I went to the Canadian Brass Christmas concert and had a wonderful time! It was my first time there. The venue is GORGEOUS and Executive Director, Derek Kwan and his staff could not have been nicer. I look forward to attending even more concerts in the near future.

Fantastic concert experience at the Lied Center seeing Zach Williams! Beautiful and clean inside, very comfortable seating and the sound was great! Another added bonus for people having hearing aids is the capability to tap into the hearing loop they have installed and have the sound sent directly to the hearing aid!

I went to the Peking Acrobats performance. It was pretty cool. The coolest act was the chair act where one of the guys stacked chairs on top of each other while he was on the chairs.

Went to see the Red Green Show. Parking was ample and not too far from the door. The ushers were fabulous. The downside was the lack of refreshments other than alcohol. There are alot of ppl that do not drink.

Nice seating and nice programs but they wont let you take pictures inside. No way youre not letting me take choir pictures of my little sister. (And I imaging many parents felt similarly.)

Seen a play there, nice place with relaxed seating. Rows are tight so if your a tall person choose your seating wisely. Nice sound, great play must attend to appreciate.

Very nice facility. I have been there for my daughters middle school choir performance. I also saw the Haygoods Christmas show there. Comfortable seats and not a bad seat in the house.

The tickets clearly stated navigation information for finding your seat. The acoustics were very clear and rich. There were very helpful ushers.

Great seating for all to view the stage. Good sound system. Nice facility for awards ceremonies, concerts, and presentations. Plenty of parking and easy access to the building.

I have seen several shows at this location and each one has been well done. The facility is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They are very accommodating, they have booster seats for kids or shorter people (or maybe there is just a really tall person sitting in front of you). They provide ear protection and you can ask for services for the hearing impaired as well. This location will host concerts, theater events, comedians and special speakers. They even hosted my kids dance recital. Its a great place. The only reason I say 4 stars is because the parking lot is not kept up well and during the school year you get a lot of students parking in the lot which takes up the valuable spaces. The facility is great, the parking can be rough.

Love this place. They do a good job of attracting a variety of entertainment and cultural events. For example, my wife and I recently saw Jersey Boys and Melissa Ethridge the same weekend. Its clean well maintained and has plenty of free parking.

Shows here are amazing famous people come to this college town and do amazing shows absolutely incredible so lucky to have a place like this in Lawrence ks

My second time visiting and had a wonderful experience, again. Good parking, friendly staff, good prices at the concession stand. Comfortable seats and didnt feel too cramped. Our tickets were affordable and we were able to take out drinks inside the show. Very comfortable place. Highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful accoustics and comfortable seating. The programs are carefully currated. We heard Buddy Guy one week and Gerald Clayton the next. Excellent musicians of a wide range of genres come, and the tickets are reasonable.

Great experience! We came to visit my brother during his holidays and he suggested we come here to catch a show and it was an amazing evening with him and our parents. the whole place is nice and well design, the performance was unique and amazing as well!

Beautiful place. Seating is arranged well for everyone to see from any vantage point. We were here for a Christian concert, the Zach Williams Band.

Ive only been here to see Leo Kottke and more recently, Buddy Guy. Their auditorium has very nice acoustics and is a pleasant place to attend a musical event.

Loved the show, saw Finding Neverland. The venue is gorgeous, clean and upscale. As we took the family, we found it a little disappointing when purchasing drinks during the show. Prices were outrageous... $4 water, $3 sodas. It just seemed a little excessive. Other than that, great experience and will be returning for another show.

Attended a show recently and the seats I had were NOT in the location that I had purchased. Shame on me for not checking when I received them but shame on LC for sending the wrong tix. Beautiful facility inside and out and courteous staff.

Nice facility. Comfortable seating. Great place for performances. Easy to find, lots of parking. It may need an update to the lot but well be back next year and as long as my daughter is in dancing.

Just saw Michael McDonald concert here. It was amazing. Very easy to get great tickets at a decent price. Great seating. Close bathrooms. Very upscale. Great parking.

The pavilion is a wonderful venue for more intimate jazz setting. Lighting changes totally set the mood for different musical pieces.

Saw road company of Something Rotten - EXCELLENT! Pretty much every production Ive seen here has been great.

Excellent staff. I first came here to get tickets for An Evening with Neil Gaiman and all the employees were courteous and professional in spite of the mob of 500+ people that showed up. They reacted quickly to the unexpected onslaught and handled things wonderfully. I look forward to more events at this beautiful venue.

Great venue. Took the grandchildren there for the Pow Wow and had a great time.

We sat in the balcony and there wasnt any room! There was no leg room and the seats were so close together that you are shoulder to shoulder, leg to leg, with the stranger next to you. I am not the biggest fan of making physical contact with people I dont know. It was also incredibly hot. It was really just an uncomfortable experience overall. I could barely enjoy the show.

Went here for a graduation and I am so happy there was enough parking and AIR CONDITIONING!!!

This place is really cool you should go if you have time or are on vacation.

Went to see Michael McDonald. Our seats were centered in the orchestra level. The venue was beautiful and seats were comfortable with a great view. Went went to HEAR Mr. McDonald. We didnt understand any of his or his singers words during the songs. His words were clear when he spoke about his music without his musicians playing. It appeared either the speakers, tuned microphones, along with the acoustics created a reverberation so severe it muddled the words. The instrumentals were sharp loud and clear, but we came to hear HIM not just instruments. Please test and correct this before your next performance,

Modern auditorium. Relatively new facility. The lady who was supposed to help me to my seat was not helpful. I had to move to a different three times. When I finally got to my box seats I found the stage was difficult to see unless you lean over and put your elbow on the rail. When you do this you obstruct the view behind you. I highly recommend that you do NOT sit in section B1BOXL.

Excellent Performing Arts Center! Derek Kwan, Executive Director, brings great talent to The Lied Center in Lawrence. The Russian Ballet has danced there twice in the past year and a half to soldout crowds! Van Cliburn winners are featured in concert, Broadway shows, Pipes and Drums from Great Britain, The Beach Boys....I could go on and on! There is something for everyone at The Lied! Dont miss an opportunity to attend great performances at The Lied!

Beautiful facility! And the sound was just amazing! It was my first time to visit. I was invited to a concert by the conductor of the Westwood Ensemble of Westwood Ks. A new string orchestra put together by a retired orchestra instructor. Love, Love, Loved it!
