Summer has a passion for not only creating beautiful works of art, but for teaching, nurturing, and cultivating the young artists of our future. She gives of her time and her own resources to ensure that her students receive everything needed to fulfill their potential. Mosaic Minds Art Academy is a place where curious young minds can explore the arts and thrive.

I absolutely love- the studio, the teachers, the structure- EVERYTHING about Mosaic Minds. My daughter is only on her third class, and already I am seeing how the personalization of instruction serves to cultivate her natural talents in a way I have not seen from prior classes for which I have paid a lot more. I am so pleased with the general environment of nurturing here that I have also enrolled her twin sister, who didnt think she had much interest in art, but is absolutely loving her Fundamentals class! So very happy to have found this place

AMAZING art school. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable. The facility is beautiful and in a great location. Summer is not only a great instructor but she also helped my child with her portfolio to get into a performing art school. Affordable and worth every penny.

My children are enrolled in virtual art classes, and they love being online with Summer and the other students. Its like she brings the whole class to our own home. Class syllabi and supply lists are very thorough and easy to acquire. Each weeks project allows students to be free and creative to produce a unique piece of art while following a few simple techniques. These techniques are so new and catchy that my children usually create even more after class. Summer teaches history to go with each weeks theme, so students know and understand what types of art they are emulating. The virtual class is affordable and allows us to stay home and use our own supplies, most of which are items we keep around the house anyway.

My crew loves Ms. Summer! Shes always nice, helpful, and professional. Theres always something creative and fun for the kids to do.

Awesome facility, great teachers and a good place for young people to grow in Art. Also classes for adults which is a definite plus!

Mosaic Minds is a great art school and Ms. Summer is a wonderful teacher! My son has been taking classes for almost a year, and we’re both impressed with the quality of the lessons. This is not the first art school we’ve tried, but it’s definitely our favorite.

She is the best teacher I have ever seen. She makes my son feel like he can do anything! He has so much confidence in his self and his art!

We tried other instructors and studios in the area before going to Summer, and I have to say that Summer is by far the most passionate and most patient. Its so obvious how much she loves her job and how much energy she puts forth into each lesson. My children are 7 and 5 now, and they are homeschooled. They both started taking classes with Summer when they were 4. They talk about things like Pop Art and Realism and point it out when we go places. Last month, they studied abstract art and learned about Action Jackson and practiced creating abstract art. They LOVED these sessions. Next month, they are studying folk art, and after looking at the syllabus, I truly cannot wait to see what artwork and knowledge they will come home with next!

I couldnt wait to finally put my children in summer kings class, and just as I thought they loved it. my children love drawing so this class was right up their alley I love to refer others to her classes especially other homeschoolers!!

Summer King is absolutely amazing! My 8 year old started with one afterschool class last spring and now takes two different classes each week. I am very impressed with the school. Summer King offers classes for every skill level. The school not only teaches the kids different art techniques, they also learn about different artists and mediums. The school offers multiple classes... Cartooning, drawing/sketching etc.. My daughter is learning to work with acrylics, water color, charcoal, oil pastels... She has learned Chinese brush painting! The Kids participate in a true art exhibit and have an opportunity to display, sell and discuss their work with the general public. My daughter is having her second art exhibit on December 3rd at Snellville City Hall!!! I could go on and on!!! Did I mention that all of the instructors are professional artists who are actually working in their area of expertise. The cartooning instructor is a working cartoonist! The Drawing/Sketching instructor is actually a working commissioned artist.... The skill and knowledge in this academy is truly exceptional. They even have a Summer Camp program that is over the top! My daughter did it last summer and had a blast. We definitely plan to attend the summer camp this year. Summer also does birthday parties.... She is doing my daughters party later this month! If you are like me and believe that children need to be educated in fine arts.. and are disappointed that our society is taking art programs out of the schools, you need Mosaic Minds Art Academy. If you or your child is a budding artist or you just love art... you need Mosaic Minds Art Academy. If you need a super cool Summer Camp for your child....you need Mosaic Minds Art Academy. If you need a super cool art party... you need Mosaic Minds Art Academy. I give you 20 stars!! Five simply is not enough! Well done Summer!Summer just did my daughters 9th birthday party. All of the kids loved it. They each got to paint a beautiful canvas. The canvas and all of the art supplies were included. Each child got to take their personal masterpiece home. What a fantastic party favor!!!! Thanks Summer You were a big hit!!!! Worth every penny!!!!

Summer is an enthusiastic and talented art teacher. Highly recommend.
