Great acoustics, excellent crowd control, easy to get in and out, free parking - probably everything you could ask for in a venue that holds ~3,000-4,000. From Nine Inch Nails to Queens of the Stoneage, and this weekends Live-Bush-OLP show the place has never once disappointed across several dozen shows.
Great service, awesome customer service and well planned GA venue. Prices for drinks are fair for Vegas. Bar tenders were great and remember customers. Really impressed with the “multi-level” GA floor and separating rails. Sound would be great if the techs could figure it out, but that’s not the venues fault. Wouldn’t hesitate to go to a show here again. Definitely one of the better ones in town.
Amazing venue!! Saw 5 finger death punch and 3 days grace along with fire from the gods and bad wolves!!!
Great place to see a concert with room to stretch your legs. Not a bad seat in the house that I could tell. Would see a concert there again for sure!
One of the best places to see a band as you can get as close to the stage as you want. Not a huge place so you can get a good view from almost anywhere. Last artist i saw there was Nine Inch Nails and it was a great show! Drinks are about the same price as any other in Vegas.
Great for a concert. Drink prices are beyond ridiculous.
Great spaceDesigned for exclusive partiesSound system is fantasticI wish they knew hot to make better dirty Martinis
Just a terribly small and awkward venue. no AC so were sweating like pigs the entire time. im pretty sure the band cut their set list short because it was so ungodly humid and uncomfortable in there. got some amazing pics tho
The Pink Taco has great food and the accommodations here are relaxing.
Always a great atmosphere! One of the best venues in Vegas!
This was the first time attending a show at this venue. I will admit I was truly impressed. From what I was told by a buddy, the venue where we watch the show was a newly renovated space. There was a main level that spanned the entirety of the venue with a bar that lined the entire back wall. We opted for the balcony table seating, which also included table service, along the second floor. These were prime seats for the type of show we were attending. The sound from our seats were clear. I could only imagine that goes with any type of seating you may have throughout the venue. I would return to The Joint for any future events as well as recommend the venue to others.
Wonderful time! Came on a work conference to see One Republic amd it was an amazing time! Sound was wonderful.
Nice, more intimate theater for music acts. Sound is nice and warm. Easy to get in and out of due to its size.
Bess place to see a band seen recently there nine inch naila.both shows and incylbus back on Feb
Had a great time! Lines for concert efficiently run. Comfortable.
We saw Brian McKnight there July 27th 18. Very nice intimate venue perfect size. Great seat no matter where you sit. Drinks run an average $15. Staff very professional. Had a great evening with my Husband at The Joint.
Smallish venue with both GA and reserved seating. Sound was good and Jonny Depp played with Stone Temple Pilots for the encore.
Great sound, great seats...and JOHNNY DEPP!
One of my favorite venues in Las Vegas. Its a medium size place with great sound. We have seen numerous shows there and there isnt a bad seat in the house!
Mary J Blige concert was the bomb I had a great seat upfront as usual
Always love seeing bands play here. It sounds great every time and the seats are always comfortable.
This is a cool venue. Its small enough to still feel intimate. The bar area in the back is really nice. You can get a great view even if youre not at your seat. The sound quality was very poor however, especially of youre not on the floor. They also have assigned seating for the whole venue with no GA. I think this is a mistake and really constricts people in how they see their shows.
The Joint is a relatively intimate venue for professional musicians who may be drawing smaller audiences than at an earlier stage of their careers. The building has balcony seats for those who prefer sitting for most of the show, and a first come, first positioned open space at the floor level. Both are good, depending on your preference. One warning: some artists seem to take exception to the casino environment, make assumptions about their audience that dont apply to many people present, and may not perform enthusiastically, or make disparaging remarks about the lifestyle choices typical to Las Vegas.
This place rocks! Will be sad to see this venue disappear when HR closes. Go see a concert here while you can, GA SRO tickets are great. Full service bar, beers $13-15, drinks $15 single $23 doubles, typical Vegas prices.
Great venue love The Joint best place to see a concert excellent sound system!#
Great venue! I saw Slayer at the Joint in August. It was a bad ass show! Of course, drinks are expensive as everywhere else on the Strip so pregame on the top floor of the parking structure:)
Went to the Gretta Van Fleet Concert! They were awesome
I attended a performance by Nine Inch Nails on June 13th, 2018. The Joint is a great venue for large but still somewhat intimate performances. The venue only holds 4,000 people so its not too big but not too small either. I enjoyed the acoustics with the huge vaulted ceilings, great sound overall. The large displays on both sides of the stage offered a different view of a handful of key performances. The displays were crystal clear, very high quality. The only reason I cant give the venue 5 stars is for one reason, disorganization. It was very obvious that the security staff was very ill prepared for the large amount of attendees who were lining up several hours prior to the doors opening. This may have been due to a separation of Hard Rock Resort and The Joint security teams. Whatever the issue was, I could tell they were not prepared.Overall I felt the entire experience of waiting in line and getting into the venue was a nightmare. Apparently a nameless security person had told a bunch of people a few hours before the doors opened to write numbers down and start a buddy system to get in. I dont know if this was true, this was just what we heard from a couple dozen people shouting about numbers. When staff started setting up some line barriers around an hour before doors, most of the numbered individuals were absolutely livid when they found out the numbers meant nothing when it came to their place in line.People started lining up like normal once the barriers were in place. I was lucky enough to be in the front when the line started moving into the venue but I felt bad for the people who got stuck in the back. Needless to say Ive been to a ton of shows and I have never seen a numbered system like this, what an absolute mess!On top of the numbered debacle. I also noticed the security staff was very lackadaisical when it came to searching people before entering the venue. They had a few metal detectors setup for people to walk through before being met by a staff member with what looked like a wand. When people were walking through, it was more eyes than hands on. I had a security person point at my ankle and ask if I had something. I said no, and they didnt bother to physically check, they just let me in.The only reason I bring this up is because of recent events in Vegas. I think security needs to be more hands on in order to assure people are able to see the show safely. For what its worth, I felt safe on the floor once I was there. But it definitely gives you anxiety to think how easy it might be to sneak a weapon in with this security.
Fantastic venue with great sound, visuals, and visability. Drinks are outrageously expensive though. $5 for a mini Poland Spring water bottle, $8 for a small Fiji water. I didnt dare find out what the alcohol prices were.
This is one of the best concert venues in Las Vegas. I hope they dont wreck the space during the remodel of the hotel property. Also, -1 star for drink prices. Its better to hit up a casino bar before going into your event. Drink prices border on insanity.
Great location, god acoustics! Watched the band Ghost on November 17th 2018 there and it was absolutely fantastic. Nice staff, unfortunately the beer was very expensive.
Saw Jesus and Mary Chain open for NIN. Good sound, appreciate the sloped floor since Im short.
Place is huge, its nice, we had a lot of fun at the nicky jam concert
Our experience here was amazing!! Incubus, ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND! COMING BACK IN MARCH!!! Great venue to have their concert. UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE
Wow, got to see Lenny Kravitz and it was like he was playing in my backyard!Great sound, food&drink servers were very nice.
Great place and layout for a show. GA floor has a good slope to it so you can see even from the back.
Great place to watch a pride muay thai fight.
Very nice place, excelent sound and facilities.
Sound quality is good if the venue is full, and usually is for national acts.
Loved being in the balcony with the drink service. Such a fun night- loved it!
Great venue, amazing sound. Not a bad seat in the house, and it is a close and intimate setting where the crowd really vibes with the bands and each other.
I went to a convention here the place was rocking I loved itThe hard part was standing up too long my knees hurt so I wished they had more chairs there.
Great five finger death punch concert
I love seeing a concert here. I cant give it 5 stars because I saw so many of my favorite acts at the original Joint. That was yhe best place for concerts. It was a bit smaller and a whole lit more intimate. I wish they would have named the new venue something else, but alas, they did not. It is still a rocking venue that draws the biggest acts. Located in the Hard Rock Hotel, in the entertainment capital of the world.
I took my boys 15 and 10 to the juice wrld concert at the joint... The concert was amazing, and its better to include your tickets and hotel room in a package deal... Sadly I dont think the joint is going to be there much lomger
Saw Aussie Floyd here with some work friends. Good view from pretty much anywhere.
Small venue, has standing room only, general admission and seating. Good place to see a awesome show!
Went to a concert there would of had a better time if they made it darker were people would shut up and others could enjoy the concert they paid for.... will never go back again!!!
Saw Nine Inch Nails here 2 nights in a row. We purchased VIP tickets and the seats were awesome and the VIP hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sound in this venue is probably the best of any live music venue I have been in. Highly recommend seeing a show here if you get a chance.
Fun venue! Decent seats and a large enough standing area in the back by the bar. You can also lean on the half wall when standing so its not too incomfortable.
Went to five finger death punch. VIP. Had a great time. Nice venue, not to big not to small
Very nice venue. Got GA floor tickets an didnt deal with any pushing or trampling the security is on it. They also had girls serving drinks out in front which was awesome so we didnt lose our spot from up front
Small place, seems they didnt expect large crowds when built. Hard to enjoy the concert with everyone smoking cigarettes and vaping, but it is a casino. But, the staff was amazing they are great.
BEST VENUE I have ever been to! Great set up, lots of space & killer bar. $5 for not even 6oz of Coke is a little ridiculous but who cares! Cant wait to attend another show!
Awesome venue. Great sound. Sometimes vocals get drowned out by the music.
Excellent venue, one of my favorites in Vegas, really good concert sound quality. Just saw Godsmack Tonight 7-5-19.
Saw Government Mule, great show. Able to get good view from anywhere. A little bit cold inside after 100+ degrees outside.
Had a great time but wish i didnt have to stand the whole time.
Good venue although there were some issues with the sound equipment in the seats up top. The issues were corrected part of the way through the concert.
Medium sized venue that hosts big names. Roger Daltry, Bush, Live, and STP are some of the bands Ive seen there. Always great sound and lighting shows accompany the performances so cheers to the technicians and crews as well. Drinks are pricey but hey welcome to Vegas
Five Finger Death Punch put on a great show!!!!!!
The concert was amazing! The only thing that disappointed me was, on our tickets it assigned seats to us. When we get there we are told general admission doesnt have seats, standing room only.
I loved this place because its where I saw Old Dominion preform live with my best friend.
Saw Nine Inch Nails here... Recommend balcony seating.
Great place to watch a concert.
I am just coming back from a concert there, a rock concert and the whole hall was filled with chairs. Literally every inch of it. I will never understand why. Everyone was sitting and there was no place to move. Totally killed the atmoshperee. I have no words to express how dissapointed i was from the place. I would give less than zero stars if i could.
The line experience was a little confusing but it went by quick directly after doors opening. Visibility was great from anywhere in the venue. Getting in and out then back into my place in the crowd wasnt to hard so bathroom and merch runs were moderately easy. Price for my show was $160 for 2 tickets and merch prices ranged from $45-80. All shows are different but its nice having a decent idea preshow. Drinks were $8 and up. Near the end of the show the bar was setting out free ice waters which was really cool. Overall I had a great night I would recommend this venue to anyone and I would definitely go again.
Beautiful Venue, easy to get thru and highly recommend Vip to avoid poor crowd flow
I always enjoy the Joint. But having open access with my Blues artists in concert sound and having dance space... Primo!
Saw 5 finger death punch and 3 days grace and Bad Wolves and going to see them again tonight absolutely one of the best venues great prices and an awesome hotel
I love you. I love the old you. The new you. I hope I’ll love the next new you when Virgin takes over!
I’ve been to probably 500+ concerts and this was the worst venue I have ever been to. Rude security. 30+ minute wait for beer. Bottnecked lines don’t allow for easy flow throughout the venue. Getting to the bathroom was a 20 minute task. I won’t be back.
Good sound in the 303 section. Good view of the stage. Drinks are over priced (expected, but higher than average).
Ghost was the best show Ive ever seen. In part, it was due to the sound quality and service in the suites. Lucked out and found cheap tickets, 5 star service. I cant wait for their next trip through town.
Small joint every seat is a good view. Plus the main stage is massive.
Great Vegas standby venue. Better get tix the min they go on sale cause they usually sell out. Great bars and restaurants for before and after the show!
Was great venue and everyone that worked there was super nice.
What a great venue!!! Beers and drinks are ridiculously expensive though.
Security is non existent? We had about 30mins of the two drunkest guys standing next to us. They were falling on everyone and everyone in a 20 person radius told them to leave and they wouldnt. Eventually a guy(a fed-up) fan grabbed both their arms and yanked them and kicked them out of our area. We all cheered. Security should keep a better eye for drunk people because it was ruining everyones time. I didnt notice the band was playing until they left. Because it was so uncomfortable. I was guarding my fiance from having a drunk fall on her. On her birthday. It almost ended in a major fight several times.
I love the security, they showed my family so much love at the 5fdp concert. Thank you to the supervisor gentleman that gave us a guitar pick and his sidekick that gave us a setlist! We will definately be returning for a future show.
Charging $5.5 for an 8 oz bottle of water. Had to go to the bar to get a cup of ice water for free since the waitress wouldnt even offer it. Very limited selection of beers. Had to check a water bottle because they wouldnt allow it in. Atmosphere was okay.
One of my favorite venues. I hope it makes the makeover.
Great place to see a concert. Bar and restrooms very close to seats. So you dont missed much when you need a new drink.
Awesome venue, it can host a lot of people for a big show but it still feels real intimate. Security can be a little tight. I know theyre trying to keep everyone safe, but its almost like no fun is allowed. No smoking at a show? Theyll send out guys to muscle through the crowd if it looks like people are enjoying themselves too much. Still has a good time.
Valet service thank you, you were great. Taking care of my husband disability . However, the joint bar service, when a customer says NO TITOS because of allergies to it and requested a brand name, why would you serve Titos. Our friend had an attack. Thank you. You are responsible for this
Rock and roll history on display.Raiding the Rock Vault is an awesome show. Intimate experience, every seat is awesome... It only holds 240. Veteran rockers wale away on rock classics from Van Halen to Pat Benatar and everyone in between including Deep Purple and Journey. Awesome- 11 stars.
We went and saw NIN here and were very impressed overall. The lines to get in were short and quick, staff was friendly, and the place was clean. The venue itself is fairly small and there are no seats on the main floor, only upper balconies. Because it is a smaller venue, sound fills the room very well. Downsides are drinks are about $15 each, you must stand the whole time, and the parking garage is a good walk from the venue.
Enjoyed a show. Three Days Grace you rock!
Saw Jeff Dunham. He was amazing. Surprised the seats were gold outs. That was only drawback. Not a bad seat in the house
It was great music love this band
Saw Ghost here and the sound system and acoustics were amazing. Really great venue. We sat in the balcony and the view was great. The seats were a little thin but cushy and plenty of legroom.
The actual place itself was a great environment for a concert. You are not allowed to stand along the aisles on the outside or security will be all over you. And $13 PER DRINK should be a crime!!! That is a complete robbery for a beer!
This is a nice medium sized venue located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. I had a general admission standing room ticket to the concert I attended. The venue has good acoustics and I believe, a full bar. There is seating behind the general floor and 2 levels of balconies with a good view of the stage. Aside from the rowdy people who had too much to drink, I had a great time!
Saw Brian Wilson!! Very nice place. Good drinks
Balcony and bar area have slightly better sound than the floor but still a great venue!
Amazing shows at the joint... My mind has been blown more and more every time I go back
Decent venue, of course a lot of your perception of it will be based on the shows you want to see. Entrance lines moved very fast, but the drink lines moved slow.
