Friend Lee Pets Dog Park

Very clean well laid out store with a good selection of supplies. was good to see fish in quarantine and nfs shows they pay good attention to whats happening with their live animals and want to provide quality animals. would be 5 stars if they had a selection of canister filters and media along with their hob filter selection. but the food and medication selection was pretty broad and prices were reasonable.

I bought two guinea pigs here today! The staff as usual are always incredibly helpful and super nice, I now have two very happy baby piggies living their best life! Thank you friend lee pets you have a customer for life️

Quite a number of very aggressive dogs with almost zero supervision as they all seemed more interested in just sitting around and talking than even trying to control their dogs. I would not recommend bringing my dog to this dog park and if you do be on your guard.

It is such a great place for all furry friends

Biggest plus personally is that its close by. Usually a good group of people who control their dogs. Operated by the pet store on site so theyre right there if you need them. Sometimes very muddy, and it would be nice if more people contributed bags for cleanup.

The pond is nasty and the pump has been broken for years. They dont mow the grass and now its over a foot tall. Other people there have reported picking up ticks.

Nice clean, safe spot for your dog to run and play. Friendly owners....the great dane was AWESOME

Pet store employee was helpful, park is nice and large with water.

Would be better with some trees or shaded areas, and some places to sit and watch while your dogs play.

I’ve shopped here for 2 years since I moved to the area. I was thrilled to have a local place to support rather than Petco or Petsmart. They have a decent selection for all pets. I’ve gone there for dogs, cats, small animals, and most recently fish. What they don’t tell you is, unlike the big chain stores, they don’t have a 2 week health policy on their fish. Their policy is only 48 hours and you must bring the receipt and a water sample. I spent probably over $100 dollars on the fish themselves there only to have close to 20 of them die. I staggered the fish so that only a few would be added at a time, I ran a quarantine tank, I used drip acclimation and I was still denied the 48 health hour policy. I’ve had 5 fish die within two days, and closer to 15 within a two week period. They obviously don’t have healthy fish but are shifting the blame to the customers. They might as well have no health policy at all. I’ve wasted over $50 on fish that are now dead, not including all the extra supplies I bought there to try to keep them alive and all the trips I made to Lee and the Exeter location only to be denied the courtesy of a refund on fish that cost around $3 each. I hate to switch to Petco but at least I can trust them to honor their policy. The last time I was there, the girl who denied my return left without even giving me suggestions on what I should have done to keep them alive next time. There wasn’t anything else likely because the fish are weak and/or ill. If you’re reading this and are planning to buy fish there, be warned. If you’re not shopping for fish, they’re fine but a tad expensive. Their small animals are not special quality but I’ve loved mine all the same. I really wish I could say better about them but it seems the place is run by girls around high school age an there’s never anyone more senior or experienced to give real detailed knowledge and help.
