Outstanding! Leah at Lucky Bamboo Tattoo is one of my new favorite people. Lucky Bamboo Tattoo is clean and comfortable The staff are friendly and welcoming. But the artist is where the ink meets the skin and Leah did not disappoint. She worked with me to pull together style and element examples into a custom tattoo unique to me. She designed a tattoo I was excited about and put in on my skin with genuine skill. My tattoo is complete, healed, and ready to show off. I couldnt he happier with it.

I requested this tattoo (inspired by my favorite movie, spirited away) and Leah did it exactly how I wanted and I left really happy with my tattoo! It was my first one as well, so she was very patient and kind to me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants an anime tattoo as well :)

Had a piece on my left leg done by Christina and the experience was amazing. Of any artist I have worked with, she was the most professional of them all. I felt 110 percent confident that the piece would come out how I wanted, and man, It was even better. The whole experience was comfortable, lots of conversation and relaxing. I used to be a jean guy, but now I wear shorts everywhere I go. It looks that great and boosted my confidence. That is worth so much more than the price of the tattoo. Friendly staff, private rooms, and AAA grade tattoos. Cant ask for more than that.

I am in the process of getting a partial hand, wrist, and lower arm tattoo by Pineapple and I am very impressed so far. He is so very talented and professional. I am getting a forearm tattoo from Cristina and i could not be happier with it. She is amazing and while she is tattooing you she is cracking jokes, making conversation and having a good time... you can really tell she loves her job and it shows in her work! Just taking a moment to come here and say you will not regret the decision to choose this shop and studio. Not only are the artists, true and actual ARTists- they are very professional and honest about what will look best for placement, detail and sizing.Christina has done every tattoo that I have- most of my tattoos can be covered with clothing but the one on my chest and thigh are over 7 years old and I still get compliments about the color and the detail. It Is always great to see a freshly done tattoo and a fully healed tattoo but it really speaks volumes to see a tattoo several years later still being asked “did you just get that? It’s so vibrant!” I have beyond happy with my results and guidance provided my artist. I trust her expertise. If you want a quality, lasting and beautiful piece of part on your body... I found Lucky Bamboo after having a unsatisfactory tattoo experience at a different shop. Instantly walking in I knew this was a clean and professional studio.The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and set an appointment with Leiah. She fixed my 20 year old tattoo (looks better than it did new) and I got a new design in the same appointment. I have another appointment this week to update a 17 year old tattoo and will be making more appointments.This is the BEST place to get a tattoo...They have private rooms and make you feel comfortable. The time quoted was very close to the time it took a nd they did not over charge like some parlor shops around.

I had a lovely half sleeve done by Christina. She was so fun to work with, and her work is absolutely impeccable. No ink blowout and a year later it still looks just as good as the day she finished it. I’d highly recommend her for any big pieces you want ️

Shout out to Leah!! She’s awesome :) did both mine and my husband’s tattoos. Recommend calling in advance at least 2 weeks, sending them your design and then putting down a deposit. This tattoo shop is so cute and clean! If you’re debating between this shop and another, come here! It’s worth the quality service that you’ll receive.

I absolutely loved my experience here. The staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. My tattoo sessions were clean and private. Christina was my artist, and shes excellent. Shes a talented artist and is pleasant to talk with. I had two sessions on my sternum (three hours each). Christina helped me feel comfortable through the pain and included me in the entire tattooing process. She explained every step along the way and listened to me attentively. My next tattoo will definitely be with her.

Staff was incredibly nice, everything was so neat and clean and I loved how everyone had seperate rooms. More space to move around and be able to talk without talking over others! I definitely recommend getting a tattoo here because theyve definitely had so much experience and theres different artist who can do different designs and variations to match exactly what youd want.

Sooo I didnt get a tattoo but I brought in drawings (which she wasnt happy about and I dont know why) that was from my own head not anything from the internet and she said she would have to redraw them which is fine but, she wanted to totally change around the placement of everything and wouldnt tell me how or what she would change. They wanted me to put money down and I wouldnt see what was going on MY BODY until she was tattooing me... I really liked her art but Im not going to pay hundreds of dollars to not have a say what is going on me! Im sure its a good shop but they are unwilling to work with you on design.

Very efficient and professional front of the house team. Serious about appointments and electronic paperwork. This was my first tattoo & Pineapple was my artist. Hes a seasoned tattoo artist veteran and treated me with kindness and patience and I love my tattoo!

I’ve always heard great things about Lucky Bamboo and decided to get my next piece with them. Leah was my artist and did a beautiful leaf piece on my ear with some dots. She is AMAZING! Very sweet, talented and knowledgeable. She was very light handed working on my ear and made everything very comfortable. I definitely recommend Leah. I would’ve given 5 stars but I’m putting 4 because one of the girls at the front desk didn’t have the greatest energy, it was almost as if I was intruding. Hopefully that changes next time I come in.

Christina began work on a beautiful half sleeve on my left arm a couple of weeks ago. As a first timer, I had a lot of questions about placement, time commitment, recovery, etc. She took time to explain the process, session length and made sure that I understood what was involved. I felt very well prepared for my first session. Even though I was a little nervous at first, I was made to feel very comfortable throughout my 6 hour session.Lucky Bamboo is a very clean, professional studio. It is home to some very talented artists who create incredible works of art.I can’t wait to finish this piece up and start on the next one.

The owner use to be a really good friend of mine. They do fantastic work. Wont find another place that does the quality work as they do.

I gave 3 stars because their work is very good from what I’ve followed on social media.I went here a while back. I immediately felt uncomfortable. Maybe they had a bad day but I felt very unwelcome the moment I stepped foot into their shop.I would’ve loved to get a tattoo here but if you walk in and feel negative vibes immediately by the person you speak to first hand, it just doesn’t make you want to return. Never set up a consultation or anything.But again, I gave 3 stars because their work seems to be amazing and they have some very talented artists there.

Tyler Bloomingdale is an amazing tattoo artist - we give him 5 stars. The shop itself is clean and professional and Janelle was helpful in setting up our appointment. The only reason I give 4 stars is because we paid our deposits over the phone and told Janelle what we wanted but found out after paying our non refundable deposits that we couldnt talk with our artist to see our tattoos drawn up before our appointment. Luckily, we both loved what he had came up for us and he was sure to check with us at the appointment to make sure it was what we wanted

Getting my first tattoo today and it’s going great!

Not a fan of the shops policies. Do your research if you’re wanting to make an appointment. I lost $600 even though I wasnt canceling or rescheduling or asking for a refund - I just couldnt do the full scheduled time. Any other place I’ve gone to the artist would work with me so that I didn’t lose what I had put down, but that’s not how this shop works. Read the deposit agreement carefully – they follow it to a T with no room for movement. They do however do a good job in constantly reminding you of their policies - so you cant say they didnt warn you. The receptionists have always been friendly and the shop looks really nice, I just wish I had done more research but didnt since it was the artist I wanted to work with.Checking the shop out – any negative review is addressed by someone, who appears to be the shop owner, and he berates, belittles, and is argumentative instead of trying to resolve the situation with actual customer service. As an HR/Marketing professional - that to me speaks volumes. I cannot support a business that has such horrible culture and has bad business practices creating a hostile environment for their customers. They are not an accredited member of the BBB – so leaving a review there won’t do anyone much good. I love my artist and was excited to get the tattoo that we’d been planning for years done, and now I’m out $600 due to unforeseen circumstances and nothing to show for it. Nothing wrong with the artists, I just don’t like how the shop functions. Just be careful.

The hype is real. Lucky Bamboo fit me in on super short notice today and they gave me the tattoos I’ve been waiting FOREVER for. On my favorite holiday They were super friendly, from the cute gals at the front who gave me candy, to Tyler, my new favorite person. They were very friendly and funny and I felt so comfortable. Tyler did an amazing job listening to what it was I wanted and kept tweaking the design per my high maintenance-ness They were completely up front about costs and fees and everything and they gave me some good aftercare tips. Highly recommend! Tyler, be my best friend.

I’ve been coming here for months. Jared has been working on a floral half sleeve on my arm and it’s absolutely beautiful. I looked at several tattoo artists and shops in the Greater Salt Lake area before deciding on Lucky Bamboo. Jared’s photorealism skills are amazing - I got compliments on my arm every day. I also really appreciate how on top of it the front desk ladies are (if there’s a cancellation, they’ll call and ask if you want to move your session up) and how clean and professional their studio is. They always include me in their office lunch order too, which I really appreciate. Jared has more shades of ink than I’ve seen at any other tattoo studio, too. Highly recommend!

Had Tyler do a realistic outdoor scenery tattoo. It turned out Perfect! Phenomenal Work. He pays close attention to detail and a great guy to work with. Highly recommended!

Avoid these guys. They canceled on me same day. And then when I had to reschedule same day because of work, they took my $200 deposit. Complete hypocrisy. Go somewhere else.

I got my very first tattoo at Lucky Bamboo this past week. I had the honor of having Pineapple as my artist and he was amazing! He made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and he was a blast throughout the entire appointment. The finished product was breathtaking even better then I expected. I will definitely return in the future for all my tattoo needs.

This is the best tattoo location I’ve been too. They’re so professional and are great with sticking to what they say they’re going to do for you. Both tattoos I’ve had done here were done by Pineapple and they’re both my two most favorite tattoos. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to go.
