This is part of the Historic St Marys area. It is included in the $10 entry. They have people dressed in period garb explaining what life was like in the old times. They have a barn that demonstrates how tobacco was dried, some animals such as cows and pigs, a period vegetable garden, and a preserved farm house.
This is a working plantation. It gives a little of the feel of southern Maryland society in the mid-17th century.They grow tobacco, food crops, a vegetable garden, and raise small livestock, mostly using 17th century methods and materials.The docent did a good job of presenting. Informational and well-organized.Great place for children.A little costly.
