Lots of family friendly events!

I am so delighted that the current members of the board are working diligently to restore this beautiful mansion and the farm managers residence. I have family ties to this wonderful historic property from approx 1921 thru 1952, at which time when New Bolton Center was developed in Southern Chester County. Both my grandfather and father served as the farm manager in Bucks County. My grandfather died suddenly in 1951, and thats when my father took over as farm manager. My father continued as farm manager at New Bolton Center until his retirement after 50+ years with the University of Pennsylvania.

We did a tour with the boy scouts and loved the tour! The house had a lot of rooms, and examples of how they cooked, dishes they used. It was a great trip, 10 minutes away!

Love the events they hosted. Very friendly and great atmosphere!

Went today for the food truck festival! Great time, fun for all ages and awesome food truck selection! Turned out to be a beautiful day as well!

An historic colonial home under ongoing restoration by a dedicated group. I love seeing history kept alive as opposed to being knocked down to make way for yet another strip mall or convenience shop. It is happening here with programs and activities occurring to raise money for restoration efforts, whilst also educating participants on what daily life was like back then! Check in with them often and find an enjoyable event to partake in! Then watch as the house continues its gradual rebirth!

Bolton Mansion is still so full of life thanks to the Friends of Bolton Mansion and those who participate in the events held almost weekly. There are historical reenactments, ghost hunts, a haunted attraction for the Halloween season, food truck days, and other fun events. Very family-friendly.

Always a great time at their events! DJ Milkyway is awesome! Vendors from MLBB are great! We love the food truck events.

They did an awesome job for the first year. Hopefully many more to come. The haunted woods.

Great day! Big thanks to everyone who took the time to show off their amazing vehicles.

This historic mansion built when america was young has survived several centuries and continues to do so. It is surrounded by levittown homes and sits on several acres. It is always under reconstruction due to its neglect over the years due to a fire and other problems. It maybe haunted and several times a year they hold fundraisers to try and restore it to its original state. Also check out the bolton cemetary which is off levittown parkway!

People were very friendly and cheep had fun with the kids

I used to go here all the time with my cousins but it was all boarded up. We used to sneak inside when no one was looking and scare each other. I live in the South West now and haven’t seen it since they fixed it up. The pictures are beautiful!! Next time I’m out for a visit I’ll have to stop by the place.

What a great opportunity to take a walk back in history. The people that have given their time, energy and resources to open this beautiful old home to the public need to be commended. It’s well worth the trip

Terrible, no sound for the first 20mins then it came on, we got to watch the movie for maybe 40 mins then it went completely out so we left. Oh yeah and the screen was a 32 screen.

Good food truck event loved the vendors

They had a haunted tour festival. Food trucks were great. Vendors outside were amazing. Unfortunately they didnt have any tickets for the ghost tour. Kids were disappointed! If they do this again, buy tickets ahead of time.

Went for the food truck festival, which wasnt worth it. The prices of the food was very expensive. Didnt see the mansion, but the grounds were nice and well kept. Will update once I get to see the inside of the mansion.

Haunted House was fun

I pretty much grew up near the Bolton Mansion as my grandmother lives on the corner. The best sledding hill around.The Friends Of The Bolton Mansion have done a wonderful job of preserving and maintaining the historic property.

The 330th anniversary event the friends at the Bolton Mansion recently held was a nice time with lots of local vendors and fun for the kids. Bolton Mansion is a beautiful historic building.
