. I enjoy coming here with my husband and kids. Staff is very friendly I always feel welcome here. I love that you get a .50 cent piece when they give you change theyre done that since I was a kid and my daughter loves it. She collects coins her eyes light up every time I give her one

Always a friendly environment and always clean the staff is amazing to gets expensive going but its nice when we can go and enjoy ourselves. They dont tolerate people disrupting others during a movie either and dont hesitate to kick people out there cause problems.

Very cool little movie theatre!

Its an older theater, but still comfortable, and the employees are great. They are patient with newcomers, and helpful when we were trying to see two movies back to back.

The new management has made the theater experience awkward and less opening to people that aren’t in the Christian belief creating an alienating presence for the non Christian community. We are all there to see a movie, which is what we paid for, not to hear a sermon mid opening credits. That and the lack of large blockbuster films opening weekend, but somehow screen room and time for free films and films released decades ago leave me wondering why I go to this theater, and not drive 30 minutes to a more updated one. It’s sad to see the theater of my childhood turn out like this

A nice local theater with good people working at the front. Im not crazy about all of their policies though and prefer to go to other theaters.

Modern and comfortable setting for movie viewing

I love the popcorn, and the new seats, and the old seats! Even though the old part creeps me out a little bit, its still nice. The look of it is also really beautiful, especially when you walk in, and everything is just pretty. Dont judge me-

A total surprise is this wonderful small town movie house....It was huge and amazing! The interior is very well designed. The bathrooms sparkled and the floors perfectly clean. The staff was the sweetest and the price....$20 and my wife and I shared a movie, large popcorn and soda all with free refills...We kidded each other that the theater was going to be small but we we wrong! The theater had stadium seating with high backed leather rocking chair seating and a huge beautiful screen. It seated about 111. I will drive from Springfield just to enjoy this facility and the sweetest staff you will ever meet. Although it is 50 cents more for Real butter on your popcorn and its worth it...Dont forget to click like if the review helps

This is an amazing theater with an amazing staff! Definitely my favorite place to go watch a movie

Great movie theater however if your movie is in screen 7 or 8 just leave! They are the 2 screens that were there before the renovations. The seats hurt, theirs a glare on the screen from the lights, the screens are the smallest in the theater and the owner creeps me out. He has a habit of sitting outside or standing behind the concession stand and just staring at people. He never says anything he just stares like hes expecting you to steal something or he wants to eat your face... I cant tell which. Prices are decent for a theater and screens 1-6 are great and new. Just AVOID screen 7 and 8! They smell like old urine and cigarettes. Its a musty type smell like moldy carpet.

This place looks amazing. I know when your at the movies, you dont usually notice the bathrooms. I felt like I was at the Ritz. The seating in the theater could be contrived a little better but they are comfortable and easily accessible. The pricing is much lower than what you would expect from a place that looks this good. One thing that stands out is that the pre-show is made up of local business commercials. This is great for the community. Definitely my home theater. See you at the movies

Great theater for the community.

The theater is lovely and the actual theaters are handicap accesible. The accessible seats are in a great position. The staff are courteous. The bathrooms are very wheelchair friendly. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because the ramp going up to the bathrooms is covered in carpet. Just makes pushing my chair up the ramp more difficult. And the door to the family accessible bathroom is very heavy. But I rarely go to the movies alone so this is nothing that cant be overcome with a little help from my friends :-)

Beautiful fr/ start to finish: huge screen, excellent acoustics, comfortable seating & easy access to them. Friendly staff from moment walk thru the doors. Overall - wonderfully pleasant experience! All that & the movie was FREE *I Can Only Imagine* ...oh...thats the name of the movie! GO!

Just an awesome looking place. Grand. Makes you feel like your not in Lincoln the second you walk in. The screens and sound are superb. Very nice attentive staff. Zero complaints. Near perfect.

My husband and I enjoyed the movie we saw but the older half of the building is just that, old. You walk into your theater and you immediately feel like your going to fall forward but when you sit down, you feel like your leaning forward and have to use you muscles and legs to hold you back in your chair bc the whole entire seating is slanted. We will not be back and we will not recommend this place to anyone.

Not much selection on snacks and sometimes they dont have certain movies but tye staff are always nice

Amazing theatre for a town the size of Lincoln. The lobby is gorgeous. Ticket prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, the popcorn is delicious (and they offer reusable buckets for cheap refills all year long!) and the newly-renovated stadium-style theatres are comfortable and very much up-to-date. I would much rather go here than to the overpriced theatres in Bloomington or Springfield - Plus there are cute places to shop on the square in Lincoln.

Just went there for the first time in new building to watch endgame very very nice seats where comfy popcorn was good soda was good sound was amazing picture was amazing Ill def be visiting again when the next good movie I like comes out 5 stars from me for the great movie too

Two paid staff on Christmas night! We viewed the 645 show. Theatre was not cleaned at all. Not pleased, management can do better!!! Long lines!

The updated new part of the theater is very nice. Reclining chairs, nice clean big bathrooms. They really need to update the old part of the theater not sure why they didnt.

WOW ..... what a gut punch .... who ever gutted out the marquee and trashed THAT BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL ART DECO NEON MADE A HUGE MISTAKE .... and put the sterile unremarkable one in its place just took the personality away from a grand dame ..... What a shame .... Very Sad it would have been a great attraction for those traveling the Mother Road And preserve that slice off the history of Lincoln .....

I really like what they did with the place. The old theatre was cramped and very old, but this new one is spacious and looks great. The only problem is that the aisle location in the theatres is very strange. There is only one aisle and it is on the far side from the exit, so if someone leaves during the movie they end up marching in front of everyone.

Its always amazing time there workers are all very nice and it is so beautiful inside.... the only thing I would change is maybe have some shows while kids r at school so adults can go in thier days off so we can enjoy a movie by our self or day time dates

Great place great service I have only ever seen one of the theater rooms trashed with popcorn and havent since usually really clean I gave it a 5 star because its only happened once and never again things happen.

I see all my movies at the local theater. It has all the blockbuster movies. Plus, they are showing Indiana Jones for $3, and Gone with the Wind for $5. Great fun for all or anyone in the family!

This Theater is a God send to the comunity. Extremely comfortable and designed top in its class. Very roomy. Cleaned to perfection. The restrooms are better and roomier than you will find in the finest hotel. The young man working the cash register tonight 1-18-18 at 7:00 pm was about as friendly and helpful as a zombie but hay, maybe he was having a bad day. Definitely not a meet a greet person for the job. It didnt stop us from enjoing a great movie or to keep us from coming back. I love the place. Cant say enough good about it. 5 star if you go see a new movie and are able to get into one of the new theaters, small theater but the seats arent bad at all. The older side does tend to be on the colder side if you go in the winter.
