Denise was so amazing! Answered all of our questions and helped us play a fun game of chutes and ladders!
Excellent history of Lewiston and the mills. Definitely worth a visit. Great photos and objects!
It was very informative. Very interesting and well guided
Highly suggested! The director kept me engaged and was well knowledgable about the history around the Mills. I normally am not one for museums, however constantly engaging me while taking the tour was outstanding.
Very accommodating staffs but some area were not well-maintained and full of trash.
Learned a lot about my home town. Worth the time
This is a perfect place to go to if you homeschool or just want to know about the Bates Mill history. The fee is definitely affordable (I believe at 5 dollars per head, 4 for Seniors and Students) and the staff is very friendly.I went today but ended up getting there a little too close to closing time so my son and I ended up checking out the 1st floor but what we saw was very interesting and informative. Next time we go, well have to check out both floors. ^_^
Personnel tour guides...They had 4 there the day I was there.... Answers alot of questions about the Lewiston auburn area
Incredible! My grandmother retired from the Bates Mill and this provided a fascinating look into all the different tasks involved in making a bedspread and other things.
This is such a unique experience for those people who have spent their entire life in the L-A area or for those just stopping by. You can almost hear the machines still roaring as you learn about the mill history of the area.
Very educational and authentic place to learn about Lewiston and Auburn history and industrial development.
