This was our first year playing with GABL and I think it was poorly managed. I understand that GABL does not choose to cancel games but it is the school district, however there should be pre-determined dates for make up games and practices. Also when trying to get more practice time or a make- up practice that was cancelled, no communication was ever responded to our team after emailing numerous times, and I know other teams had the same issue. We did not get good quality for what we paid for the season. Unfortunately this is one of the few basketball leagues in the KC area, and I think they get too overwhelmed with the amount of teams that are signed up. Not sure if there is a cut off the number of players/ teams for the season. One of the good things was that in every game, the referees were good.

Everytime I have signed my son up there is never a coach. Ive called 3 times and get no return call. Very frustrating!
