I did ice skating lessons here. The coach was amazing. But when the pandemic hit they closed down with me still having 3 lessons left. I have waited 5 months for them to open again. When they did I emailed asking for a refund for my missed classes. Ive been emailing for a month and still no response. Their customer service is really bad. Definitely wont be returning since they just steal my money.
Great place and staff friendly
We are new to the city of Lexington and they did not accept us ... The website did not explain this. My children are now sad and frustrated ...
Nice warm ice skating rink perfect for hockey and figure skating. Always clean and well maintained with one rink a many warm locker and warming rooms. They also offer free skates some days where you can show up, and skate around the ice!
The ice rink is awesome, very few people during general skating.
A lot of interest things
Warmer inside than most rinks. Clean. Great Zamboni driver. Parking gets tight.
Great place for kids. Lots of activities.
Great for ice skating. Locker rooms are large and clean.
Loved to spend some afternoons swimming and playing basketball in the 1990s there.
Great classes and facilities.
The classes on offer are good, the facility is nice, the online platform is never up to date- so it will say a class is open and its actually on waitlist. In order to get into any of the high demand classes you have to sign up on the day. The biggest issue here is the staff. My daughter went to pre-K here and that team was good, but the reception staff and the new director are just intolerant of even speaking on the phone, being helpful, and are just plain rude. Time for some tutorials on customer service.
The building had nice Architecture, the staff was very nice, and it was laid out very well. I will definitely come back here for swimming, table tennis, and basketball at the gym.
Great community center in Lexington MA
Lazy and rude staff. I got harassed while changing in the locker room, particularly by the janitor, even though I was there during business hours and not a minute later. Pool is below average for laps--too much of it is shallow. Location is about the only thing this place has going for it, and fairly nice decor in the waiting area. They should hire new staff. Dump these classless loafers and ingrates. Im sure half the complementary reviews here are written by affiliates/employees of Hayden Recreation Center.
Go there for a childs ballet classThe renovated Hayden seems such user friendly, definitely updated
Gym/play space for the kids upstairs, free weights for Dad downstairs. Its not the newest equipment, but iron lasts and this is by far the best deal in town for weight lifting.
Great community center with wonderful swimming programs and other activities. When it snows theres a great sledding hill behind the rec center!
Love the activities offered for the kids - only problem is that there are not enough spaces for each class and it is a battle to register for every activity.
The pool here is terrible, you can only swim one stroke then get busted in the head by a kid or someone, besides their swim team isnt worth trying out for. Theyre really bad. The facility is ok, but the parking needs some work.
Loved it ️
Great place for kids to get involved in sports and fitness
Rude Staff..Do not go on face value or discussion. Instead read the brochure for any cancellation. Their conversations are extremely unclear
Very great place for my little boy
Nice facility for all sports activities for the kids.
Friendly and lots of activities for the kids
It is great :)
Lots of variety in recreation but smells very bad.
