Expensive when compared to nearby options, but a well maintained course with courteous staff and a good variety of options for trap, skeet and sporting clays. I enjoyed my run of their sporting clays course today and would recommend it to shotgun enthusiasts with a good amount of cash to spare.Fellow shooters were polite and respectful. Good vibe and a nonthreatening atmosphere for all ages.

Great place to go practice archery and shooting

An excellent time with family and friends on the sporting clay course. In our family, we refer to it as gun golf. Facility well maintained, safe environment, with friendly attentive staff.

Just took an hour to shoot 2 rounds of League trap. #4 broke 2 or 3 clays to each shoot. Hardly a legal rock out.The employee tried there best get it to work but couldnt. Should have been closed.

I recently started shooting with the Ladies League and its been a great experience. Everyone is super friendly and nice. There are plenty of experienced people around willing to help or offer advice. This is my new favorite hobby.

Not playing Golf Anymore...Sporting Clays is where it is at.I have lived 15 min from this place for 12 years and had no idea how much Powder Creek Shooting Park had to offer. Lifelong hunter and trap shooter. The Sporting Clay Range is fantastic. Staff if thorough and safety conscious. The range is scenic and fun. I used to take associates golfing, no more, I am addicted to the Sporting Range. Cheaper and 12 spots can be completed in 2-3 hours. A must do for family outings and business events.

Had a great time there. Excellently maintained range. Target throwers were all in good working order. Got checked in quickly and was out shooting a few minutes after I arrived. Great place to take a group of people.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They accommodated a large group and we all enjoyed shooting trap and sporting clays. The sporting clays course was beautiful and well maintained. Only one station had issues and they drove out right away and fixed it. They offered two courses of varying difficulty. We played the easier one and it offered a good challenge for our group with a variety of skill levels. Would highly recommend this place!

Powder creek has two great clay courses. Its automated so you can shoot when your partner pushes a button or it can be timed. They change up the direction the clays fly from frequently. They also have five stand, trap and skeet shooting, and an archery range. Bring your own ammo or buy there. Also, they usually have some adorable dogs hanging out as well. If youre not a member, check the calendar ahead of time to verify that they arent having an event that day.

I purchased shooting lessons for my wife and after 3 lessons with John Francis my wife is shooting better than me!!! After hearing my wifes highest recommendations of John I swallowed my pride and gave him another call. Mind you I grew up in the country and hunting since the age of 6. I did not realize how much just one lesson with John would help. I brought multiple shotguns with me and within the 1st 5 minutes without even firing a shot he identified and corrected the deficiency. Never shooting anywhere but in the woods and at wild game made me a little nervous at 1st. However Johns confidence and professionalism helped me quickly over come any jitters and within 10 minutes I was breaking clay at will. At this point he also addressed some mechanics that also helped with target acquisition. I am very impressed with his knowledge and teaching ability. John Francis and Powder Creek Shooting Park have earned my familys highest recommendation. Thank you John. Not only do my wife and I get more enjoyment out of shooting, I can tell your lessons have even made our dog happy as well.

Always a ton of fun, my group really enjoy walking to course .. We are not professionals but enjoy the challenge.. We really enjoyed all of the improvement they have made thought the last few years.. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is kept clean, and would suggest checking out ..

Two sporting clays tracks one easy,great for bird season, second track harder than heck, great for humble pie. Think you are a great shooter, power creek is a sure thing for the hunter.sports man, and its really fun! Best management, everyone in friendly and glad to help you have fun at All skill levels

Very good place for some low key trap practice. Not too busy...able to shoot 5 rounds in 90 minutes...staff is courteous and helpful. Equipment works well.

Very enjoyable. Kaitlin at the welcome desk was very helpful and pleasant on 11/24. I shot a 50 bird course of sporting clays and enjoyed the 1.3 mile course which was pleasant, treed and varied terrain. All the equipment and throwers was in top working order. I plan to go back today for a 100 bird course with my son.

The only trap park I have ever been to where everyone shoots to the middle instead of to the outside. Very scenic location, good exercise walking the course, and a variety of good trap sets. I just cant get over being constantly peppered by the shooters on the opposite side of the range and the sound of lead shot landing all around.
