Nice park on a gorgeous fall day. Trails for walking are well maintained and there is a nice play structure for kids. This park also has an ice rink and soccer field. Benches were broken in some areas though.

Such a wonderful peaceful Park to walk in good distances to walk also. It is also a clean Park.

Because I can walk,ride a bike,rolled blad. ect you. could watch nature let kids play on play place. I remember them making the park when we were younger we used collect snakes and though there it was great

Great walking path. The playground us a little run down, but still functional. Also a roller hockey rink and ball fields.

Enjoyed kayaking and the people that live on the river are very nice.

Great park in the city, especially if you are aiming to do a sport reuring field, theres also a skate/roller park for folks as well. The river nearby is beautiful and adds a pleasant breeze on warm days.

Great park for talking a stroll and playing Pokemon. I wish they had more playground equipment for the kids.

Its a nice roomy park with many amenities! We like to walk the 1.9 mile track.

Its a wonderful neighborhood park. You can walk/bike a nice path. There is playground, outdoor hockey and soccer is played. There are benches to sit, bathrooms and a pavillion.

Good place to go for a walk

For a park with in a city it had so much you could do with you families. Paved hiking trail, a creek, shaded areas, picnic pavilion, indoor toilets and more. You just feel like you are at a good Park.

Walking paths are snow and ice free. Great job LP!

The one thing I dont understand is how theres this GIANT Sign that says no dogs allowed in this park and yet when police roll through they dont say anything to the 4 people with dogs. Otherwise, beautiful location.

It was not a park when I was a kid. We went there to party and just hang out. Its definitely a lot nicer looking now and everyone can use it.

Love the park since it has a baseball and soccer field for my niece to play

Its a nice walking and running past there. Nice clean place to go for a walk or go for a nice run or to sit there and play basketball or whatever. Everything is well-maintained people there are very polite. Just had a nice time theyre getting in some exercise.

Its a great place to take the kids. They have a PlayStation they have swings for the kids. I like to come down here by the river because its nice and peaceful its one of my happy places

We like this park our son plays soccer here and they have a nice walking track.

There should be some markings in the trail so you know how far you are going other than that its an amazing park

It is a best place to find wildlife. You might find a great blue heron there.

Have been going to Council Point for a long time, and have never had a problem.

Some of the best wildlife you can find right in the city. From mallard ducks to great blue herons. If you go, make sure you have a pocket full of peanuts or some other treats because the squirrels will be there waiting.

Beautiful on this wonderful spring day. I sat by the water and watched the same fish jump out of the water a few times while I sat and was grateful for the nice weather

A nice clean local park!

My family LOVES to come here to hunt Pokemon. There are very well kept up walking trails around the park. The grass is maintained very nicely. There is a pretty stream with some water fowl, fish, and even turtles. Lots of different Pokemon here. Lots of Pokestops as well. There is at least two gyms here with some nice raid battles to flight and win! There is also a pavilion to picnic at and get out of the sun. All in all, this is a beautiful park worth going to even if you and the kids want to play on the equipment. Enjoy!!

The park has water the Ducks the baby ducks a lot of the older folks is beautiful

Clean up your dogs po po and your trash, would help. Paint the playground items and fill in the low spots with some wood chips. The park couple be a 5 star Park.

Nice park, very long walking trails. If youre interested in some of the sporting areas they are a bit run down, showing their age and beginning to fall into a state of disrepair. No different than other parks in the area, needs some time and funding invested to get it looking nice. Park closes at 11pm, though I dont know if I would stay after dark.

Beautiful park with a sad history. We took the kids there so they could see what happened and how close it was to our house. There are wonderful paths on the river with lots of neat areas to observe nature. There is also a lot of different equipment and fields including a inline skate rink.

Nice park to shoot photos but they need to clean up the poop. Otherwise its nice. I shot a wedding here and shot many bridal sessions in this park.

Go-to walking track. I believe one side of the track is a half mile and the other is a full mile, not 100% sure, but good if your not in the mood but are still pushing yourself. Nice park for the kids as well.

Very nice park! This park has a Pavillion, Playground for the kids, skate rink, walking or bike path, bathrooms, drinking fountain, lot of people play Pokemon Go ( has a lot of Pokestops, Pokemon Gym, & Pokemon here), baseball & soccer fields, you also can go fishing here! I Love it!

They keep it up so nice. Grass is always cut, litter is always picked up, pathways are always free of debris. You can walk, run, rollerblade, push strollers...everyone shares the same paths respectfully : )

Kind of a lame park but they have a bike path that travels along the beautiful ecorse river. Bring your mace this park has hoodlums and trouble makers.

Love taking the kids up here to ride their bikes on the track or play roller hockey in the rink or to just have fun on the playscapes!

The park just needs some TLC. The landscaping is bad. The playscape needs weeds to be removed and cleaned up a little. The shelter needs to be cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint. For example, the concrete needs to be scrubbed.Finally, the city should put some effort into cleaning up the creek and maximizing the areas around the park that offer views of the water.

Its a park what could anyone want to hear. Some BS about the grass.

A real nice part and has a lot of history originally it was from the Native Americans they gathered together to get the British out of port Detroit and 17 93 I think thats why they call it the point he called a council chief I forgot his name

I live right by it and I think its a great distance from my house and the scenery its just beautiful I think it is a efficient park it used to have a merry go round but they took it out. They should put it back in though but other than that it is a wonderful park and thats why 5 stars

The restrooms werent open even though there was a game there or I would have rated higher.

Would be nive if restrooms stayed open until time posted like i wpuldve made my kids use restroom and leave 4 our walk home earlier if i knew they would lock them a hour early
