My husband and I love this store. Its a little small & crowded and thats part of its charm. We started buying art supplies here during quarantine and were gonna continue even when things get back to normal.The workers and owner are very helpful and courteous

Was left outside like a muddy dog and was given very poor service .Also no place to lock up a bicycle not a very earth friendly establishment. I have only had a good experience there when i pull out my wallet full of cash ....Fyi i was in my sundays best looking sharp so no reason to be treated like scum ...100% bad business.

This is my favorite art supply store...they usually have all pinstriping supplies and they carry every brand of watercolor paint and copic markers along with a great inventory of x-acto brand hobby knives....they basicly have everything!!

This place is so nice! It looks like ite going to be small from the outside but once you enter its like an artists wonderland!! This place has so much to offer and for great prices! I went there to get my niece art supplies for Christmas and I bought like 10 things and only spent 12 bucks! They are so affordable. Its worth the trip, thank you Desert Art Supplies.

Favorite art store in Las Vegas. They offer a wide variety of brands and the staff is always well informed on different mediums. A lot of their products are not found in commercial art stores like michaels. They know the local arts community and are always super friendly.

I went to this store to buy smooth on Hybrid which I use to repair my canopy at work. The store rep helped me find what what I was looking for but when back to the shop and saw that it was just the folding powder I had to come back to the store to purchase the epoxy to go with it. I understand that its not returnable at this point because it was opened but what bothered me is that after I came back and asked the store rep if the box contained just the epoxy to go with my folding powder he told me... “Yes...” The problem is it was an all in one which had folding powder and epoxy. I came back to the store in the same day a third time after finding out and asked if they just had the epoxy to go with my folding powder but they did not. What bothers me is that the first time I came to this store they told me the item was flipped around. This could easily just be coincidence that this happened every time but it just really seemed like the store rep didnt care about anything other then selling me anything they can even if it means screwing me over. I wont shop here again that’s for sure and I wouldn’t recommend coming here and asking for help either.

My first time visit to Desert Art Supplies for materials was awful from start to finish. The staff asked if I needed help but seemed more focused on watching me shop as if I came there to steal. While they answered my questions about paints it appeared important for them to highlight the cheapest ones possibly assuming I had little money to spend. After I spent over $100 shopping, the staff was confused about my preference for the credit rather than debit system. They stressed that my PIN was required when a PIN is only an option. ( For security reasons, I prefer to use my signature unless Im at a bank/ATM). And despite keeping my tote bag behind the counter and placing purchased items in my bag for me, when I was leaving the store I was accused of accidentally taking a expensive pen... So buyer beware, especially if youre brown, shop at Desert Art Supply at your own risk of special treatment.

There arent a lot of art supply stores in Vegas, and practically no local, independently-owned ones. Desert Art Supplies has a great selection for a small mom & pop shop. The staff are friendly and helpful if youve got an art question. Ive been going here for 10 years. If you are an artist in Vegas - this is a shop you should know about!

I came here a lot as a kid becuase they has things you cant find at your stereotypical art store, I ordered most of my Japanese markers and tones for my comics here.

Big selection of art supplies but rude and very judgemental of its customers. Keep getting the look of what are you stealing. First they are very expensive and to be honest supplies for art better at Michaels and Blicks. spray paint for art /graffiti art best prices Legenderys art supply trust me I looked.P. S. I am a huge supporter of smaller businesses. But this is no way to keep small brick and morter stores open. I truly hope that will change along with the high prices.

Love this place. The staff was very helpful and nice l. Then 2 days later I found out they went out of their way and passed on my info to a local artist who could be of assistance to me and she called me to ask how she could help. Impressed to say the least. WoW!!!

Everything that I requested they had multiple options to choose from the guy there showed me lowest end to top shelf. He recommended some things that were on the lower end because theres no reason to get the same item for much more money. He opened products to show that theres no difference between the lower end to the top priced option. He was very informative, I had a list of about 40 items and with all the demonstration and explaination of the products I was out and on my way in less than 30 minutes. The 30 minutes also included me looking at other projects that I wanted to do other than what I needed for school

I have used this art shop several times. They carry supplies that I usually cant find at other stores. The associates are very helpful and go out of their way to try to find what you are looking for. I was very impressed when the younger guy got online and helped me find a molding product that would help best with the project I was doing.

Ive been in Vegas for 13 years been buying my Scuola from James and his dad the whole time. They have become family to me when i come in the door they light up and make me welcome. Being a local store familiar with their artist they suggest materials to test or and provide products to be tested by me and i report back. I love the guys and they sculpry local artists to the extreme. James, Ty, Blake, and Randy ate top notch in the art field all practicing artist to boot. Cant say enough to many superlatives to describe how great this store is.

They have quite a bit of supplies for a smaller location. & the staff was helpful. The parking lot is tight, may not be suitable for longer pickups.

Really nice people. There was one employee who followed me every where but I think that guy got fired for being a weirdo. I walked in with a small backpack and he wanted me to leave it on the counter, but the guy in charge saw how uncomfortable that was for me being that my wallet, phone, and keys where in there and told me that wasnt necessary. All in all, they have a hudge selection of pens and fountain ink colors. My nephews where able to get two drawings books and a drawing pad for under 5 bucks.

I went to this store not really expecting a lot but was incredibly surprised by how many options there were for my project and how knowledgeable the staff was. I would absolutely recommend any of my friends who were interested in arts and crafts to definitely check them out.

Has SOOO many supplies. All kinds of markers and books including Copic and Primsa Color. There were things there I ha no idea what I would personally do with. Drawing, painting, building, molding, etc. The options seem endless with staff that are a lot of the time involved and enjoy helping you find what you are looking for. Ive never had a visit where someone working there didnt speak to me, ask me if I needed help, or involuntarily assisted me with finding the supplies I needed. Also, they provide different kinds of paper to test markers on. This is my favorite art place to go and they are never really busy. Only downside is bumpy/cracked floors so just watch your step. Overall a great place.
