Support Local Theatre! My wife and I are rather new to town, so we caught a production of Lovecraft: The Musical last night and it. was. a. treat. I used to be involved in community theatre when I was younger, and this brought back so many good memories. As expected, it was rough around the edges but that adds sincerity and rawness to it. Great performances and a kitschy original story really made our night. Word to new visitors: Bring cash for the love bucket benefiting the cast and crew and also cash for concessions. We look forward to coming back!
We saw Christmas City Confidential tonight. Definitely worth the price of admission. Intimate theater setting with a fun story of Santa Claus needing the help of a former elf, now private investigator, to solve a murder and theft in Christmas City, North Pole. Great cast of characters, especially Christopher Steinmetz playing Grayson Coal, the elf detective. Walked out of the theater smiling.
What a great entertaining show! This was better than going to the movies. Sherlock Holmes and The Curious Case of the Candy Murder was a great play. Cant wait to go back.
The venue was a little hard to find in the dark. But thats whats GPS is for, right?! I enjoyed the play and was completely entertained. I really liked how the players greeted each audience member when we exited the seating area. They definitely appreciate the support from the community.
It has its own character in the place but so far was a great play i loved it its interactive and fun in general i had a great time people there are nice and kind it was great
This was fun.Every Monday night my friend goes to their weekly improv group. I love that I can come watch without participating! The group is funny and entertaining!
The location is odd, the troupe is great. The productions are wonderful.
This theater puts on great original works. The Meeting a fictional meeting between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King was terrific. The 31st is the last night, call for a reservation quick.
All over fun interactions.. went on improv night... will be returning !!!!
I had the opportunity to visit Overtime Theater last night for the first time and had a great experience. I met Nicole Esperon, managing director, of the theater along with many of the actors, Justin Keown, Kat McKenna, Lacey Dalby, Myles Martinez, Jay Overton, Zen Phisto, Deborah Basham-Burns, Meaghan Setterbo after there performance of, And Then There Were Some, a Murder Mystery show written/directed by Emily Fitzgerald. A lot of heart and dedication is put into a theater like the Overtime and it was definitely on display last night during my viewing. Thank you to everyone that is a part of the Overtime Theater for keeping true art alive I had a wonderful time and Ill definitely do my part to share your venue and shows with the public. Keep up the amazing work, a fan, CJ Goodwyn.
Thoroughly enjoyed the production. Small theatre and I liked that it was an intimate setting that made you feel like you were on the stage with the actors. Will definitely be returning.
Fantastic peoples! There classes are very entertaining and helpful
A small group of volunteers that put on some great plays. Very small theaters, so youre really close to the action. A lot of the plays are original works so you will be surprised. Lots of dark comedies, very entertaining!
Frogs Legs was a great show! The cast is amazing. This theater is a little hidden gem. Totally recommend!!
Great hole in the wall theater. I do miss the old location however they have done a really good job at bringing the charm and seat of your pants excitement to the new place. My only complaints are that it is a little difficult to see from the road and that their sitting/waiting area is pretty small.
This is a fun date idea! The place is cute AF, and charmingly weird. The production was fun, though not well researched. It was very entertaining, and we will probably go again.
If you have never been here is not the easiest place to find. I enjoyed goung there and the show that we saw. Its a small theater but its pretty cool. If you like watching off the wall kind of plays thks is your place. I will be returning.
I love that this local place has the quality of acting of the American classics. I went to see a play. It was 2 hours long with a 15m intermission. There were no special effects. And yet, it was an exhilarating experience. You must come check out a play at the overtime . Hope you get to see the same actors I saw.
Great entertainment at an easy price. Make sure to catch the late night improv comedy show. Fun stuff!
Quaint little theater with lots of character. It was fun and entertaining. They have popcorn and wine, an excellent combination. I recommend it for anyone who likes local, original works!!
A nice intimate theater with a very good ensemble of actors. Will definitely be returning for future performances.
Great idea, see a play.
Original plays with a talented volunteer cast. The episodic series are specially fun to follow. Make sure to have cash so you can throw a couple of bucks into the Love Bucket if you appreciate what they do.
Saw The Journeymen and Women (with a Y) at the Overtime this evening. The venue was quite small and probably was not originally built to be theater, but it gives an intimacy to the performance as you are very close to the play. The play was great, very funny. Excellent actors and actresses who really love their art. I would recommend anyone who likes adult comedies to attend a show, it is worth it.
Live, local, original theater. Great plays, great prices, great improv, and great people! Its a nonprofit organization. I love the OT Theatre!
What a fun time!!!! The only negative is that the improv started so late. Its really cool that the tickets are not that expensive and you give a donation for the drinks. So you pay what you want for them! It was really fun and really funny!!!!
Neat little place, great shows and amazing talent. Come see a show!
Derek was fenomenal, two weekends remaining for the play, this and next weekend.
Great people! Great shows! Affordable! Live. Local. Original. Besides, The Denials are the best!
The play and cast were supurb
Felt like I was on stage, wonderfully immersive.
So much fun...nerdy but fun.
Intimate. Good for interactive performances.
