Past experiences have been 100% - this one, not so much. Dock staff at Dead River was excellent but getting to the lakes was less that great - rather spooky and hard to find. My biggest complaint was that we needed more gas while out on Lake Harris. We called Venetian Cove to let them know we were coming in - got a voicemail. When we arrived there was no one from Freedom there and the city deck manager hadnt seen anyone. We had to pump our own gas and I lost my glasses in the process - wouldnt have happened had staff been present.If you are a potential member, dont let this discourage you its a great opportunity over all. This is meant to let management know they have a potential staffing issue at one location and, unfortunately, it cost me a pair of prescription glasses.

Tina and Logan at Venetian Cove on Lake Harris are excellent representatives for the Freedom Boat Club. They greeted us, showed us to the boat, reviewed the safety equipment and the vessels prop etc. They answered my questions concerning the lake, and suggested restaurants that give a 10% discount to club members. Absolutely look forward every year to take the pontoon boat thought dead river to lake dora stop at crazy gator for some gator bites the guy at freedom boat were spectacular this year going above and beyond to help us make are trip awesome next time going to take there advice and try hurricane on the dock place looks awesome as always absolutely love the freedom boat club incredible times always

The deck hands at this location are the absolute best! Love these lakes, the Dora Canal, and all the restaurants with dockage. This is the perfect getaway for a great day on the water!

My only regret, I wish I joined sooner!!! Members for almost a year and loving it! After owning several boats, this is the way to do it. Dockmasters and staff are always so polite and professional. We plan our vacations around boating now!

The selection of boats and availability seem endless. We love the entire staff. They always go the extra mile for us. Location is fabulous and Lake Harris has so many good fishing spots. AAAAA+++++

Ive been a member for three years. If you love boating and fishing, and you dont want the hassle of boat ownership, than this club is for you.

Two out of five times the fishing boat I reserved didn’t have a charged trolling motor battery for a variety of reasons. Either way, Unacceptable!! Dock personnel hit or miss in greeting and/or assisting members. I made the club aware of it through an email and a phone call.I will say, the last experience was good after my discussions with regional manager, and I was able to fish. The previous two I didn’t.I rated them three stars for the number of times fished out of five. If the service remains at their advertised level, I will upgrade my rating...the proof is in the pudding!

Really enjoying the Freedom Boat Club Tampa. Very fine folks, always willing to help, and fabulous boats. Beats owning a boat for sure! (I have owned 30) Keep up the great work! And thank you!!

Very nice boat ramp, 4 lanes and plenty of parking

Tina, Tre and Logan met us at the dock and escorted us to our boat. My wife, Bernice had questions for Tina and Logan checked my license and we did the check out together. All went very well. They all were friendly and courteous. Coming back in, they were waiting for us at the gas dock and took care of the boat from that point. We had a great boating day and we really appreciate having such a professional group at the dock. Thanks to all.
