My son loves this place so much that he has had his birthday party there for at least 4 yrs in a row. We haven’t been there since COVID-19. His birthday is in January so I guess we will be back real soon. The staff there are awesome and friendly. My son actually learned to skate there. We love it!

My 6 year old sister and I loved this place! We went on a weekday at 1pm and basically had the floor to ourselves along with a small group of kids. The staff were friendly and the facility was clean. They took our temperatures prior to going inside and had hand sanitizing areas around the rink. Will definitely be going back soon!

So much to say about this place... Its dated and the floor is not flat. The entry way is so small and crowded even with social distancing stickers. The rink is much smaller than in photos. You can tell the rink used to be polished from the edges of the rink near the emergency exits, otherwise there is NO TOP COAT on the floor. I could feel large lumps under the wood, which made it uneven. Customer service was not their strong point either. I was not greeted at the window- I was first told the price to skate. The prices are also steep for how dingy the inside and outside looked. There were too many patrons in general to consider this compliant, although I do understand I skated for less than an hour at my own risk. What was most disappointing was the skate groups taking over the floor like they ran the place. Not a welcoming feeling.

Good music and atmosphere, good for families and just a lot of nice patrons. The staff was nice too but I wish they were more accessible. Admission plus skate rental is expensive ($40 for 2 adults and 1 child) even though all of the skates are extremely old and beat up (my sons had a hole in the front)

Its a no frills skate rink. We reserved the whole place for a birthday. It was hilarious ans fun. Their skate system was smooth and the staff was helpful.

First impression: Exterior, nondescript & small. You must wear a mask & get temp checked to gain entrance. Once inside removing mask was optional. Interior is outdated too but we enjoyed ourselves. We had an avid skater in our group & she loved the floor. She said it was one of the best around.Pros: Reminds me of childhood skating days. Mask & temp check. Not crowed. Great floors.Cons: Dated exterior & interior. The process to gain entry was slow.

This skating rink is fyee !* and a good pricing if your going by yourself its only 7 dollars

Great place for kids birthday parties family-oriented, and has snack bar area. Lots of hand sanitizer all around.

I went there in 4th grade and they had safety stuff so I recommend going there but it’s fun,It was a fun experience

They dont have no good music its only for old people they play the same beat over in over in keep hot lights on over your head the whole time food to high drinks to high for nothing little cup of soda 3 dollars like ooooo no yell better off going sum were else in they dnt help people or kids when they fall at all so do not go ther in they let people skate with out a mask on dangerous place why the pandemic going on

This rink is awsome. Its size is phenomenal. But I am an inline skater and I dont like wood floors. I prefer tile or smooth flooring. But other than that the staff are cool. The place is big. It is definitely worth experiencing.

I havent skated in 20 years. Had a great time. I love the old school rink. Just like I remembered. No silly arcade area. Just great skating. They sell skate accessories and have a snack bar. Everything is clean and well organized. Great staff. They give skaters tips while they are skating and really look after the little ones. Great job!!

I came here Saturday night, December 7, 2019, ready for a good night with some friends. I had read great reviews on the rink and actually had a private party here and the staff was so great, so i was surprised by the behavior on Saturday.I currently work at a skating rink so I am completely aware of the regulations of personal skate. The lady that was at the register as soon as you walk in was very rude and aggressive when I explained to her that I am aware of the issue and the guidelines of the particular issue she had with my skates. I would’ve completely understood and would’ve been receptive if she approached me in a different manner instead she raised her voice and rolled her neck being extremely extra and other employees in the facility watched and did nothing. This behavior is uncalled for and unappreciated.

I came for a birthday party. It was very nice. I would like to have my sons birthday party here one day.

Convenient, old school roller rink. Nothing glamorous, but clean and smooth floor. They need to fix the water fountain

We had a great time here for my daughters birthday. Everyone was nice and my daughter really enjoyed skating with her family and friends. Yes the building isnt the nicest but the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Overall the place is cool I like it. The bathrooms were dirty. I dont like how they do the admission for people who has skates or need skates but its a business. The kids had fun so thats all that matters. I will say they are very friendly great customer service. Its worth going back

The coaches are very good with the kids, very affordable monthly prices. A lot of parking available. It doesn’t look state of the art but it is more than sufficient and effective to get you to learn skating.

The staff were friendly and nice. The music was good.

I didnt expect much because the building looks old and the parking lot is crumbling but the inside was much better. They had the AC cranked and the floors were great to skate on.

Last night was horrible have been to this rink many of times before and had a nice time but for some reason last night was bad. Was not there 10 minutes when the DJ singles out my wife and daughter to stop skating fast. The tension in the air was just unfriendly felt like we wasnt wanted there. Rules was announced but wasnt in forced regulars still breaking the rules gum chewing and wearing earbuds. #notreturning

Local skate rink run by a family. Did the toddler class on Tuesday at 530 the instructors were AMAZING!!!!

First time visiting. Was a little shocked at the cost for 4 people, two who brought skates two who needed to rent skates.Got to run a business I guess but that sure didnt match the badly needed exterior. Just a quick paint job would help. Inside was great. Big, clean and well lit. Could use a little polishing like most places. Staff seemed very attentive and friendly. Only complaint while visiting for our 4 hours of public skating was that we had to stop skating to let a big birthday party use the entire floor for some games. It was a big party and next time Ill call and ask if there is a party. Also there was a note saying no request for music perhaps because of the party? Fun place we will probably come back.

I would give it a 5 if the facility was cleaner. Carperted pad top border is a petri dish.The people that work here are really into skating and it shows during skate classes. Overall a fun place to hang out for kids and skating.

Nice sized wooden rink. The flooring is a little off and you can feel where certain parts of the rink are uneven. Moderators are good at watching the rink at all times and keeping with the rules. It is clean and maintained and kept at a nice temperature. Could use some updating

This is exactly what I wanted in a roller rink. Family friendly, proper supervision and excellent staff who are there for everyone. Highly recommend to anyone with zero to expert abilty! Prices are spot on as well. You cant find 3 hours of activity anywhere else for the price.

Wonderful place, family owned, awesome skating experience...must visit to see the dedication and patience with which the coaches teach how to skate with confidence and style...very good stress buster..

Has a relaxed atmosphere. It looks a lot skate centers looked when I grew up in the 1980s: wood floors, a disco ball, etc. The music is a good mix of old and new pop. They even have trainer skates for preschoolers.

Staff was good. Found there were what seemed to be a lot of hidden fees. Thought the party was paid for but ended up paying more before I left. The experience was fun however I would never do a birthday party there again.

I went on a Friday night. It was mostly children and the music was suited to the younger generation. The food court floor is extremely slippery and harder than the actual rink. I fell hard. Still, it was fun!

Very fun! You can rent skates even for toddlers. Everyone is kind and helpful.

It was a nice experience, but you need to know how to skate to enjoy it. They did not have skate assistance bars like at other rinks for the younger kids. They also did not have instructors on the rink to assist experienced skaters at other rinks.

I had my birthday party here and we all had a great time! My friend was struggling to learn how to skate and a staff member reccomended a practice area which really helped her confidence. They were a bit strict with the rules however it did not impact my experience severely. My only issue was that some parts of the rink had a very small railing to hold onto.

I found most of the staff members very unhelpful.

I participated in a field trip here. The staff was very friendly. They assisted us with almost 200 students seamlessly. The one thing that could be improved is that they could use more skate mates to support and assist non- skaters.

This is an old school, 4-wheel skate rink. I enjoy the fact that when you visit, you feel like youve walked back into 1976, but on the other hand, the place could use some updating. Great staff, inexpensive lessons, very good exercise!

We had a wonderful time. They are strict on rules but as a mom, that impressed me! The rules they had were for the safety of everyone! The monitor wearing stripes out on the rink kept things safe and was incredibly helpful with my kids who had never been skating before. He had a watchful eye on everyone and took his job to heart, which was nice to see. I found the staff to be polite and helpful. Pricing seemed reasonable AND offered a generous military discount. Music was...eh but that might be my age showing. A song or two had bad language and thats not cool in a family environment IMO. Overall, will definitely return once weve purchased some protection gear for the falls.

Laurel Roller Skating Center, has excellent service the prices are awesome.

Ratched. Old. Tired. Most of the staff were great but that old man at the skate pick up clearly doesnt like working there. Weve been twice now and neither time was a great experience. I can only assume that theyre super cheap because we were at a birthday so I dont know.

I have a wonderful time everytime I go there. Its a great atmosphere for anyone of any age.

Do not go there. They stole my wallet, and returned it but they claim they couldn’t remember who returned the wallet and their camera only angles to the food counter so they couldn’t see who stole it. They are either thieves or just they have horrible service

The staff here is very rude. Telling the children who fall down to get off of the floor is horrible. Slow skaters are not allowed to ride the wall or skate slow?! I definitely will not be returning here.

This is our 2nd time and we enjoyed ourselves. Only thing is it smells like old sweat or something. One frequent skater said it smells like that all the time! Other then that, friendly and nice place. We would come again.

Seeing some of these reviews is very sad. For us TRUE skaters this rink is still a hidden gem. I am not sure what employees are rude or what issues others have had but my man and I have been asking at Laurel Skating Center for a long time and we skate up to four times a week. We have taken lesson with Margie and Phyllis and have never had an issue with any staff there. If you love to skate you should definitely give this rink a chance. Come see for your self.
