AR Workshop is seriously fun! It’s the best way to unwind and hangout with friends and family, and BONUS, you make awesome art you can take home that looks like it was bought at Target. I have met awesome people by going there, including the owner Jessie, who remembers my name every time!

I have been to two workshops at AR Workshop Lawrence. Both were well organized and SO MUCH FUN! There is just something exhilirating about getting to use power tools... The online registration of both Workshops were seamless and user friendly. Then the employees helping at each Workshop were both knowledgeable and personable. They even stayed late to help us all finish our projects and our group never felt rushed. I will definitely be going back to AR Workshop Lawrence in the future! Not only has Jessica facilitated multiple fun art/crafting experiences for me, my friends, and family...She also has the best little boutique shop on the west side where you can find pretty much anything. I did all my girls Valentines Day shopping there and Jessica helped with the theme and was super helpful. Their community involvement is superior and they’ve won my loyalty for life.

My 4-yr old daughter and I came in for a daddy-daughter date night. It was a blast. The instructor made things easy for us, walked us through how to do everything, and even chipped in to help fix a mistake (4-yr olds will do that).Highly recommend this as a fun activity for any parent looking for a fun activity with their kids. AR workshop is one of the best, low key, fun places in Lawrence!!!! It’s a go to place for literally anyone... date night, family time or even alone time! They have so many different and fun projects!!!! It’s such a great experience every time!

I have been to AR Workshop twice to make the trophy shelf with each of my boys (6 and 8). We had great experiences and each of my boys got to customize their shelves with the sports and colors they wanted. The best part is the staff was super helpful and supportive and the trophy shelves turned out great! I’ll be back!

Very fun! Perfect for people wanting to get together and take home a little project as well. There was a lot of space for us to work at least 6 feet apart, and I appreciated that everyone was wearing masks. The staff was kind and helpful, and definitely made me feel confident in my project. There were so many things to choose from, and lots of customization options. I recommend reading through the customizing options before making your final decision, because you really can owrwonalize.it however youd like! Ill be going back for sure!

AR Workshop is an amazing addition to Lawrence, KS! Jessie, the owner, has put her heart and soul into the store and it really shows! AR is a great place for families, date nights, girls night out, birthday/bridal shower/and bachelorette parties. I have taken 3 classes and 2 DIY take home kits and can’t wait to do more! The instructions are easy to follow and the staff are amazing and super helpful! I highly recommend for everyone to check out AR Workshop and create memories of your own!

Just celebrated my 27th birthday party here this evening. It was such a fun evening and cured my crafting fever! Will definitely be coming back because I can NOT wait to do another project!

We LOVE ARWorkshop! My 8 yr-old daughter did a 1-day camp and had so much fun! Over Spring Break we did a mom/daughter crafting night with some friends and we all had so much fun! The staff is great and so helpful. We have done DIY projects and we’re provided step-by-step directions that made it almost fail safe. Planning my next project now!

I cannot rave about this place enough. We had my daughters 5th bday party there last October with some of closest friends and it’s one she STILL talks about today!! I’ve also been there for a girls night out and had the best time making crafts and having a couple drinks with my girls! It’s literally so much fun for everyone and there is nothing like it in town. I definitely recommend checking it out!

I had such a blast at AR Workshop a few weeks ago. Even with masks on, our girls night out was so fun. I came home with a fun sign that looks awesome in KU kitchen that I wouldn’t have been able to make myself without the personalized stencil and know-how about finishing techniques.

Jessie and her staff are absolutely amazing! They go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful time at the Workshop and that you completely love the project you take home. I’ve done projects at the Workshop and multiple DIY to Go projects at home with my kids. We are an AR Workshop family for sure!!
