Its sad when children of different cultures cant play soccer in a safe fun environment. This league changes the rules every game. They even thrown a girl out without a yellow or red card. Their rules for goalies is nonsense. That a goalie can not throw the ball or drop kick the ball. They do not know soccer. That referee and so called president is full of hate and ignorance against children of color. ALL BLACK PEOPLE DONT LOOK ALIKE.

I have worked with SSGSL since 2009 when my oldest daughter played. The original management was very tough to deal with and as a result, we left the league. We came back and the new management is excellent. Charles and Patti, who work the front office, are knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. Usually, you only get this kind of treatment if you are a club coach, but both of them treat my small mom and pop team just like a club team, which I appreciate. No team is too small and they have gone out of their way to help. Thank you Charles and Patti for a wonderful experience. Both me and my girls are looking forward to another great season! I have never seen any soccer league as bad as this one. They are racist and make comments like They did today. Their comment today to a colored women was, “you’re Brown and you guys all look the same.” They had a personal vendetta against the soccer player because last weekend a soccer player of color had gotten hurt. The sister went to go see if her sister was OK and they said if you don’t get off the field were going to call the Marshall on you and a white lady’s daughter got hurt and the mother went on the field and they didn’t say anything to her. And then they don’t even have an actual referee they have the director refaree and he didn’t even know the rules of the game he was just making up rules as the game went on. The director Was theOne who said he was going to call the Marshall if the sister didn’t get off the field and then it so happens he was the referee for the game today and what she threw out the same girl

Ok this is not a joke Ive seen RACISM against a child in the worst way and not my child...Both directors are 100% racist started last week and finished with a blk goalie 9 years old being thrown out of a game for kicking a ball. Then the director said different occasion he said there all brown and I cant tell the difference wow. Lawyers office has been called. Take kids to other leagues.....

So unorganized, and they never return phone calls! Take your kids to a different league. Im still waiting for my refund that I was promised on 3/14/18.

This league is unbelievable, the Refs are horrible but the Chairman of the board, last name Hammond or Hammon, first name not worth knowing, is a complete wreck. Rude, overtalking, argumentative, and thinks she knows everything. However, this leagues other members, that I met, Melissa and Bob, as the gentleman in charge of the referees, John (I think) is their saving grace. He explained and clarified so much, along with Melissa. If they get rid of the unprofessional board member Hammond, perhaps this leagues rating will improve.
