I am a new customer at Glaser Ceramic Supply. I have ordered products from these folks a few times. Their customer service is great!! I have called in a couple of times to ask some questions and customer service representative- Marilyn was the person that I spoke to. She is amazing!! She was very courteous, knowledgeable, and very personable!! I had placed an order for my elderly Aunt that is in her late eighties. My Aunt was confused about the packing slip that she had received. I had placed a call in to Glaser and reached Marilyn. I was thrilled once again to be speaking to her. Very much to my surprise, Marilyn and Glaser had already taken care of the confusion regarding my elderly Aunt. Marilyn and the Glaser company are truly a shining example of what great customer service is all about!! If Glaser has an employee recognition program, I would like to have Marilyn recognized! Keep up the great work everyone.
Marilyn called me and personally took time to take my order and advise me about shipping cost and time over the phone. It was great to talk to a real person and know what Id be getting. I can tell they take pride in customer service. I was worried about having what I needed in time for a school art project, and Marilyn got it to me right in time! I drive from Omaha, this is a shipping warehouse with the floor open to walk ins. The staff is always busy but the moment I ask a question one of them will stop and help me as if they had nothing to do but help in store customers.I recommend you go to the site and pick out what you want and go in with the list (if you are a walk in). This is nothing against them because like I mentioned this is a shipping warehouse that mostly deals with online orders. Organization caters more to them pulling items off shelves for shipping than what you would expect from a retailer.Their prices are great, friendly staff and great selection!
I left a note about the lid of a glaze jar being broken in shipping. Next thing I know, I was emailed by Ryan Hobrock and a new jar of glaze was on the way. Above and beyond. Thank you.
Marilyn was amazing. Im a young person wanting to make ceramics for a living and she opened my eyes to many new techniques and all the things I can order from there. She is truly the best.
If I could give a zero, I would. I ordered 2 gallons of slip from them. Having never ordered it before, I didn’t realize it came in a flimsy plastic bag inside an even flimsier cardboard box. When it arrived, the box was ripped down one side. I brought it in the house and opened it. Well, guess what? Slip came flowing out all over my floor! Called the company and spoke to a manager. I received a credit on my card for the purchase and a huge giggle from the manager. I really didn’t think it was funny. She didn’t have to clean up the mess!
Great company!! Very helpful for years now! Has far more than they can put in a catalog! Perfect for beginning ceramics supplies, experienced painters, crafters, or large stores. They travel so they maybe in your area where you can get items without shipping charges. Love all of them but especially Marilyn!!
This company is amazing. I ordered items not the first time. Well I tracked the package and it said was delivered. I never received. I emailed them immediately they sent out my items. It is the best customer service I have ever experienced in a long time! You rock!!!!

I will take that 50 mile drive any day from Omaha to Lincoln to pick up needed supplies...whether it be ceramic bisque, clay, glazes, brushes, and so much more! After a few desperate trips to this place, Ive decided I will never go back. The staff is barely knowledgeable on glazing techniques and outcomes, despite a decent selection of choices in glazes all are fairly low grade and do not compare with prices available in Omaha, and obviously the internet.Its dusty, dark, and very cramped with someone always on the phone at the front at what they call a check out stand.Like the other reviewer, a no return policy on all glazes, or as they call them, paints even unopened seems fairly ridiculous for even in-town customers.If you must buy from them, buy only the bare essentials and wear a dust mask, avoid asking advice unless the younger guy is working, he knows some of his stuff.
I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH JEREMY B. BUT HE SOUNDED LIKE HE WANTED THEM TO DO IT FOR HIM. UNDERSTANDABLY PAINTS, GLAZES, ETC. SHOULDNT BE RETURNABLE IF OPENED, ONLY IF SENT THE WRONG THING AND NOT OPENED. WHY WOULD ANYONE ELSE WANT TO END UP WITH SOMETHING THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN OPENED. PRETTY SURE THE SHELF LIFE THING JUST RAMPS RIGHT UP WHEN OPENED. LIKE ANYTHING--OPEN AIR BEGINS THE NATURAL DECAYING PROCESS. I HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT GLORIOUS SERVICE, QUESTIONS ANSWERED AND EVEN OPENING MY EYES TO NEW THINGS. I LOVE LOVE LOVE MARILYN AND HUBBY. NOT SURE HOW MY HUSBAND FEELS ABOUT 50 PACKAGES OF PAINT BRUSHES, MORE BRUSH ON GLITTERS, SEVERAL HUNDRED PAINTS (AT LEAST), GOOD THING THEY DON;T HAVE NAIL POLISH-I USE THAT A LOT AS WELL--I WOULD SURELY BE PUTTING THEIR GRANDCHILDREN THROUGH COLLEGE ON THAT HABIT.MY HUSBAND IS EVOLVING--HE JUST PAINTED HIS FIRST FAIRY HOUSE--I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL SHOW THIS OCTOBER, NOT SURE HOW MUCH I REALLY NEED, BUT I DO HAVE A LONG WISH LIST OF WHAT I WANT. WONDERFUL PEOPLE, THEIR PHONE CALLS AND CHECK-OUT SOUND LIKE A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS TO ME.I LOOK FORWARD TO TRAVELING TO NEBRASKA AND SEEING THE WAREHOUSE, AS SOON AS PAM IS READY TO GO. ANYWAY, GETTING READY TO CALL THEM RIGHT NOW, RAN OUT OF KILN PAPER AND CANT HAVE THAT FOR SURE.
