Always my favorite delivery on my route, the food really is quite good along with the ladies. The daytime cocktail waitress is a great with a sharp sense of humor, always made my day.

Getting there on a Thursday night around 11pm, the place was totally empty besides me, a few other guys, and staff. There were maybe 10 dancers total there, but none of them seemed to like making money. They took their turns on the stage and immediately went back to their table ignoring every guy there. It got to the point where I didnt think Id be able to spend the cash I brought because no one was approaching me. Eventually one of the better looking girls did and I got a number of dances from her until closing time. I figured I shouldnt chance trying to get variety here since none of them seemed interested in giving dances.On the other hand, management was very kind and professional which is very unexpected at most strip joints. It was nice to be around that change in atmosphere. The place seemed more laid back and chill because of this, I suspect.The interior is well-designed with one center stage equipped with 2 poles and a handrail. The music that played was usually classic rock and fit very nicely with the decor.Sadly due to strict drinking laws, the girls can not go full-nude and the establishment has to close at 2AM every night. The only place I know of that allows full-nudity is the Outhouse (but beware, this place is ridiculously expensive and the quality of women are not as high).The girls here are very pretty, perhaps the prettiest on average that Ive seen in the Kansas/Missouri area. However it did strike me as odd that one of the dancers, despite being very pretty and having a gorgeous body otherwise, had a baby-bump. She was maybe 3-4 months pregnant. Though none of the girls were rude or anything, they lacked the energy to interact with everyone.Honestly, this place would be my favorite strip club Ive been to had the girls been more attentive, even just a little bit. I could skip the conversation, but Id like to at least be given the opportunity for a dance. And for this I cannot rate it any higher than a 3. Shame.If youre in KC, I recommend checking out Temptations for a hands-on club (topless only) with reasonable prices and better service even on the slowest of nights.

The new management/owners have brought in A LOT more talent. They know how to pick girls. The food is actually pretty good. They do have a decent beer selection but you have to ask. Drink prices are fair for what you get.

I have lived almost my whole life in North Lawrence and never been to the Flamingo Club…..until recently. People talk about it….they say its poor, dirty…..ghetto…….and that was my impression. The interior was actually really nice. I was surprised. It inside is very “modern” looking, compared to the outside. The bartender was an older gentlemen, he seemed like a dick. However working at a strip club I imagine he has to deal with a lot of tipsy individuals. The girls were 6-7’s at best, but please take in mind I was there on a weekday afternoon. The last thing I will say is the bathrooms were very clean, so kudos to the staff for that.Like I said I went there on a whim, that place as been there forever! It was different from my impressions.Peace

I went into this club with my man on his bday. And when we went in everyone just stared at us like we werent suppose to be there. The waitress was very rude towards me. She would be all smiles towards him but would literally mean mug me (and I was the one with the money).. plus she wasnt very attentive.. very lucky she got any tip from me. As that being my first impression of the club. I will not be going back. The only one in there that seemed to be decent was the one dancer I seen.

May, 2017. Generally no cover or hassle. Talent runs hot and cold. They reduced the number and frequency of lumberjack sized girls and fat ones, but they still turn up. (Never have got why a club would tolerate that.) It has changed with the new mgt from what the Bird once was like. Some is good, some not. The better dancers seem to be run off by mgt and that is also what a lot of girls say, too. You can tell when mgt is bagging on them as it carries into the performance area. Day time is best in the region, though, when in a stable period. Night time is younger girls, more immature in attitude. The remodel over the past few years has made it more pleasant to be in. Lunch really is good. Too many girls dance and then hide out in the back room even when its busy, so a lot of times just tipping doesnt work to get one over to you. You have to go get them or ask very specifically, or so it appears. Even when you ask dont be surprised if they either forget or take 15 minutes to come back to you. Strange place in that sense. Its hard to have friendships with most girls as in the past when it had a more neighborhood feel because of high turnover or inconsistent dancers. Mgt tend to blame the girls and when you rate the place negatively they blame you or say youre hurting the girls. So independent opinions are important because they appear to also salt reviews. They claim high turnover is the nature of the business, and it is some, but that wasnt historically the case with this place in the past; but before the change talent had declined markedly. So from a looks standpoint that has improved a lot, but again, its hot and cold and long term patrons will tell you not as friendly as in the past before new mgt took over. Dont take a pass on this place, though, as if its not good that day, go somewhere else and come test it another time. Sound ratings with explanations will help them if theyre smart, and if it doesnt, they simply will wither and die. Problems can be cured with feedback and even when cured can reappear or new ones arise, so ongoing fair comment is important. They have jacked up beer and drink prices, but I cant say Ive seen watered down drinks. The girls dont push you which is good. Still low key. 3.5 on a scale showing possibility for improvement. I say try it.
