Iconic XC course, for sure. My fastest college 8k was here, and 3 of my runners were all-state in 2019. So...definitely 5 stars for the moment. And this is from a MIZZOU grad!
The last time I visited Rim Rock Farms was back in 1988 when I ran Cross Country for Pittsburg State University. It was truly a site to behold for a young college runner back then. The course was tough, full of hills, and out in the middle of nowhere. One hill in particular was so tremendous, running up it took your breath away. I now had the honor and privilege of watching my son who is a Pittsburg High School junior run this course. It was alot of fun watching all these runners compete and found it hard not to be swept up in the excitement. It brought back great memories and added several more for good measure. I really enjoyed myself as both runner and parent.
Its lots of fun to run on. The scenery is beautiful and it challenges you to get better. Look forward to coming next year for state.
Home to KU cross country and looks like a wonderful, scenic course. The trip out to the location is a little out of the way from the main roads and has some narrow gravel roads in places but not bad.
Beautiful land
Great places to wall Round at and the dog park of it was HUGE and she had Blast and slept th3 whole way home lol
Came to watch my daughter run a college meet: what a wonderful venue with so much history! I am so impressed with the work it must take to maintain a place like this. The covered bridge(s) and ponds, the whole grounds, are immaculate and beautiful. Im so glad someone had the vision to make the place and that others now have the dedication to maintain it.
It is the most prestigious and gorgeous and wonderful course in the country
Beautiful xc field. Race was well organized.
My favorite cross country course ever!
One of the best(or the best) courses Ive been on, its challenging, how its built makes the place so atmospheric, even down to breathing the fresh air was just amazing alone.
Great place to watch cross country... Pain to get out of parking during state
Grate scenery. Great corse, it has a good veriation of hills, shortish stretches, turns, and trees. Overall a wonderful cross country course. The people who set it up did a great job. And the chips they used to time us were a good idea.
Beautiful place, I recommend going here during events. Mostly host cross country meets
THE best cross country course in the nation! Beautiful scenery and a challenging course.
Amazing cross country course!
Go to restroom first, bring plenty to eat and drink and lawn chairs. Bundle up in the cold and no need to wash the fancy car.
This is a real tough cross country course. Go early. And walk the different trails. There is a North Covered Bridge and its a long walk.
$10 to park in a field, almost high centered my van
Great place to run.
Awesome venue for C.C.
Go Rolling Thunder!
Great place
Awful course.
