Were Excited to join Thrive Lewisville today.Grand Opening is this Saturday October 3, 2020. We live in Flower Mound, but this new$22 Million Facility is first class, and available to non residents for a small additional annual fee. Great exercise and water facilities. And so affordable.Highly recommended.Phil
Beautiful multipurpose facility. Huge leap forward for Lewisville Parks & Rec. Looks especially good for little kids and seniors. Similar in some ways to the multipurpose rec center in Coppell but bigger and finer. Most classes in the morning and evening are FULL weeks in advance. Yet there are many classes during the day with few participants. I notice theyve added an extra class later in the evening. Area upstairs with exercise machines, weights, track is spacious, not crowded, and well-equipped, very noisy when basketball gym is in use, otherwise very quiet, which is so much better than other gyms. Unfortunately theres nothing stopping staff from playing their own choice of awful music upstairs. The cardio machines are far apart, theyre cleaned after every use, and they have fans above them that are always on, yet masks are required on the machines even when theres only one or two people there, which seems extreme. TV channels aren’t working yet on ellipticals. I see quite a few families playing together and teens roaming around and socializing appropriately here but not that many seniors, maybe due to COVID. The indoor aquatic area is fun, water is warm. No mask required to swim LOL. They close the whole building at 9:00 am and they close again at 1:30, which seems a little ridiculous. The schedule takes some adjustment.
Me and my family are so happy with this place! There’s something to do for all of us and we can all workout. Price is great for the yearly membership. Plenty of workout equipment and love the TRX equipment, and the pool with slides. :)
Great new facility. Family went on a tour and was impressed with what they had to offer. The staff was great and answered all our questions.
Nice new facility but still running at about 50% capacity due to covid-19 lockdown. I have not used the pool but the family says that the water is cold. The workout machine area is clean and organized.
I love this place! The staff is dealing well with opening under Covid conditions, and I enjoy every minute I work out here. Water fitness instructor Michelle is fierce. Love the thoughtful details right down to the locking lockers. Thank you Lewisville!
This new recreation center is incredible. Indoor pool, basketball, pickleball, fitness equipment, play area for small children, billiards, too much to mention.
A beautiful new fitness facility for the community of Lewisville. A great place to workout.
Nicely organized, plenty of room and exercise options, very helpful staff, latest fitness technology incorporated.
What a great city community center! Not only state of the art facilities, but great fitness instructors and staff, very friendly.
Looks good. Will give it a try next month.
