Contradictory to the hours listed on the website, the old school house was closed during our visit. Evidently the person running it decided to go home early. Would have been nice if the workers in the visitors center unlocked the doors so we could take a look, but they were unwilling.

Fun little school house to visit and learn a bit about the local history of this schools local and how a one room schoolhouse would be run. I always love finding these small little gems in my hometown area. This sits in a local park that also offers some nice walking trails as well, so makes for a nice afternoon out.
