Blanding City throws one of the larges Independence Day celebration in the state of Utah. What makes our celebration the best is the awesome band and firework show we have each year! For the past 5+ years we have worked with Utah Live Bands to get a band booked for our event, and each year its a simple, stress free process that has resulted in a great partnership. 5/5 would recommend using them!

Almost 2 weeks later and our wedding guests are STILL raving about the entertainment! Through Utah Live Bands, we were able to hire a DJ, Zoom Live-streaming services and The Roadside Ramblers. From start to finish Mike Tobian (Utah Live Bands Owner & Roadside Ramblers musician) was so accommodating, patient, and kind. Although we had maybe the best wedding planner in the world, planning a destination microwedding during a pandemic presents many challenges and a lot of sleepless nights. Every step of the way, Mike made things easy for us.Livestreaming services: a destination microwedding meant a lot of love ones were not going to be able to attend so making sure they were able to at least watch the ceremony was so important to us. Our virtual guests have complimented not only the quality of the video and audio, but also the ease of logging in (have you tried to have your grandparents log on to a live-stream lately?). They were able to watch us walk down the aisle and exchange vows. While I know that not everyone would necessarily care about this, I did want to note that we had video as well and there was absolutely no interference. In fact, walking down the aisle, I didnt even notice the camera set up until they were taking it down after.DJ: DJ Keith was fantastic! He did the music for the ceremony, music during dinner, and was the MC for the event. His selection was fantastic and he fully respected our do/do not play lists. When it felt like our first dance was getting a little long and I was getting a little awkward, he even cut the music smoothly so we could be done. This sounds silly but wait until its you! Having a DJ/MC that just gets it and can read the room the way he does is SO important. Hire him, youll thank me later!!The Roadside Ramblers: I cannot say enough good things about them! We used them for both cocktail hour and after dinner. Being a microwedding in a pandemic, we knew our wedding wasnt going to look the same as ones wed been to in the past. With no dance floor allowed and a guest list of just 22 including us, we were super nervous about our guests being bored or the event being awkward. Instead, it was absolutely amazing! The Roadside Ramblers performed a one hour jazz set during our cocktail hour and then following our sit down 5-course dinner with wine pairing, they took the stage again and helped us transform our wedding from a nice dinner to a jazz/swing lounge. The set list was incredible - think authentic New Orleans swing, highly entertaining and engaging! Let me tell you, no one was bored!! In fact, both sets were so good and so specialized, that everyone thought it was 2 different bands! Ill save you the time on this one too, just hire them - I am SO happy we did!!

We had Groove Merchants. If there were more stars, I would give them all. This band is outstanding! Had them for my daughters wedding and were just thrilled with them. They are easy to work with, tremendous musicians and singers, and high energy. They absolutely made our wedding reception. They were a blast. We have had so many compliments about the band. I cannot say enough good things - by far the best band in Utah. 25 stars!!

The Groove Merchants were so fantastic to work with. I am a wedding and event planner, and sometimes we have to make last-minute changes to the timeline of the event, and they were SO accommodating, patient and easy to work with! They got everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, to the dance floor all night long. I could also go on and on about how sweet and wonderful all of the band members were. I now recommend them to all of our brides!

Just perfect! We hired the group for perform some Jazz during our annual holiday party. They were exceptional and the group really enjoyed it. Cant thank you enough!

The Salamanders just performed at our daughters wedding Sat night 7/20 at Empire Canyon. Great, high energy performance. Packed dance floor with a lot of compliments from all of the guests. Michael and Stephen were very good and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

We hired the Groove Merchants for an outdoor wedding in Sun Valley and they were fantastic. They were very energetic and we loved the onstage dancing. The dance floor was packed all night long from the first song to the last. They even let the groom, who is an excellent musician join them for a couple of songs.

We love working with Utah Live Bands! We especially love the band The Salamanders. They know how to keep the vibe alive all night long! As a wedding and event planner, I see a lot of different event entertainment. And the Salamanders are TOP NOTCH. Theyre professional and FUN--at our last event, they played 3.5 hours STRAIGHT without a break. Impressive! The dance floor was PACKED all night long. These guys are great, as are all of the bands that we trust Utah Live Bands to book on our behalf. Highly recommend.

We have used Utah live bands for 2 years now for opening act at our annual County Fair concert. We hired a band for my daughters wedding from Utah Live Bands without actually seeing anything other than demos on the website. These people were amazing. They kept the energy up for the entire evening and had everyone commenting about how good they were. I have advised some of my friends whose daughters are getting married that they should not sweat the small details of the wedding. Just get a great band (Utah Live Bands) and forget worrying about the minutiae. A great band will make the evening! Michael and crew were a delight to work with and the band arrived on time and ready to play.

This band made the wedding! They were fun, easy to work with and the music was fantastic!! Our guests never sat down. They danced all night! They were also great fun to watch. It was more than just a band it was a show!! Loved them!

My wife and I hired the Roadside Ramblers for wedding. Our theme was a 20s wedding and the band is known for its Dixieland boardwalk jazz style which fit perfectly with our theme. These guys were absolutely incredible. My wedding is a thousand times more memorable and definitely more fun thanks to the band. They even read the crowd really well. When people wanted to dance they turned the pace up a notch but when people were eating or mingling then theyd play more background style music. If youre thinking of throwing a 20s party with a large crowd, hire the Roadside Ramblers. Your party will be a blast and itll be worth every penny.

Best bad ever! They are perfect for every audience. We had a mixed group of community members, college students, alumni, and donors at our event and they pleased everyone. They are fun, up beat, sound amazing and are so wonderful to work with. You cannot go wrong with this band!

Utah Live Bands came through at the last minute, literally less than 24 hours in advance to save our company holiday party. Original party host reserved half the casino tables needed and Utah Live Bands were able to come up with additional tables and save the day! Great company, great staff, would HIGHLY recommend!

Our company has been hosting a 5 star Christmas Party for years. This year was no different with 740 people in attendance. I decided to mix it up from our usual DJ and hire Groove Merchants. They are PURE entertainment!!!! I cant tell you the number of people who approached me at the party who commented on the band and how they really set the tone for a fun night! Our party ends at midnight and they had the dance floor packed right up until the end! Ive already booked them for our 2016 Christmas Party!

World class performance for a great price! We had a quartet (keys, standing base, drums, vocalist) at our formal awards banquet last week. They arrived on time with their own equipment, played well known songs in a classy lounge style, and they were able to pack up quickly so that we could present our awards. They abided by our formal dress code and even took requests! This band really set the tone of our banquet, and got great reviews from the audience. Our banquet wouldnt have been the same without them. I would definitely recommend this crew to someone who is looking for a versatile team of musicians. They played beautifully together and, from some of the videos Ive seen, can get quite lively! We will for sure be booking them again. Thank you!

The Groove Merchants are AWESOME! They provided our entertainment for our annual Trade Show and they were so FUN that we decided to have them come back again due to high employee demand. The bands talent and high energy had everyone out on the dance floor and many brave souls up on stage being rock stars themselves doing karaoke. If you want a successful Company party and/or event I highly recommend Groove Merchants.

This review is for a Double Barrel super Wedding weekend experience we had recently in Park City, Utah with Drive (for our rehearsal dinner) which was full of energy and just FANTASTIC at getting our guests ( which ranged from 8 - 80 years old) up to dance and line dance all night! The following evening at the Wedding we were entertained by Metro Music Club and they kept the dance floor full from start to finish! We would highly recommend both bands to anyone looking to have a great event!

We had the Groove Merchants play for our banquet/gala. Our group LOVES to dance, and Groove Merchants delivered! We had The Salamanders play at our daughters wedding and it was OVER THE TOP!! Working with the band could not have been more seamless. My daughter and I worked out a special father-daughter dance and they customized an arrangement for us and it worked out awesome. We were able to provide a dance song list and more importantly a Do Not Play list AND they learned some new current songs for us as well. They never took a break and literally no one left the dance floor all night!!!!!!!!! They were able to provide classical guitar work for the ceremony, light music by a trio at the cocktail reception right after the ceremony and then the relentless PARTY music at the reception. There was not a single attendee that has not commented it was the best wedding reception party they have ever been to. Thank you Salamanders for everything, it would not have been the same without you, if I EVER need a band for anything you are my first call. GREAT JOB!!

The Rupert, Idaho 4th of July Celebration kicked off our 2017 event by having the the Salamanders Band for our opening night concert in the park series. This is the second time we have had this band and we think that the Salamanders should be billed as the number #1 performance band in the Intermountain region! Two and a half hour concert in the park with an amazing selection of songs, unbelievable high energy vocals, surrounded by a band that is absolutely amazing. We wanted people on the dance floor the entire time. We wanted to answer the question How are we going to shut this party down? and not How are we going get people out on the dance floor?.You guys delivered all of that and then some. You delivered the groom and father of the bride their first time crowd surfing. You allowed a close family friend to jump in on the drums. You brought my friends and me on stage for a dance party.
