My 9yr old daughter had a private hitting lesson with Anna Varriano and she loved it. Anna is a great instructional coach that I see my daughter and others warm up to quickly which in turn leads to them paying attention while having fun maximizing their learning experience. There are lots of good knowledgeable instructors out there but finding ones that your kids warm up to, trust and communicate with during an instructional lesson is the hardest trait to find. We will definitely continue to take lessons with Anna.

Great Batting Cage. Very clean. Good equipment. Friendly, helpful staff. Baseball or Softball option, multiple pitching speeds. I took my daughter on a Monday morning at 10:30 - 95 degrees outside. There were camps and private lessons going on. We used the batting cage - no wait. Ive heard it is busy on weekends or when the weather is bad.

This was our fist experience and we were so impressed. The facility is great. The instructors were very knowledgeable and made it so fun for our son. We will definitely be back

Attended camp expecting only 6 players at camp, per the advertised flyer, to allow for more 1 on 1 instruction. However, there was more players which made it hard for the coach to even complete the camp in one tunnel. Also grouping 9 year olds with 12 year olds is to big of a diffrence in skill level. The score was only so high because the coach did the best he could, and he taught my 12 yr old one new thing. Any camp that the player can learn a new thing, is a good camp. Staff was also friendly.(Update....the staff called to collect more information about this situation, and let me know that they heard what I had to say. They also explained what happened. The honesty and transparency was very nice. As I mentioned in the first part of the comment, friendly staff. I would say amazing staff and follow through.)

Fantastic indoor baseball facility that uses real baseball for the hitting machines. Great coaches and camps too. Super clean facility that promotes a positive attitude.

Decided to support a small local business during these tough times by booking a hitting lesson for my daughter with Tessa. Extremely knowledgeable on mechanics of the swing and how to affectively transfer that information to a 12 year old in a way that she can understand it. Gave her just a couple of items to focus her time on and didnt overwhelm her by trying to totally revamp her swing. My daughter was super excited after leaving, so much so that we spent another hour on the tee when we got home. Facility is in excellent condition and staff was super friendly. Well definitely be back for a lesson with Tessa and to utilize this facility! Great job D-BATs!!

Super helpful, friendly staff. Great instructors. The only game in town if you want to practice like you play...I mean, I dont know of many leagues that use dimpled batting cage balls for games, so hitting real balls in the cages is game changing.

Great instruction and incredible management that keeps the place looking great at all times. My son has been using their facility for 4 years and we love it.

I had been in town for an extended Thanksgiving visit. I came in with my daughter and nephew. The facility was even more spotless than the one we generally use. Not one shirt had fallen off the rack and was lying there unattended. I’ve been to 9 locations throughout the country and will continue to take my daughter here to get her reps in. She enjoys warming up with the lower speeds on the pitching machines since she ruptured a disc in her back last year. She mentioned that the older lady at the front desk seemed more interested in her cell phone than answering questions. She was annoyed (and just brought it up again last night). I believe the kids and customers should come first (as they “always” do at D-BAT!!). Please pay better attention to your devoted customers next time. Overall, I definitely recommend this as a fun holiday outing for families. See you all next year for sure.

Really well-lit facility, super clean, and fully-stocked pro-shop. Hitting real baseballs the other day was a real pleasure and just felt better than hitting dimple balls...Nate and Curt are super friendly and made me feel very welcome during my visit. Ill be back!

My son just loves spending time at D-bat! The staff always takes the time to know the kids names, which means the world to them! We have done the camps and lessons, it’s always been a great experience. Highly recommended!! The best part is my son always leaves feeling better about himself and pumped up! Thx D-Bat.

This is the only place I go for indoor softball. They are always clean and use real softballs in the cages so your bats don’t get messed up.

It’s a good place but I find that every time I check online the amount of people there usually is it’s always a lie and the amount says low but I go and it’s so full there’s barley space in the parking lot.

We booked a cage with a portable machine for our second-grade boys baseball team. It was all set up and ready to go. The machine was excellent and easy to control. The bleacher area was open and comfortable for those waiting. It was a great experience. Lots of price points, too.

Great place to practice and improve your swing! The only thing Id like to see, is a pitch count, to be able to tell how many swings you have left. Other than that, very easy rotation and fun time out!

We came out to get some batting in. Dennis was amazing and took great care of us! Great personality and extremely helpful. Such a clean awesome facility. We will definitely be back.

We have been members of DBAT since they first opened their doors and we were aware of their services. Kurt and Nate have always done an amazing job of working with their customers and supporting each individual and families goals. Over the course of the past few years theyve engaged and offered my grade school son opportunities in individual lessons and camps to address his particular level of interest and level of play. Through their support and training, his love of baseball and skill level have grown considerably. The DBAT team creates a family friendly atmosphere, and offers a personalized approach that is often lost in todays customer service model. They along with the staff and coaches weve become familiar with know our family and address us all by our names. I genuinely feel like they care about my son and his performance, like any coach would, but also pay attention to detail and offer a level of service that can support him for years as his baseball journey flourishes.From Kurt, Nate, Dennis, Brody, Alex and all the others that have engaged our family and my son, they offer solutions to supplement his success and broaden his baseball skill development. The Pro Shop and facilities are top notch along with the programs, camps and coaches. They are positive, fun and engaging for kids in grade school to high school. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with the DBAT family and leverage some of their additional services offered by their great coaches in the future.

Great place for lessons!

Nate Tenbrink quickly improved my sons hitting. In just a few lessons, my sons hitting fundamentals went from ugly to looking like the pros. This drastically improved his power.

Very clean and well-run facility! Pitching machines have good choices in speeds and having 3 helps with lines. Rentable cages and practice area are a great choice when indoor practice is needed.

The only softball hitting facility I know of that uses ACTUAL softballs in the cages, so you can use your bat without voiding your warranty!

Fantastic building and set up but I am not a fan of the roller type pitching machine in the cages or the baseballs. Its hard to know when to load and get perfect timing. The trajectory of the ball seems to be an arc rather than a fastball on a string. The ball is really hard for some reason despite looking like a baseball. My oldest son is a power hitter type and he was getting really bad stingers and the ball didnt sound right coming off the bat. No bat dents luckily. Great to have another option locally. I am puzzled by the balls though as we have not encountered this at any other batting cages.

Stopped by these cages on the way from work to mid- america sports complex, wanted to get some swings in before a game. Im not sure what type of balls they use, but as of August 2017 they were not baseballs or cage balls. I had 2 bats completely shatter in the first cage. I mean they completely shattered. Id never seen anything like it and have been using wood bats for over 15 years. I couldnt explain it, and could not explain the dense feeling of the ball hitting the bat either. It was not the typical feel of a baseball or yellow cage ball. It was almost like they were filled with concrete. Havent gone back since and dont plan on it either. Otherwise, it seems like a nice facility and the employees were helpful.

5 stars none less 10am - 9pm everyday where else are you gonna get that at??

Used D-Bat for the first time today and it was fantastic. My 9 year old daughter had a half hour hitting lesson with one of D-Bats instructors. It was amazing watching the instructor work with my daughter giving her practical and useful things to work on. Well worth the time and effort! Thanks D-Bat!

Best baseball facility in Kansas City. Good lighting and great hitting machines that actually simulate real pitching.

The facility is amazing. Only downside is its a little inconvenient to have to reload the pitching machine.

Great option for cold/ wet weather baseball conditioning and batting. $2 for 15 pitches in a dry, warm environment.

Clean, professional and very friendly. Best part is hitting real baseballs in the machines. Only issue is not enough pitching machines. There are only 3 and there are always 3-4 hitters in line at each in the evening.
